Well if you do come back, you're going to notice that Dallas is continuing to grow like crazy. This footage is already dated because there are several new buildings that aren't in the video. And a brand new high-rise complex of buildings just started construction in October over off Central just south of the Cityplace skyscraper.
The city planners try to maintain the signature look of the skyline, while adding more and more buildings. So it's much bigger than it was in the '80's, but still has the same basic look.
There are 100s of new buildings but they city management has maintained the traditional look. Very few cities are as pretty as Dallas at night, if any.

It's been that way since the '70's, very flashy glass buildings and they just keep adding more. It's awesome looking at night all lit up in different colors.

It took me a few to realize Ft. Worth is peppered in a bit.
I liked this but we can do better than "Ferris Wheel" That's the Texas Star, currently the second largest Ferris Wheel in North America.

At 3 min tires you out Doentown Fort Worth. That’s a complete different city. Please stop lumping my city of Fort Worth with wack ass Dallas.
