I don't want to go too long, but so much going on here. One the Warriors organization is doing what they do especially with the new CBA designed to stop the Warriors! They are mad that Kuminga did not take the money offered which is fair! Also, Kuminga has many flaws that he should not have especially 4 years into his career. I don't want to break him down but here we go, he is not comfortable doing anything on the court! He needs to play! Create his own shot from anywhere! Pass when teammates are open! Stop getting stripped when he drives. Podz, sucks and needs to be traded! Kerr is giving him a special privilege Jk, Pool, Wiseman, and TJD have not received! Pool, Wiseman, JK all went to the G-League multiple times. Podz zero times. Podz makes mistakes, and Kerr says that he is going to play many minutes. Not the same for Moody, JK, TJD!
Would you be comfortable if your boss said "You're going to be going on a lot of trips to meet with our best customers" then two days texted "You won't be going on any trips this year" and then got on a stage at a convention of your field and said "Our employees have got to stop making powerpoint slides when Joe here, the best presenter in our field, is in the room" and so on. How can you be "comfortable" if the coaches/bosses job seems to be to keep you from becoming comfortable. . . . If I'm JK, I am leaving at the end of the season. This is something us warriors fans have been saying for YEARSSS!!! It's great to see that all NBA fans are starting to see all the flaws in Kerr's system. I think FIBA failure and then what happened in the Olympics has also helped magnify Kerr's offensive issues. These issues have always been present but they're even more glaring now with the Warriors aged stars and worse team. Back in KD years our offensive issues were covered up by KD, a young Steph Curry, a pre injury Klay, Iggy and Livingston off the bench. Great video ! Hopefully you can reach 7k by the end of the year. Keep it up man !
@@JacquelineLynch-p2l and were on the brink of elimination vs Serbia until Steph's heroics. And also just couldn't pull away from France until Steph just took over. It was Steph's brilliance that won them those games, not Kerr's offense.
I think Kerr meant "pass the ball until the defense is overreacting to Steph, and THEN take your 15 ft jumper because it won't be as contested as when one dude is doing work in an iso situation and everyone watching." It 100% sounded like that Fresh Prince episode where Will plays for the basketball team and the coach is like "the plan is if you get the ball just pass it to Will..." but i think Kerr was saying use the chaos of a few passes to make better shots for everyone not just Steph.
Same mentality as harden's rockets. You don't win champions like that by funneling all your shots to one player. It's a team game and refusing to take advantage of the abilities of your other players tells them that you don't trust them and that kills morale.
@@Unknown44165the guy who is on klutch sports payroll? The guy that knows so much that he has to post to TH-cam instead of getting an actual coaching job?
Kerr can't coach athletes and bigs. His entire tenure, he takes bigs and athletes off the floor to play small-ball. Nobody plays old-school bigs anymore, so there's no advantage to playing small-ball.
Good points. Kuminga and Moody were drafted off of talent, and theyre still assessing if they fit. I think Kerr ultimately wants kuminga not to play like Iggy, but to play like Otto Porter JR( same size basically). But Porter was already 28 when he came to the warriors and fit right into the read n react style of play on both ends. Kuminga is 22. He needs 4-5 more seasons. Kuminga has way more atheltic potential than Otto Porter JR, but he doesnt fit Kerr's system. Ive personally been really against over-use of Kerrs motion offense this season and have been advocating for more Curry on ball with PNR schemes. This may be like a Dyson Daniels situation, where if he stayed on the Pels, his full potential might not have been realized 😂
If you have an athletic player who wants to learn, wants to take the clutch shot, and wants to win, and your answer is "You don't fit," something is wrong with your system. No one has said JK is a cancer or malcontent. He just wants equal treatment. Watching Klay hoist up a dozen bad shots and stay on the floor, watching Podz be useless or even destructive and stay on the floor, anyone would lose confidence in the coach. Kerr's double standard is harming the team and eliminating the limited effectiveness Steve Kerr might have had. Its time for a new coach.
Very astute commentary. To take this a step further, the Warriors biggest issue came when Curry was sitting. You can live with a couple of bad shots by JK esp if it gets him in rhythm as well.
