    When should you scan using a Tibase or ScanPost in the mouth? I've always been told Tibase is to be scanned only on models; ScanPost intraorally. Also, love the videos! They've helped me understand implant design a lot better

    Thank you, very very helpful for starters like me! Can you explain when i do need a large and when a small scanbody thats offered by Sirona for the Bluecam?

      It all depend on the implant system you are using. I can tell you that about 95% of tibases use the large size holed blocks....but the scan bodies are specific to the implant system AND the platform size. There is no one size fits all here...you need to order one scan body PER implant platform.

    Thank you so much for your videos I am learning so much from you, I have a question though is there a preferred position for the notch on the scan post? Buccaneers versus menial or distal?

      I would suggest placing posterior on the buccal, and anterior scan posts on the mesial or distal. (Whatever allows the most visibility).
