Nice little jigsaw, looked like it would be really easy one hand operation. I don't have any 12V tools, but they are coming along really strong. Nice to see companies focusing on compact tools and not just pushing for the highest voltage.
I have the corded JS572 and it is a fantastic jigsaw. However, sometimes I just like to grab a tool and get a job done and that is the 12V lineup. I have many Bosch 12V tools and this new JS120 will be in my cabinet as soon as I can get to Mann Tools! Bosch Tools Rule!!
I do have a Bosch jig saw and it is great. Bosch is the way to go with that tool
Finally they have an addition to the 12v lineup....I've been waiting for so long for some new products...and now an extending battery...Bosch is always a little late to the party with stuff but when they release it, u can tell its high quality....Dan, u should try to fond that video of the guy smashing through the plywood, it would be cool to see

i dont have any 12v tools yet from bosch but thats a jigsaw i need to own when i start to fill up my shelves with 12v batteries haha.
they will definitely come out with the top handle soon - many people prefer that over the barrel grip.

wow, great little Jigsaw...nice to see another manufacturer putting their weight behind their 12v line up...DeWalt take note!!!! Looked like a really compact size Dan and the grip looked comfortable...great way to start my weekend, a bacon sandwich, hot cup of tea and some TIA...awesome!!

Nice tool! I'm not sure how I feel about the barrel handle, but then again, it's a 12v tool. That being said, it's not going to be used on heady duty material that you sometimes have to really push the tool through. It would be cool if the sent you one so that you could really put it through the ringer to see how it will perform and what kind of material it will cut through.
Nice - it would be nice to have something a bit smaller & battery powered to accompany my chunky Pro Tool jigsaw. I'm glad Bosch has come out with this as sometimes you just need to do a small job and can't be bothered cracking out the larger tools.
Looks awesome, it could fit in some tight spaces inside cabinets. All these world of concrete videos make me jealous, I wish I could have gone..lol Great videos guys keep it up!!

It's about time. I have all the 12v tools. So this would be great for me when I could use a cordless rather then my corded Bosch jigsaw. I also think that the barrel grip will be just fine. It is a 12v cordless after all. So I dont see the need for a handle grip. That will be my next buy for my Bosch 12v tools.
I'm a Milwaukee person, but I opted not to buy Milwaukee's 12 volt version due to the lack of the orbital feature, so I ended up getting their 18 volt model instead. It's a great saw, but too big and bulky for some projects. After seeing the Bosch JS120, it's a pretty good bet that there may be one of those in my possession in the near future. I know they make an excellent tool. It's just having to purchase a different brand (other than Milwaukee) along with a charger and battery that's hard to come to terms with. Having everything from one manufacturer and having the ability to use one battery for everything is great, but I'm willing to make an exception with the JS120. The JS120 looks to be a quality, very compact and powerful cordless jigsaw. Can't wait to actually see one in person. By the way, does it have an LED light? Not that it would be a deal breaker, but it would be a nice feature.

Really cool offering from bosch.. I love how thy packed all the features of a full size especially the orbital action into this 12v.. the lack of orbit is where the Milwaukee becomes a looser to me.
There is no doubt that they know what they are doing when it comes to jigsaws!

Tools In Action It's something to watch on a boring weekend till I can get out and do some work outside. You don't see too much TH-cam content posted on the weekend. We actually got into the low 40's in Michigan today!! I'm so over these horrible winters we have been having.

I would like to see a side-by-side next to the m12. I'm on the fence with the M12.
Brien I personally love my m12 jigsaw. It rips through 3/4" sanded pine like it isn't even there. I highly recommend one if already invested in red!
Looks pretty nice, but I hang my hat next to the Milwaukee M12 jigsaw right now. Plenty of power, good weight distribution, and holds a charge admirably. That being said, I do use Bosch blades in it though. :-)

What's better between bosch,12v n Milwaukee 12v when it comes to durability.
Anyone know what the battery life (run time) in minutes on this would be at 75% max speed with continuous use?
I'm planning on adding a lacrosse ball attachment, and using it as a jig massager for sports medicine.

Not bad for 12v
How would you compare it to the Milwaukee M12 jigsaw? I currently have the Milwaukee and it's a dog. Slow, sluggish, and awkward. I was thinking of switching to Bosch's 12v line as I'm not too invested yet (drill, fuel impact, jigsaw) and I don't want to regret anything.
Joe Riley I would saw its about the same, 12V jigsaws are not going to produce a lot of power.

New for 2015, compare tools including build quality. For example most of the cheap finish nailers sold at big box stores are junk. Show people what they get for the money.