Whoever drafted podz and didn't want to trade him for pg or lauri is absolutely high on his own farts. Vro thought he made such a good draft pick but realistically podz is just a bench player
You are not wrong. We Warriors fans have been pulling our hair out over the Constant mismanagement of the roster-by Kerr. Steve Kerr will not be the coach of the Warriors when Curry is gone-his whole career as a coach is tied to Stephen Curry. The whole Warriors franchise is tied to Stephen Curry. They were a $350 million team when he was a rookie-now they’re a $9 billion organization. That’s why everything is all about Stephen Curry-which is understandable. But you can’t say JK is going to start and he does well-then take his minutes away. I do see where JK is still immature on the basketball court-but he’s a lot better and he didn’t go to college. It’s sad that the Warriors fan base feels he would do better to be traded. We are also sick of this pattern with Steve. It’s like hobbit ball out there.
@@raider_reaper_4194 sadly tiktok kids dont play tiny 3g line ups. Kerr is so stupid with his big ego. Curry cant carry tthis merchant anymorre at this point of his career.
This problem stems directly from never going into a rebuild because you have an older superstar on the team and keep trying to be competative. This is not a great place for players like Podz and Kuminga that actually need development time on the court and be allowed to make mistakes and learn. If Kerr wants to be a winning coach and be a serious contender all the time, he better be realistic about his players and get his FO to get more win-now pieces on the roster. Or play effective players like Moody that just play their role and simply need more minutes to shine. I can't for the life of me understand why Kerr never plays Moody. It is something that baffles me and every other basketball enthusiast, basketball analyst and basically anyone that knows anything about basketball. #freemoody Most coaches would be blessed with the young talent they have, but due to Kerr, this is a landing spot for a young players that guarantees them not fullfilling their potential. You either get sidelined, or you get a smaller role than you can handle.
Speak louder King. I always believe this Team needs to play through Kuminga. Steph is our leader & the head of the snake. But teams are getting smarter after all these years of getting torched. They're defending the 3 & not caring about the paint cause we have no one that can attack it consistently. By playing through Kuminga teams HAS to come help thus opening up the 3 point line for Steph. People hate to admit it but think of how Lebron plays. It's always give Lebron shooters cause he'll kick it out when he needs too. Not saying JK is Bron but utilize that same concept. Play through JK strengths. While taking the pressure off Steph. We all know JK isn't a shooter so why are we having him float around the 3 to pass? & if Steph can't get a shot off & passes to JK...then what? We should be playing inside out. Time has changed. Wtf happened to "Strenght in Numbers?" It's just Steph Ball now. We saw what happens when you let Kuminga just hoop. The Rockets game was the result of what he can do if given the green light. Steph was out but it goes to show what JK can do
Kerr's comments was definitely about JK. That guys takes horrible low iq shots. With that said, Kerr is a horrible coach if this is the mindset he is instilling to the team. If I'm Jk or Podz, i'm not taking a single shot in the next game.
Many people may have taken Kerr's quote to mean pass the ball TO Steph when in actuality what he was saying is that keeping the ball moving gets the defence in rotations and that is when Steph is most dangerous, teams will often lose contact with him completely or overhelp on him leaving others wide open or unguarded. That said Kerr does deserve a lot of blame and the development of the young guys have been rough indeed. His motion offense relies on players filling certain roles and playing a particular way and it's not one that just any player can do let alone young guys still learning the game. The reason Podz gets so many minutes despite having regressed some from his rookie season is that he plays the way Kerr wants and as against JK and Moody he has better ball handling and court awareness much of the time. Podz statement also isn't crazy it's a variation of what players around the league have said for years and will continue to say. It doesn't mean they are stupid or robotic it means that the speed of the NBA game is such that players don't actually have time to think through every decision they have to make. So much of players learning the game is getting comfortable anticipating the game rather than reacting to it. That's especially true for players who aren't nuclear athletes. JK for all his raw talent clearly still hasn't yet had enough time on the court to really learn the game that way. He is for cure getting mixed messages from the coaching staff. They want him to be aggressive and tell him he's starting then next minute he blows a defensive rotation or what have you gets pulled and then his minutes get cut in half. Part of it too isn't always personal as much as might like to think so. Kerr is doing what he has always done he spends most of every season experimenting with line ups trying to find out what works best and also changing them to suit the matchup and the strategy the team wants to employ.
But that is what we methodologists call "Stupid Experimenting." It would be like "I have a broken arm. So one day I put it in a cast. Next day I take off the cast and take some ibuprofen. Third day I drink orange juice. Fourth day I use some free weights. I'm not giving any of my experimental treatments enough time to work . . . In basketball terms, I am not giving any line-up enough time to play together in enough situations to become proficient together.
