- Driving the FJ Cruiser through the Namib desert to Meob bay, Episode 2.
The series will be aproximately 11 episodes covering the 7 days of our journey through the scorching desert with extreme dunes to the West coast of Namibia where we wil catch fish and drive some scary dunes. In our convoy we have the FJ Cruiser, Land Cruiser pickup, a couple of GD6 Hiluxes, Fortuner and notably the brand new Nissan Patrol.
On day 2 we start climbing some dunes and by the end of the day we camp next to a very high dune where we hae to opertunity to practice our sand driving skills and get some tips from the experts, our guides PW and Jaques.

As an old Irishman who travelled in Namibia in a Toyota Camry I appreciate the beauty of the desert , thanks also for the use of English on occasion . Lucky guys!! Greetings from Northern Ireland .

Wow, what an incredible adrenaline rush, I now know what it must have felt like to fall in love with desert landscapes, just as Lawrence of Arabia did, he would have been proud of all you guys, keep safe and looking forward to seeing more of the magnificence Namib, thank you once again.
What an awesome experience this must be. I had the chance to visit your beautiful country for quite some time a couple of years ago, also got the chance to fish on several occasions, fresh water and salt water. But something like this will remain a dream for me I guess, hard to realize with rentals I believe...

Baie dankie Jors, dis lekker om saam te toer, al het ek nie die stuurwiel in hand en jaag die andrenalien so nou en dan nie die hoogtes in nie.

I would be worried about my fuel supply playing on the dunes. Would like to know a fuel station is close by 😁
