@@amraceway I was interested in the statement about surviving earthquakes. I designed and built my own house in land 65 miles fro this house. I saw that it was built on pilings. This makes sense. It had the least intrusive footprint and if put into the bedrock will never have an issue. This is the least intrusive footprint.
I'm moved to tears. "Let's build a sand castle for mommy." is the most amazing thing I've ever heard. This needs to be a movie or a whole documentary. I would love to hear more stories about your neighbors and the parties. There's nothing else like this anywhere!

This is the most beautiful AD property I’ve ever seen, if this was in my family with the stories behind it all I could never sell it id need it to be kept in the family but each to their own and I truly hope whoever does purchase it sees the beauty and takes care of it keeping its authenticity without changing it

I love the history and the story of this house and how it was built. This is one of the reasons I fell in love with architecture and design, because it's so fascinating and you can always learn something new. I never knew sand was non compressible that's a fun fact I will always have knowledge about now.

I would never be able to sell something like this wow, the only reason I could think of is that it will be eaten by the ocean sooner than later. What many lucky years they had, a serious dream.
