1. GoPro with the Forehead Attachment. 2. Live Shiners the size of my aquarium Fish 3. Look at the size of those rods n reels. 4. He ain’t takin no shit from no fish lol
I used to go baloon fishing with wild shiners in St Johns when i was a young boy, it was literally the best time of my life! This was over 10 years ago, you brought back so many memories! thank you sir!
While it's been four years since this video was uploaded I don't think it will ever grow old. I live in the north central Florida area and watching your video has me getting my fishing equipment ready. Enjoyed it!
You know what my friend CC Does ! He gets 46 POUNDS OF BASS and uses the EPIC HOOK SET and HOOKEM IN THE MOUTH! Great vid you need to share this on Facebook!
The North Florida Angler your killing me not having a digital scale lol but man what a video those Florida bass make my pb 6.2 pounds Illinois bass look like a minnow great job and video
That aint a good day, thats an unbelievable day, shit!! You caught damn near 3 fish of a lifetime, awesome!!!! nothing but awesome,, I get clowned for using live bait when bass fishing, but Ive caught a 8.5 off of night crawler, caught an 8 off of cricket, and a 10 off of a small bream, fishing is fishing is fishing, I aint in no tournament, I just want a big bass, awesome video
Thanks Stacey! Don't listen to those people! There's a lot of know it all types and jealous people in the bass fishing industry! Just keep having fun and keep putting those lunkers in their face! Lol! Tight lines and good fishing!
There are always haters in the world! The man is simply fishing and enjoying himself, therefore, people keep your negative comments to yourself. True fishermen support one another, not hate in the sport! As all could see, the brother released large beautiful bass! So don't hate, appreciate!
To all you cry babies complaining or putting down this feller need to pick up a rod and go try to do the same! He ain't doing nothing but landing freaks and all y'all can do the same! I enjoyed watching this.
Thanks for sticking up for me Jacob! Many of the people putting me down on here don't realize the hard work I put in to find and catch these big bass! I fish lots of different lakes and river systems during the season and many times I don't do well at all even using wild shiners! But I don't give up and I keep searching! Catching big bass is hard! Finally I was able to really get on em and video tape the trip! This is my best personnel five fish limit! Thanks for watching man and good fishing to you!
Jacob Beasley anybody can catch a monster with live bait. Try doing it with artificial bait that way your not cheating it’s to easy to use live bait and catch monsters.
The man knows his craft and he's a skilled bait fisherman. Doesn't injure his bass and releases them pretty quick. Although my own preference I wouldn't weigh them but that's just me. I like getting large fish back as fast as I can. This guy is the shit though. I really enjoyed watching him. He has a real passion and he is a good angler. I tip my hat to you good sir. Nice job.
9 bass = almost 100lbs combined! EPIC DAY FOR SURE! Almost couldn’t believe my eyes. That spot you got there is one in a million. Thanks for sharing with us! I will probably catch one of those 8lbers a year much less 9 in a day. Epic!
Nice work! Got them Bill Dance spots... When I was a kid I lived near a canal that was loaded with big wild shiners and large shad. I would always see, and talk with these older guys that came to catch bait. They loved catching these 12" or better shad for bait. The told me they caught 10 to 15 pound fish for every bait. Nice to see so many good fish in one place... That's proper balance in that lake.. We are ready to come fishing say when... Swap you A Everglades Adventure...
My Dad and I fished Okeechobee back in 1976 (I was 13 yrs old). We started the morning at a restaurant called Robert's (happens to be my name to) and I had the BEST Ham Steak and Eggs I've ever had, then and now. A man my dad was talking at the docking area that had a top of the line Bass Boat asked if we would like to checkout the lake a bit on his boat, so he took us for a ride down a canal that took us to the main lake (WOW, that boat was fast!!!). Once on the lake he pointed out some areas to try and back to the dock we went. We had never fished there or for Florida Strain Largemouth Bass and soon realized we had tackle that was WAY to light for the fish that were hitting our baits (shiners with a float attached) that day, (We were using medium/light tackle with 6lb Old School Monofilament). In 1 spot (where our rental boat broke down) I must have lost 5-7 fish all 8lbs or better (from what we could see boat-side) in less then an hour. I say 8lbs + because my dad is 6ft tall, a big guy and his fist could easily fit inside their mouths and were also almost the length of his whole arm!! Unfortunately we had no experience landing bass (or any fish) that big without a net (you know, just grab the lower lip or gill flap, Ugghhh). My dad was to scared to put his hand in their mouths with the hook flying about, so in the end we never landed a Bass due to the light tackle, the razor grass we had to fight the fish through and when we did get a fish to the boat we had no net and my Dad (or I) couldn't get them in the boat by hand. It was the most exciting yet most frustrating day of fishing I've ever had. One of my Bucket-list items is to go back and fish the lake again with the proper equipment and the fishing knowledge I've gained since my childhood. Also having use of a nice Bass Boat would be a nice addition. My other Bucket-List fishing trip is to fly to Panama and then to the All Inclusive "Tropic Star Resort" in Pina Bay that's located on a private Island. Check it out and I bet you'll want to go fishing there to.. Here's to Sharp Hooks, Tight Lines and Big Fish in the cooler!! Cheers and thanks for joining my tour down memory lane...
