Mipibu House, designed by Terra e Tuma Arquitetos Associados in São Paulo, Brazil, is a creative solution to the challenges of building on a narrow urban plot. With dimensions of 5.6x30 meters and only the front facade free from neighboring interference, the design reverses conventional approaches by focusing inward. The house features two internal courtyards that provide natural light and ventilation, while bedrooms are placed on the ground floor for greater privacy. Social areas are located on the upper floor, seamlessly integrating with the rooftop terrace. Despite limited resources, the project maximizes space, incorporates landscaping, and creates a harmonious living environment.

Os arquitetos da terra e tuma são brilhantes.
Brilliant
Similar layout to "machiya" houses in Kyoto. Interior courtyards separating public/private spaces.
Well done
It's been a thing since New York City dumbell tenements of 1879.. now with plants.
✌️
The layout of the house is very interesting but the finishes could have been so much more in keeping with the nature elements in the home. It’s too industrial looking and this seems at odds with the philosophy of the building.
