Thanks for the presentation! I have a month old zirconia over zirconia prostheses with long face and just realized that sometimes I grind my teeth only on my left side closest to one of my implant. I don’t want to break my new arches. Do I have to order custom made night guard or I can get one from Amazon? Appreciate your response.
Hi Dr. David, I recently found your TH-cam channel by chance, I’m currently in the process of having complete upper and lower bridgework done. I’ve been binge watching your videos. Is it possible to know what lab you use so I can see if my prosthodontist will use the same lab? I’m in Michigan. I’m fortunate that my dental insurance is covering 80%-100% of my procedure. I wish I was closer to Dallas. I appreciate your passion and education on the benefits of bridgework vs all on 4’s.
What should I, as a person with gum disease, do before implants? Should I take off the tooth, then go to periodontist, take out the infection, and then go for implants? Or I should go to the ortondontist to treat the gums while the teeth are in place, then take out the teeth, and then go fir implants? Appreciate your help 🙏
@@Merta-h9i It really depends on the severity of the periodontal disease. In many cases, we extract teeth and place implants the same day. In other patients we do a "deep cleaning" with local anesthesia. In patients with severe disease we extract the teeth and the patient wears dentures for three months, then we place implants. I hope this helps. If you can get me a panoramic x-ray I can be more specific. Thank you.
I promise you Kimberley he is worth it. I am having a complete redo of my upper prosthesis. I had a hack job done years ago form a dentist in Florida. You cannot find a better man than Dr McFadden and his team to get it done right! Worth every penny!!
Very interesting video even though I already have allon six upper and lower implants.. still learning
Best of luck!
Thank you, doctor, excellent presentation.
Glad it was helpful!
When using zirconium, I'd like to know what type of zirconium you recommend. Thank you.
Ivoclar Prime
I don't seem to be able to attach a picture but if you Google those words you should see the product.

A custom one would be a better bet for a proper fit. I wish you a lifetime of success and comfort with your new prostheses 😊
Thank you that’s helpful
I’m so glad!
How long to get used to?
Most people adjust pretty quickly. Anywhere from a few days to a week or so.
Thanks!

Very interesting video. Thank you!
Glad you enjoyed it!
What about Zr upper and metal ceramic lower.
Same as zirconia against zirconia. And, metal/ ceramic really is no longer used for fit and cost reasons.
Hi Doc! I wonder if a person with bad teeth health and bleeding gums can do a all on 4 implant? Thx in advance for your help ❤

Excellent teaching Doc! I would love to fly out for a consult. The price though 🙃🤔. Probably worth it.
