Hummmm, A-1 would need to up their game to ufotable levels, and also do the ENTIRE thing, including the epilogue side stories (and even teasing with adapting the sequel). So far, I don't think so. I LOVE Solo Leveling, huge fan, but it's just a power fantasy done extremely well. I'm a novel and manhwa reader, and I think that to reach even Top 50 it would need even better animation, and improving the weaker points of the story, like the complete lack of attention to other characters besides Jinwoo. Yes, the anime is doing that so far, but they would need to keep it up.

A-1 is doing a good job on adapting especially on how weak the manhwa does things ( still love it tho wont lie) and the manhwa isnt even the original release as the LN is and thats what a-1 is using so i have no idea if thats the reaosn why the story is slightly better than the manhwa because i dont read LN only read cool images with text 😎
I think it’ll peak at one punch man type of hype. There’s not much character development in this to contend with more well written stories. One punch is all about the craziness of Saitama. This is all about the craziness of jinwoo. If we could’ve seen how Saitama got so strong, this is what it would feel like, in my opinion. The big difference being the lack of comedy. The seriousness is why this feels more epic but people are def going to start having conversations about how strong he is versus other characters when it’s all said and done.
Bet on everything you change your mind from 9 to 10 after ep 7 or when this story starts hitting deep. The story is deep but not confusing its smooth lol

Without diving to far into spoiler territory, behind the scenes there are far more powerful opponents. As Jin guessed the creator of the dungeon wants him alive and is trying to make him strong. As for the specifics you should read the manhwa or wait for it to be animated. The story isn't particularly revolutionary but it does lead to a grand scheme of sorts, the art is what really made it stand out, and in this case A1 feels like they are doing a bang up job. The VA and Music is also amazing and is icing on the cake.
You should definitely read the manhwa, because it’s like amazing, but if you want to learn the story at the pace of the anime go for it, oh, and trust me it gets deep.
