Hooking them the same as you but I was using a slip bobber. We had a cold front move in the last few days so it was tough out there but I didnt get skunked! 👍👍
The guys that say they don't like wild or hatchery shinners they can't afford have no skill with shinners don't have a clue on fishing with wild shinners..and they just don't know where to fish with shinners

good video, shad/shiners are great bait and has only once let me down, but damnit them lil bastards are gross. always covered in scales by the end of it lol