@@raider_reaper_4194 Curry, Thompson, Green and Lee were developed before Kerr got there (Thank you Mark Jackson). DLow was there only half a season. Santos is a statue on the bench last I checked. Moody, Kuminga, Podz, and TJD haven't developed yet, so no idea what you mean. The only player developed is Poole, and that was mostly in the G-League. So, tell me again, who did Steve Kerr develop?
You described the Warriors problem perfectly. They should sign Kai Sotto a 7'3 player who's been playing since he was a kid. It's a low risk high reward and guaranteed to sell out his Jersey to the Filipino Community everywhere in the country.
Kerr is a lousy and very predictable coach. He rode HOFers coattails to success, but now the coattails are too weak to support his flaws, small ball nonsense, whack rotations and player usage. Those midget line-ups can't defend or rebound. Over reliance on Curry is something the entire league knows is going to happen, so they simply key in, thus many of those turnovers. The guy is simply the absolute worse as it relates to handling and developing young players. I can't understand why they continue wasting seasons with him running the show.
I agree 100% . Curry is not the same Curry 2017 . Kerr still wants to play the same way as in 2017. we need a new coach with a different style of play.
That was a very apt analysis. These young players should practice the give and go with Curry. Dive to the rim and be rewarded. When Steph has the ball it's like Moses opening the lane.
You’re right those comments were for kuminga but he never said don’t take an open shot like you keep saying. He said don’t take the contested mid range early in the shot clock which he’s right obviously
Steph, Buddy, Wiggins, Dray, Trayce Dennis, Moody, Kuminga, Kyle, Looney. There's your first 2 lineups that are actually viable. Steve puts podz out there when you already have 2 other guards because.....why? You have 3 guards out there. Why? Paired with kuminga at the 4, with Kyle on the bench. Why? Steve need to be put in an old folks home with his lineups. I blame no one more than him
What these young players doing are making them predictable. once they get the ball they stop and try to create their own shots instead of swinging it to find an open teammate. It's one thing to dribble to create space. Dribbling to traffic to take a contested shot is another. What they are doing is making Curry's movement useless, Many times he doesn't even touch the ball.
Steve Kerr & Erik Spoelstra are ruining the Sport imposing weak feminine smallball with no true centers, power forwards, and small forwards on to innocent fans
First of all, Kerr didn’t say that you’re taking his words and taking it to a whole different level. He just said if you’re not open, you should be looking for Steph rightfully so instead of taking a contested 15 footer a contested 15 footer which they were doing the whole game if you watched it, but you probably didn’t I watch all of their games and I see this transpire. if you’re a Warriors fan watch the game cause you obviously don’t you blatantly don’t Kerr is saying pass the ball when you’re not open, Kuminga was taking contested 15 footers the whole game stop trying to twist the narrative, please are How are you gonna take a quote from Draymond Green from 2016? Do you know what kind of player Draymond is? He doesn’t think logically I take some of his words that he says with a grain of salt
let them play teams are able to win over the warriors because they know where the ball is going everytime inexperienced teams looks better than warriors at times because other teams players have a green lights to shoot
I’m sick of Kerr tbh bro let jk be himself bro he literally did that not to long ago with Houston showed u he can do more than what u limiting him too Kerr foul for that bruh
What Steve Kerr said was stupid what you talking about is crazy they never allowed the man to develop now you want him on the court and play perfect let the man play 30 mins and live with the mistakes to help him grow
And another thing you make these young youth kids seem like they’re all stars. They are nothing they’re trash. They can’t get 10 points a game. How dare podzss say that? I will kind of get it if he was a second option to third option he’s not even a fifth option on this team.
This is not a good video the fact is podz has now lost 9 games. He is why the warriors are in this situation. Look back before melton was hurt and podz had low minutes. Pods has no business playing all those minutes. Fact is Because he’s joooi$h he is being pushed by the nba he’s not gonna be sandy kofax he is not a nba player he needs to be traded and go back to g league!