A 8lb bass isn't all that rare here in Florida on shiners.. On rodman i have caught plenty of fish in the 7 to 9lb range and my fair share of 10+ with my PB being 11.4 on shiners and 10.3 on artificial with my hubbies being 14.2 on shiners and 12.9 on artificial. Dig a hole in the Hydrilla and freeline wild/gold shiners on a weedless khale hook and a 10+ won't take you long... If you know spots in Rodman and you got some real healthy gold shiners i would be willing to bet a 10+ within 2 days on the water.... And I would bet ya that we would boat a couple fish in the 7 to 9lb range with a day on the water.... Once you get a taste of wild shiner fishing on Rodman it's hard to want to do anything else.
Man super big props to you , don't let all this hate get to you , not I or none of these people have put in the time an effort you have to find these monsters , live bait , soft bait , wtf ever this isn't an easy task , guarantee you hardly if any people on this post have gotten close to those fish! Awesome man just awesome , my personal best is 10lb 2oz 25" , I've never come close to that since I've caught 6-8lb fish and to me those are monsters , I live in ga and catching a 12lb is massive and so hard to find , man props to you . People don't understand the time an effort that goes in to finding trophy fish , you don't just pull up an wet a line , you scout and hunt , spend thousands on fuel and bait , hours upon hours of trial an error , these fish don't just jump in your pocket book matter what you use as bait
Sir I was having a hell of a migraine not willing to see another regular fishing video and I just found your video the only bad part it's that the video ends 22:43 minutes You certainly master this technique and live bait is very good for either sea fishing or fresh water. thanks for showing us those epic large mouth bass and what live fishing can do.
I remember casting my lime green spoon lure with black dots over it; I was casting for hours on the dock not getting anything. My arm was worn out tired so I was dropping the lure off the side of the dock and just reeling it up. I was snagging on weeds numerous times just bored and worn out.... next minute you know I "snagged" again on a "weed." I was reeling up the weight of this "weed" when all of a sudden It tugged violently and was twitching rapidly. I was like: "Oh! I got a Fish! I seen the scales shine as it flopped side to side deep in the dark water. Reeled it up and landed my 1st big fish. All on the Berkley BIG GAME Fishing Rod! I LOVE that rod! I purchased another one at Wal-Mart a couple of years ago! That rod will not fail you.
This is a awesome video I enjoyed watching I am a bass angler too and I normally use artificial baits but it is fun every once in a while to get some shiners to catch a bunch of fish fairly easy.
Hey I'm in Jacksonville & been fishing whole life. My PB is 12lber on live shiner in a local lake/creek off St. John's. Glad I found the channel. New Sub😀
i been fishing 15 times only caught 2 fish. At this point i am trying to understand how far can someone suck. at this point ill be happy knowing if thats rock bottom lol enjoyed the video interesting on how you wait even after the fish has the bate and is running.
I use non-stainless steel hooks! Once in a while a bass will swallow a hook! It's best to cut the line and leave the hook in! If you try and remove it the fish will die! Maybe not right away but it will die! The bass's strong digestive juices will dissolve the barb and the hook will just fall out or the hook will crumble down to nothing and be passed! If the bass is bleeding it will usually die no ,matter what you do! If the bass is not bleeding and you haven't damaged a vital organ they have about a 75 % survival rate! My own research on bass in my small backyard pond has born this out! Thanks for watching bro and good fishing!
