    • @fragilerovers
      @fragilerovers  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I guess that’s because New York is more of a tourist state than Texas, so it’s always busy in most places in the state

    • @blackhole9961
      @blackhole9961 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Simply due to the urban fabric of Dallas.
      It's basically a giant suburb, surrounded by hundreds of other suburbs.
      around 12 thousand people actually live in the downtown district of Dallas vs the rest of Dallas proper which is 1.2 million. Not to mention, actual attractions are scattered about the entire DFW area and aren't all located in downtown.

    • @terencewilliams7509

      I agree, compared to our legacy cities it's very sterile and they did not even know a city can add flowers and planters. More trees too and less all concrete with less bland architecture add more art. Restore more those old buildings.... they will probably be lost for bland. Compared to some other cities.... one of our most sterile. We do have cities that did better.

    • @deanchapman1824
      @deanchapman1824 ปีที่แล้ว

      It's only like that in these car oriented sunbelt cities. NYC, Boston is not like this at all. Plus it's too damn hot in Dallas. But I agree, it's sterile.

    • @deanchapman1824
      @deanchapman1824 ปีที่แล้ว

      @davidw7 yet they think they're so great. I mean, it's not bad, but not world class.

    • @blackhole9961
      @blackhole9961 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@deanchapman1824 NYC, Boston, and a handful of other cities in america are really the only outliers here. The Vast majority of American cities are going to more closely resemble the likes of Dallas, Houston, Kansas city, etc. not just the sunbelt too.

      That was just 1/4 of Downtown, it's waayy more to see. Arts District, klyde Warren Park, Victory Park, Uptown. We are a World class City. Get it right

    • @deanchapman1824
      @deanchapman1824 ปีที่แล้ว

      @terencewilliams7509 not world class by any stretch. For one, it's car oriented. No landmarks. If you think the Reunion Tower is an iconic landmark.... You're LANDLOCKED. You're intensely SPRAWLED.