YOU MISSED THE POINT COMPLETELY IN YOUR VIDEO. Sorry mate but you didn't understand what Steve Kerr said. He said and I quote : 'When you have Steph Curry in your team, you pass the ball'. He didn't say to pass the ball to Curry all the time. He was saying that Steph yes is the best option when you swing swing the ball from the weakside back to the strong side (when the D collapses) but also you pass because Steph is always attracting the D for you so you have an easy time on O if you just know how to execute with an advantage on the play while the D is busy neutralizing Steph. Naturally, if you have the extra pass the right play is to pass to Steph (in that Podz 3) and that has nothing to do with Steph per se but it is part of how you play winning basketball - create the best play possible and then execute. Kerr is wrong about many things (for instance his lineups are atrocious) but in the context of how the Dubs play he is 100% right. You need to make the opposing D work. If you shoot a contested 3 early in the shot clock not only are you not tiring opposing defence, you are minimising your chance of getting a better look and that's the whole point of the motion offence. Tiring opposing teams also makes them less effective down the stretch as they won't have legs to run their things (as opposed to just jacking up shots and allow the opponents to run you down in transition play after play)
You are being dramatic. Its not like Steph has the ball always like harden or lebron, like how they hog the ball and all others wait for them. Steph is very unselfish and shares the ball well. Thats why those players love steph, he is a different type of starplayer. Kerr is saying to make a good decision instead of when they catch the ball, they will do a triple threat position that no one cares 😅 check the ball movement of warriors pre KD era, you will sew how wonderful their ball movement is.
Steve Kerr is working with what he's got and trying to figure it out. It's easy to criticize him, but just give him a chance first. There is literally 55 games left to play and we just got a new player in Dennis. It's gonna take some figuring out. If your youtube coaching was good enough, you would be a coach. But you're not. Stop with the passive-aggressive video titles man, Kerr will get the most out of this team as he's always done. We are already better than last year, you can't expect great things overnight, just be a fan and support.
Kuminga is a dead end on offense by default. He needs to be able to pass to break down defenses, so they cant just prepare for his drive. He's predictable af. F*ck confidence. They're pros. No space for babies on the court.
Maybe we should trust the coach who's got 9 rings (NINE!); the coach that's been adjacent to NBA LEGENDS like Jordan, Duncan, Phil Jackson and Coach Pop; and let him coach the players like JK and podz that are in year 4 and 2 (respectively). Coach Kerr has been in the league longer than his players have been alive. I dunno.

Podz went to the g league last year which was his rookie year
Hahaha 😂😂 how many games did he play 2?
Would you be comfortable if your boss said "You're going to be going on a lot of trips to meet with our best customers" then two days texted "You won't be going on any trips this year" and then got on a stage at a convention of your field and said "Our employees have got to stop making powerpoint slides when Joe here, the best presenter in our field, is in the room" and so on. How can you be "comfortable" if the coaches/bosses job seems to be to keep you from becoming comfortable. . . . If I'm JK, I am leaving at the end of the season. And if the Dubs choose Kerr over JK, they're just repeating Cohan's choice to keep madman Don Nelson and trade Chris Webber.
@@LucasX-od8kw I agree with you 100% I am fan of JK. I also played the game. 3 yrs should be lot better, paid too much$$, Kerr is terrible should be fired!!
Playing Mikale bridges at the center….like bruh
@@jl-vk8kd just an absurd obsession with small ball lineups
they literally won gold...
@@JacquelineLynch-p2l and were on the brink of elimination vs Serbia until Steph's heroics. And also just couldn't pull away from France until Steph just took over. It was Steph's brilliance that won them those games, not Kerr's offense.
@@JacquelineLynch-p2lwhat did Kerr win in the FIBA games 😮
Fire Kerr. He lost the locker room.
I think Kerr meant "pass the ball until the defense is overreacting to Steph, and THEN take your 15 ft jumper because it won't be as contested as when one dude is doing work in an iso situation and everyone watching."
It 100% sounded like that Fresh Prince episode where Will plays for the basketball team and the coach is like "the plan is if you get the ball just pass it to Will..." but i think Kerr was saying use the chaos of a few passes to make better shots for everyone not just Steph.
Same mentality as harden's rockets. You don't win champions like that by funneling all your shots to one player. It's a team game and refusing to take advantage of the abilities of your other players tells them that you don't trust them and that kills morale.
Not to mention it is much easier to defend a team where only one person is supposed to shoot.
Steve Kerr can’t coach. Idk when yall gonna stop giving him a pass.
Awful coaching exposed a lot of these fake coaches with facts and break downs
What about in 2022?
This may be like a Dyson Daniels situation, where if he stayed on the Pels, his full potential might not have been realized 😂
pick and roll with kuminga huh? like it bayybeeee
The motion offense is designed to find an open Steph
Kerr should be fired
🤡 you tik tok kids are so annoying
#freemoody
Most coaches would be blessed with the young talent they have, but due to Kerr, this is a landing spot for a young players that guarantees them not fullfilling their potential. You either get sidelined, or you get a smaller role than you can handle.
