National treasure. (Edit: For clarity what is the tuning? I'm gonna try to learn this on guitar and I know banjos got different orientation of the strings. Thanks and good cover and good lesson.)
I was wondering Knox, when do you switch from fretless to fretted? Do you try to learn and teach on fretted since it’s clearer, then perform on fretless? Thanks for the amazing content, we appreciate you!
Yeah, you got it pretty much exactly. Once you learn the proper notes and chords, you don’t even need to learn the songs on a fretted banjo. If you have any experience with string instruments like cello/violin/bass like I do then its a little easier to adjust. Banjos just don’t have a convex fingerboard and bridge like those instruments so you have to be more careful
I'm definitely going to incorporate yours with mine!
I miss the mustache, it suited you so well. Banjo sounds great, thank you for the lesson.
LOVELY THANK YOU FOR THIS !
No problem 😊

Tuning is standard banjo tuning, so open tuning makes a G chord with no fingers
@@knoxmassey6822 Thankyou. My Grandma is going to love this. You put a good ring on Ola Belle Reed's music.
very nice banjo!
Thanks. Check out Kyle Wood - he made it for me
i love you
Do those Faux frets help? Also cool long neck mountin banjo
Yes the faux frets help a lot
Would you recommend learning a banjo with frets first? Or can I just buy one without?
Would love to learn the instrument, beautiful song
I would recommend buying one with frets first, 100%
