    I've got the DeWalt 18 volt jigsaw. Having a cordless jigsaw is such less of headache.

    Back in 2004 I bought the Bosch 1591EVSK 6.4 Amp Barrel Grip Jigsaw, it took everything thrown at it and still purrs like new today. The Bosch JS120 12V Jigsaw is the great grandchild with the same ease and function. Both have the barrel grip which has always been my preference. This is a great tool, I'd ordered my from England before it was available in the the States. Personally I hope they plans to bring the 12V circular saw over here. These smaller tools are great on the workbench or in specialty situations. Bosch is by far my favorite tool company...Invented for Life is a great motto, they last forever!

    Never added a jig saw to my 12v line always wanted to but I would never use it. Bosch does make great products so you really can't go wrong with it. Great video.

    That's a sweet little jig, I have the m12 jig and that is so stripped down compared to this. Awesome having them features in a 12v.

    A great looking tool! I can see a real use for this in my line of work, marine engineering. if I was on a boat needing to cut an access hole in a panel or even for cutting new panels to fit as it's compact and easy to control.

    That is one cool tool, even though it is not a 20 volt it is a small BEAST I would love to try that thing out. Bosch has really proved themselves especially after the tool fight like Dan said. LOVE BOSCH!!!

    I agree, best jigsaws on the market. Bosch is the only brand I've ever been recommended, and the only brand my grandfather (a 40+ year carpenter) will spend his money on. Solid stuff

    I love this jigsaw and I love my Bosch 12V tools. I think they are the best and most rugged 12V tools on the market. My only beef with them is that I think there batteries suck. They are incredibly poorly designed and they don't hold up to general use. There are three terminals that the juice flows through and they jam up to the point where the tools is not getting electricity. The more you take the battery in and out, the worse they get. Regardless of this, I still love the tools. I beat the crap out of the bare tool portion. Great review guys!

    I know Bosch makes a quality tool, but I have to admit that I'm very pleased with my Milwaukee 2445. It does what I need it to do with little effort and the LED light is helpful as well.

    Can this thing cut square or the resulting cuts still slightly beveled?
    This could go where my circular saw would be overkill.

    *I've had some time🌗 **allabout.wiki/BDEJS600Cl** to get used to using the saw now and I think its a good one. It feels very solid and well made - great BLACK+DECKER quality. I like the settings it has for the eliptical blade movement and blowing dust out of the blade path. The quick blade change lever is easy to use but wont be accidentally bumped. I feel that this is a tool that will last me many years. I was considering the next model up to get the additional blade stabilization, but I think most of the blade flex happens below the foot of the saw anyway were there cant be any support. I think usage technique can make up for most blade flex and you also have to realize that this is a fact of life with a jigsaw and use it accordingly.*

    Looks like a nice Jigsaw. I have the M12 Milwaukee hybrid jigsaw which is nice but is huge compared to the Bosch. With cordless tools for the most part it comes down to which platform your on. I still can't believe they don't have a brushless 12v impact driver out yet. It is funny the cheap Bosch beat all the high dollar drills the fancy electronics are their downfall.

    • @leecewest
      @leecewest 8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      +Adolfo Torres The Bosch 10.8v batteries are the same as the 12v

    • @kitt1977
      @kitt1977 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      +Adolfo Torres in europe it's 10,8V advertised .. but i think they are the same as 12V in USA .

    • @Toolsinaction
      @Toolsinaction  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      +Adolfo Torres yes 10.8 and 12v MAX are the same. I believe they should work unless Bosch changed the interface in which the battery connects to the tool.

    • @leecewest
      @leecewest 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      +Tools In Action I have both, they are the same voltage and are interchangeable. The batteries have 3 cells - fully charged and under load they are 3.6 v (3.6*3=10.8), fully charged and at rest they are about 4.1 v(4.1*3=12.3v). Marketing decided to rename the 10.8v batteries 12v MAX. I'm surprised more brands haven't labeled their 18v batteries as 20v.