He gave Podz a long leash.😅
Steve Kerr is doing everything possible to keep Kuminga from the max
The only person Kerr has developed in a decade is Loon who basically plays like a robot.
Curry, Thompson, Green, Lee, Tuscano, Dlow, Poole , Santos, Moody , Kuminga , Podzemski , TJD
Preach
Lacob considers them family and forgets it’s a business
Sounds like you’re describing Erik Spoelstra too
So Kerr needs to go is what I’m hearing. I agree.
I agree 100% . Curry is not the same Curry 2017 . Kerr still wants to play the same way as in 2017. we need a new coach with a different style of play.
No way the Lakers are a top 5 seed and the warriors will probably not even make the playoffs wtf
AD>Steph
Y’all warriors fans weird
Warriors at best is a play in team
I love that Answer from pods
i think podz was tryna defend kuminga
You are 107% right.
That's what caused our turnovers especially Green where the play is so predictable to just move the ball until you give it to Steph.
That was a very apt analysis. These young players should practice the give and go with Curry. Dive to the rim and be rewarded. When Steph has the ball it's like Moses opening the lane.
Time for Kerr to go--NiNight Steve.....
You’re right those comments were for kuminga but he never said don’t take an open shot like you keep saying. He said don’t take the contested mid range early in the shot clock which he’s right obviously
Facts dawg 4real.
Let Stotts coach this team!

Steph, Buddy, Wiggins, Dray, Trayce
Dennis, Moody, Kuminga, Kyle, Looney.
I blame no one more than him
jk started great but rn he’s having a rough patch and there’s no way this helps lol
Steve Kerr is the reason why the warriors aren’t a top 4 team! Also why they haven’t had a true BIG in years is truly moronic.
Winning.
It's just that Keer doesn't have a good system for the talented Kuminga.
What these young players doing are making them predictable. once they get the ball they stop and try to create their own shots instead of swinging it to find an open teammate. It's one thing to dribble to create space. Dribbling to traffic to take a contested shot is another.
What they are doing is making Curry's movement useless, Many times he doesn't even touch the ball.
good point
Fire fKerr!
A young new player for the lakers takes 2 shots a game and he is upset Lebron taking 28 🔥
Steve Kerr & Erik Spoelstra are ruining the Sport imposing weak feminine smallball with no true centers, power forwards, and small forwards on to innocent fans
Kerr's a dinosaur. A 10-year dynasty is an eternity in the NBA. W's need to move on ...
First of all, Kerr didn’t say that you’re taking his words and taking it to a whole different level. He just said if you’re not open, you should be looking for Steph rightfully so instead of taking a contested 15 footer a contested 15 footer which they were doing the whole game if you watched it, but you probably didn’t I watch all of their games and I see this transpire. if you’re a Warriors fan watch the game cause you obviously don’t you blatantly don’t Kerr is saying pass the ball when you’re not open, Kuminga was taking contested 15 footers the whole game stop trying to twist the narrative, please
are How are you gonna take a quote from Draymond Green from 2016? Do you know what kind of player Draymond is? He doesn’t think logically I take some of his words that he says with a grain of salt

Maybe we should stay in our NBA casual lanes and let the coach coach.
let them play teams are able to win over the warriors because they know where the ball is going everytime inexperienced teams looks better than warriors at times because other teams players have a green lights to shoot
I’m sick of Kerr tbh bro let jk be himself bro he literally did that not to long ago with Houston showed u he can do more than what u limiting him too Kerr foul for that bruh
Kerr said shooting a 15 foot CONTESTED shot with 12 seconds left on the shot clock!!!
What Steve Kerr said was stupid what you talking about is crazy they never allowed the man to develop now you want him on the court and play perfect let the man play 30 mins and live with the mistakes to help him grow
Steve Kerr just don’t like young guys
Podz isn't a good player tho
Great point 💯 this guy that made this video has no idea what he’s talking about 😂
I guess you’re a JK a hater too!
We are already better than last year, you can't expect great things overnight, just be a fan and support.
i understand kerr in the sense that young players dont win championships, and if it aint broke, dont fix it
Kerr is doing what he can given they let poole go and replaced him w 1 yr of CP3 then screwed us for the future...
I dunno.
maybe we shouldn’t
