The “really” 330 units are more expensive as they should be the ones made for Volkswagen in China. Usually allows the ability to upgrade the firmware when updates are available too. What I understand is the 360 is a cheaper copy of the 330. Slight differences to the software and physical features. BUT, most users really won’t be able to tell the difference. FYI they both have inbuilt Bluetooth. Hope this helps?
Honestly not sure about compatibility with other cameras. RCD330.com sell a few different cables for different camera inputs they have a helpful forum, so may be able to help with your camera question.
The eBay one also worked with the steering wheel controls, the adapters yes. But I looked for a seller that specifically mentioned bundling the cables/adapters with the unit. Not all sellers sell with the adapters.

I know this is a super old video but I wondered - if you're using carplay with this can you listen to FM radio while using carplay? I'm looking at getting one of these but I hate using radio apps via carplay as whenever you lose signal on your phone the radio drops out. If the FM radio still works while using carplay this is an instant purchase for me.
Sadly I don’t think that is possible, as when I jump out of CarPlay to play use FM radio it’s a different interface and CarPlay and that can’t be on at the same time. Whereas if you have FM radio on an app and have CarPlay on at the same time it is okay. As I sometimes have TH-cam playing, whilst I have CarPlay on with maps on. Sorry not the answer you’re looking for. 😞
That's not correct. The interface is different, that's true, but you still can listen to FM radio while using car play stuff. I use google maps while I listen to my standard FM radio all the time for example.
I do not have dynaudio I remember reading somewhere, that it will need to be coded with VCDS? It definitely is a common question, I’m sure you should find answers on rcd330.com forum.
@@arifali-xy6dx think maybe the rcd 510 uses an external Bluetooth module. You’ll need to hook that up additionally to the MK5, if it did not already have a Bluetooth module.

Good question, neither of which support CarPlay over Bluetooth. UNLESS, you were to purchase a supporting USB Bluetooth CarPlay device. Like the CarLinKit which you can find from AliExpress.
Good question, which I honestly could not answer you. As mine did not have that option, I could of tried an aftermarket option. But that wouldn’t answer your question either. I would suggest using the rcd330 forums, there’s plenty of resources on there and you will likely find your the answer you are looking for there. 👍
The right side selection turning button has stopped working with the latest Android Auto. Very annoying when you want to select something when driving. Any ideas of how to get the button working again?
I’ll test my one with Android Auto later, maybe also worth seeing if your RCD unit has an update available too (if you haven’t done that already). May need to download a newer firmware version to address the problem you have.

BUT the track name from radio doesn’t show in audio on the MFD when I listing Spotify with the wireless then audio are gone, don’t show anything, I want a radio who can show me the track number and when someone call me,

I think it’s called a “canbus gateway simulator” Some units do support reverse cameras It’s best to check out the resources on RCD330.com, just to ensure you have everything you need to go. But to be fair, I think some eBay sellers sell the whole package as a bundle.
Does this unit work with the US mk5 gti? Mine is a 2006 gti US spec and I’m worried it won’t work due to the canbus not being updated, do you think the canbus adapter that is sold alongside the unit will work? I would appreciate if someone got back to me asap, thanks!

What car do you plan to install this on? I quite like the one from RCD330, mainly cause it was bundled with the extra usb port. Which just keeps the unit looking more clean, without cables coming out from the front. It does also have the optional wireless carplay usb device too on their website. Which you can also find cheaper on eBay 🤣

The 360 apparently is an aftermarket copy of the VW 330. So quality is not quite the same, but honestly the difference is not huge. The benefit with the 360, is that you do get features you would NOT get on the 330. But are they as reliable as the 330? 🤷♂️

Is it similar to the yellow connector I shown in the video for the RCD330+ Desay unit? Or is it a different shape? The one shown in the video is for an additional USB port, which should have been bundled with your unit. Maybe check out online forums like RCD330.com, maybe there is a bit more info on your specific unit on there?

I’ve got a mk5 golf and just fitted a RCD 510. How do I fit the antenna connector. It doesn’t fit
You may need to find an antenna adapter, worth checking on forums like rcd330.com

How diferent is the audio quality between both?
Honestly don’t think I had noticed much of a sound quality difference between the 2.

Not a feature I have seen on the RCD units.

RCD330 and above units have standalone Bluetooth. No need to retrofit a Bluetooth unit.