jjbrown16 sometimes it's safer to leave it in because the skin will heal at the same rate as the hook will rust out which takes away the risk of bleeding the fish out
Hey Isaac! Hows it going man! I enjoy lure and live bait fishing! Both methods employ their own unique skill set to be effective! Every body has their favorite ways to fish and that's great! I've had hard core tournament fishing friends tell me the same thing, until I took them shiner fishing one day! None of them asked me to take them back when a giant bass started knocking their 12 inch shiner out of the water! Lol! All of them acted pretty excited when they caught one too! All of them at the end of the day told me they never knew how much technique was involved and how much fun it could be! Many of them said I had opened up a whole new world of fishing and they would definitely be trying this again on their own! There's no guarantee when bass fishing! Whether your using lures or bait! Just go out and have a good time and have a open mind! Tight lines and good fishing man!
That's cool! I am by no means "against" live-bait fishing, its just not my thing. There is probably much more technique involved than I realize. I definitely will try it out some time. It certainly looks like a heck of a lot of fun, though! Anything that can potentially yield a 12 pounder looks like a lot of fun.
Isaac - read the book High Percentage Fishing - Doug Hannon and 2 other world renown big bass guys agree that live bait is the best way to get big fish and especially in pressured water, which I think is not the case in this video. The book is a good read.
Nice Bass! I love catching bass, i cant catch a 6+ pounder.. saw you did charters but i know for sure i don't have 500$. Some fish people dream about catching an i'm one of em' 🙄😂. Awesome fish definitely gonna sub!
Coming from PA I don’t think I’ll ever see a bass that big at least not local. 5 pounders are enough to make you get all excited around here. Awesome fishing I’ll make a trip to FL one day to catch these big hogs.
Great fish!! Nothing like shiner fishing for big Florida bass! But, on the other hand, Roland Martin is definitely your idol! He also said the same 5 or 6 words in everyone of his shows!! Maybe that's why the party bailed on you??
Amazing fishing, when you landed the first fish and it was a 8 and you were super calm like it was any other 2 pounder, I knew you probably had caught a great deal of giants. so I need to ask, what's your personal best? I've never seen so many monsters caught like this before!
Nice fishes, you caught my pb five times in one day. I would have said right there a lot more than you. If I'm ever in Florida I'll look you up for a guided trip.
amazing stringer! for anyone interested..... that measuring technique could get you in trouble if your fish is closer to size limit. straight from the FWC, here is directions on how to properly measure a fish... Total Length is measured from the most forward point of the head, with the mouth closed, to the farthest tip of the tail with the tail compressed or squeezed, while the fish is lying on its side.
Outdoor Freak it a private lake for sure i know few lake. They dont let no body but they invited like pro fhisherman that how they promote there new lures they feed the fish for years does why they cuaght big fish ??
Hey CC, here I am in 2021 watching again! Some bass group on facebook has a bunch of guys who are saying your pics are photoshopped so i’ve been sending them links to your videos 😂😂😂
That's a real NICE comment you made. I'm sure you are a real NICE guy and you're doing a NICE thing by sticking up fot this guy catching one NICE fish after another NICE fish. Yeah he seems to be having a real NICE time out there so why would we let the over use of the word NICE ruin our attempt at having a NICE day. We should be grateful that he's NICE enough to share this NICE video of him catching NICE fish in his NICE boat using his NICE pole with a NICE setup with some NICE bait on a NICE looking lake with his NICE buddy filming it for him on his NICE camera. So I don't understand why such NICE people who watch this are becoming not so NICE now. Leave the NICE guy alone and let him enjoy his NICE time catching NICE fish on his NICE boat with his NICE pole with a NICE setup using some NICE bait on this NICE lake with his NICE buddy filming it on his NICE camera. Geez, what's wrong with you people? If you can't be NICE then maybe you should watch this guy's NICE channel where he's catching NICE fish.........NICE................NICE.pole.................NICE ........and NICE.
If this wasn't in Lake Okeechobee I'd be surprised, planning to try some Bass fishing for the 3rd time and hopefully catch one because I have yet to see a Bass in person, I don't want to keep them but it would be nice to see what it's like to catch one. I'm hoping they will like my Abu Garcia Ultra Max setup, picked up some Zoom swimming super fluke baby bass appears they didn't like my pad crusher frog so now I'm gonna see if they will go for a fluke, I'm gonna be using the Texas rig method weightless. Ohhh and the best part is it's my first bait caster I've ever used or owned be pretty neat to catch my first Bass on a bait caster.
