Aguá House, designed by BOLO Arquitetos, is a modern summer home located on a 100m² plot in Praia do Capricórnio, Caraguatatuba, Brazil. The project aimed to create a comfortable and low-maintenance weekend retreat for a family, utilizing reinforced concrete to minimize structural interference with the layout. The house showcases exposed concrete, raw brick, and strategic glass openings, embracing the beauty of the materials themselves. The design inverts conventional spatial logic by placing intimate areas on the ground floor and common areas on the upper floor, optimizing natural light, ventilation, and views of the sea, mountains, and treetops. The ground floor features four suites around a landscaped central courtyard, enhancing the connection with nature. This innovative approach results in a bright, airy, and functional home that blends brutalist and modernist touches.

I like the simplicity of the materials in this house. It's always interesting when people choose to use raw materials without dressing them up. Cool space!
amazing
Beautiful house
Interesting use of space. I wonder if owners can purchase the lot in front of them across the street as to preserve view. A quick location search tells me there is a development underway. Interesting Balance to the project. Great short video.
Beautiful 💚 🛵
Beautiful ❤
Amazing
love it 💟
Nice!
Bella 🎉
La casa es ñreciosa y la musica es hermosa, cual es?
My question is:
How is the temperature kept comfortable - especially in the downstairs bedrooms?
The lower floor would be in constant shade since the site is closed in on three sides; the courtyard and perforated front wall ensure escape of warm air and adequate ventilation, while at night cooler air sinks into the sleeping spaces
I like the house, but a concrete house needs a lot of light to not become grim.
muy buen diseño de espacis magnifica solucion solamente quita la selocia este elemento le quita mucha seguridad a la casa facil acceso para el robo
🇧🇷💚💙💛
Quite nice little house. I miss real art on the walls. Could be anything but those hideous photograph reproductions.
El cemento tiene mucho hongo 🍄 negro.
🌹
Realy nice projects on your chanel, but I‘m tired of your always the same terms to explane „integracion in the nature“ and so on. Nice that you show the plans at the end, it realy helps. Go on and talk less please!
Would be good to do a walk-through starting at the front door and finishing with the top floor seaview
Go on and talk less? Wth?! 😮 I saw the video and I liked it. 😅
i appreciate everything
Eu esperava mais de uma casa brasileira com o nome Água.
Senti falta de móveis e objetos artesanais.
Fora as plantas não se parece em nada com uma casa brasileira.
A textura/conceito mau acabado deixou a desejar.
I think the concept has nothing to do with the name of the house, I understand that they thought of it as a vacation home, not to live in every day and the social spaces are more important than the private ones, which is understood that on a group vacation they are less important since the time spent in them is less, it has an excellent facade that invites you to want to know what happens inside, but once inside I think the best design decisions were not made, and it is impossible not to talk about the staircase they chose, the worst possible option that I would even say is illegal in most codes for several factors, having plenty of space for a more solvent solution and being able to opt for a very clear one such as changing the staircase with the laundry room and thus obtaining that greater importance to what happens on the second floor by means of direct circulation having as an option only to enter to go up to the social area, sorry I got carried away, even so it is a very nice house.
Why is it that all the videos of modern houses have such obnoxious background music? I turn it off so I can watch the video. But then when I do watch the video, I’m instantly repulsed. This house is ugly and stark, like a prison. I can’t imagine living there.
Horrible, demasiado cemento y esas paredes sin revocar. Feisimo
