It amazes me how delusional people can be. Why would a "young US army sergeant" want to date a grandmother? Her son was a vet, told her the sergeant was fake and she still does not believe him. Her lack of accountability is shocking.

Her son needs to get power of attorney over her financially- if she can’t mentally comprehend that she’s participating in money laundering then she’s not competent enough to have access to her money. That's closing the barn after the horse got out. She doesn't have anything left. She'd be homeless if she didn't live with her son.

That's not as easy as it seems unless his mother allows it. It is very difficult to get someone declared incompetent. It varies from state-to-state, but frequently they have to be at risk of physical harm to qualify.
Facts on facts. This woman shouldn’t be trusted with a bowl of waxed fruit, let alone in charge of money. Her delusion is next level.

She did some research, she had her family try to expose it and she still did it. At some point that amount of complacency shows a huge disregard for the law. It’s just so frustrating!
No kidding! She's got to be in her '70s and 'Daniel" could be her grandson. I would be mortified if this happened to my mother. Yet, her online boyfriend could not and would not give her any of that either. She was still alone at home, at the dinner table, and in front of the TV.