I like the video. Do I believe it? Well it's tough! I fish all my life and never had luck like this not even with one of these fish! This is not reality
Years ago me and a few friends went to this fishing spot. My friend told me I wouldnt need more than one fishing pole because of how good the fishing was. I wouldnt have my line in the water more than a minute before my pole was bending. Everytime I pulled a fish out it was either a 5 pound or heavier bass or a big giant blue gill. I threw all of the bass back and kept 5 big blue gills. My friend's 13 year old son end up catching the biggest bass which was like 8 pounds. That was the best fishing day of my life. The next time that we went to the spot a sheriff came and told us that the people that live in the condominium at the top of the hill was only aloud to fish there. 😢
What made you decide to choose that spot? Do you just throw it out over drop-offs and creek lines? Do you have a specific setup underwater that works the best?
Great videos, I am retiring and thinking of moving out there, so many different fish species to catch, love the video of you tarpon fishing in the big waves, you got some stones man!
He had an epic day!! My only issue is he was like posing for football cards with those monster fish. I get it but try to never keep those fish out of water any longer that needed. Great day though and thank you for your catch and release efforts dude!!
almost all of them are real dark in central florida where i fish. It’s definitely weird to see being as though i’m from up north. And there are monsters on the regular down here. Catch 5lbs like nothing
If I had a dollar for every time you said right there I'd be able to afford to go out fishin with you
Lol! Yeah I get kind of excited when I fish! Thanks for watching bro!

My Dad and I fished Okeechobee back in 1976 (I was 13 yrs old). i been fishing 15 times only caught 2 fish. At this point i am trying to understand how far can someone suck. at this point ill be happy knowing if thats rock bottom lol
enjoyed the video interesting on how you wait even after the fish has the bate and is running.
Could you hear the shiners say "0H SHIT!" When you put that big bass in the live well?
I thought the exact same thing....well there goes the Bait..lol
Unbelievable!!! Super nice fish !!!epic day of fishing👍
best fishing video ive seen ever man....great stuff i would love to go fishing with you
Samantha Mcpherson i
I'm hoping to get my first double-digit bass here in Arizona, who knows maybe even a new record! Thanks for the video, I enjoyed it!!!
You remove the hook you left in the first fishes throat? Saw the eye shank where you cut the line.
+The North Florida Angler we caught a bass and we skinned it and it had a hook in that look like I came straight out the pack
Using some soda on a bleeding fish will stop the bleeding. Great videos!
jjbrown16 sometimes it's safer to leave it in because the skin will heal at the same rate as the hook will rust out which takes away the risk of bleeding the fish out
WTF are you talking about. Do you know how long fishing hooks take to rust out? That's some stupid thinking right there.
I have never seen someone use that sized rod for bass fishing. I'm not hating, I'm impressed. Lol
HokiePitcher22. In that type cover, and that size fish, you have to!! He’s probably got 30-50 lb braid on his reels too.. LOLOL
Those are some Awesome fish! I just can't get into the live-bait thing. It seems to take the sport out of fishing to me.
The book is a good read.
me unworthy
i mean right man the bait the tackle the boat but he need to change that line after those fish man the ill will break
can we count how many times he said right their LOL, love the vids man keep it up !!!!!
Nice Bass! I love catching bass, i cant catch a 6+ pounder.. saw you did charters but i know for sure i don't have 500$. Some fish people dream about catching an i'm one of em' 🙄😂. Awesome fish definitely gonna sub!
Glad you enjoyed the video Caden and thanks for subscribing!
That was amazing! We make powered GoPro mounts and have had customers catch big ones like that but not all at once
I love how he just cranks the fish in like there's nothing to it
Coming from PA I don’t think I’ll ever see a bass that big at least not local. 5 pounders are enough to make you get all excited around here. Awesome fishing I’ll make a trip to FL one day to catch these big hogs.
we should fish sometime, I'm in North Florida as well
FishingWithNorm I'm in North FL also I fished the Ponte vedra area and a lot of the south side of jax
FishingWithNorm come to orlando HoGS baby!
What lake is this?
M8 I am from Scotland but if he was fishing with people from north Florida I would pack up and move in a second hahaha
CLICKBAIT FISHING oh you’re missing out, come visit and I will guarantee you will move here
Great fish!!
