- This is a video demonstrating the cementation of a zirconia implant crown to a DESS angebase abutment, using monobond plus and relyx unicem 2. Dr. Buie is a prosthodontist in Midlothian, Texas, who designs, stains, and glazes all of his own crown and bridgework and prosthetics.
I for one, want to thank you for uploading this. Good information
Very nice
Thank you for the video.
I have two one piece titanium implants. The crowns were cemented to the implant. The crowns do not match my other teeth at all and I’ve always wanted them replaced. Do you think it’s possible to remove crowns that are cemented to a one piece titanium implant? The brand is noble biocare. They are over 10 years old.
Not:- you should do this ON the model to ensure contact points are correctly aligned....
Can you use fugi cem to insert its pink will it bond properly
is it possible to use scotchbond universal adhesive instead of the monobond plus? And if we do, instead of just air-drying after 60 seconds, should we apply the relyx cement first(luting the abutment and crown) remove the teflon tape and finally light cure?
Is this a classic screw retained or a combination implant crown?
It was hard to watch. This doctor has 2 left hands.
Practice before uploading the video please
gave you dislike ..you as a dentist its not your job to manufacture crowns ..same for me its not my job to prep teeth or take impressions..
btw you made a mistake there during that process (which latter cost you extra time to fix)
It can certainly be his job to manufacture crowns. Plenty of doctors make their own crowns. And not everyone does it the same way