Florida and shiners equals giant fish 👍I catch more and bigger fish in a week down there than I do all year in Virginia
I’m soooo amazed bro you are one hell of a fisherman I’m only 13 but I plan to hatch some monsters like you great job
This man caught a 12 pounder that's INSANE
“Its a pritry nice one” 😂😂😂. I would have gone crazyyyyy
Awesome fish man!!
Thanks for the kind words Isaac and thanks for watching!
I give this guy props! Pulling in monster fish by himself with no net! Dudes got it going on!!!! 👌👊🎣🎣🎣
People fish there lives for ur smallest that day. Great job
These are my dream catches and you caught them all in one day while I’ve spent all my time fishing.
Depression
"there you go guys" had me laughing so hard
Nice fishes, you caught my pb five times in one day. I would have said right there a lot more than you. If I'm ever in Florida I'll look you up for a guided trip.
AWESOME VIDEO AS ALWAYS CC!!!
Thanks Rick!
Enjoyed it, not as much as you did,,,, but enjoyed watching!
Yep alright that's a nice one right there guys😂 but with all respect this guy was hauling fucking toads left and right😰
Fucking right he was 😂💯
amazing stringer! for anyone interested..... that measuring technique could get you in trouble if your fish is closer to size limit. straight from the FWC, here is directions on how to properly measure a fish... Total Length is measured from the most forward point of the head, with the mouth closed, to the farthest tip of the tail with the tail compressed or squeezed, while the fish is lying on its side.
I have a feeling this video will help your channel out a lot ! Hope I'm right.
I hope so too man! Thanks for watching!
Holy shit you put the Bassmasters to shame. Gonna be some braggin' going down when you get those pictures out. Great job fishin & making us jealous.
Someone pls tell me what lake this is
Outdoor Freak it a private lake for sure i know few lake. They dont let no body but they invited like pro fhisherman that how they promote there new lures they feed the fish for years does why they cuaght big fish ??
@@mikedemoros671 Lol! This is a public lake bro! This is a small part that is conected to a much larger lake via a canal.
Hey CC, here I am in 2021 watching again! Some bass group on facebook has a bunch of guys who are saying your pics are photoshopped so i’ve been sending them links to your videos 😂😂😂
You guys are babies, let the guy enjoy his fishing, it's sad to see people so enraged with jealously that all they can do is complain.
Bubble bass yeah
Welcome to the St. John’s river!!!
@@bradwillman877 yep, and now I live there...biggest 81/2
I love this video. That is some huge monster bass. well done.
“Nice fish right der... yuuup, that is a nice one”
What made you decide to choose that spot? Do you just throw it out over drop-offs and creek lines? Do you have a specific setup underwater that works the best?
ITS RIGHT THERE GUYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!nice fish dude
Great videos, I am retiring and thinking of moving out there, so many different fish species to catch, love the video of you tarpon fishing in the big waves, you got some stones man!
Sorry I'm so late on this reply! But thanks for the kind words and thanks for your support!
Shoot yea shoot yea shoot yea shoot yea shoot yea
Gotta love FL, bass fishing like snook fishing on live bait. Some serious buckets in that pond.
A little too much time spent out of the water, but amazing fish!
He had an epic day!!
My only issue is he was like posing for football cards with those monster fish.
I get it but try to never keep those fish out of water any longer that needed.
Great day though and thank you for your catch and release efforts dude!!
Epic! U the man tnfa
HE likes to HOOKEM IN THE MOUTH!!!!!!! YOU KNOW THAT BRO!!!!!! TAKE CARE MAN!!
My man Charles!
That is a pretty nice fish right Der, awsome and so calm also his patience for setting a hook is perfect.

Lol! Nope! Anybody that has a boat can fish this lake!
The North Florida Angler would you tell what lake
Lol!

Paul Schweickert Florida has many bass over ten pounds. Even 15. It's Florida man. Big bass heaven.
Brother u crushed em!!! I never seen a bass so dark as your second fish. Good vid. Nice job !! WATCH UR THIRD CATCH NOW!!!
almost all of them are real dark in central florida where i fish. It’s definitely weird to see being as though i’m from up north. And there are monsters on the regular down here. Catch 5lbs like nothing
10:40
Where? Oh, right there!
That right there is a right there! Congratulations champ 🫡

Thanks Daniel Z and good fishing to ya!
Great stuff ! Did you ever try planer boards . I feel like bump trolling those big shiners on a board spread would be deadly

Man!! I would pay to have a day fishing like that!! Nice job...
