Good job! You might want to take a look at the TPR valve. There appears to be a PEX fitting which is an insert fitting which reduces the flow from the Temperature Pressure Relieve valve. That could be a code violation. Otherwise, interesting presentation. Also interesting that none of the water pipes are insulated. Don't they lose heat that way?
thanks I will look into that !!!
When your condensation drain was frozen, did you experience any damage or maintenance you had to perform? I think the same thing recently happened to mine, and it’s been doing this hum/ringing ever since.
Where do you have yours located and how big is the areas? have you noticed a temperature drop? I’m thinking about putting one on my 2 car garage. I’m Just wondering if it would help with the heat
it tends to cool down the space a good bet but usually only when you're actually having water heated also it would depend on how insulated the garage is.
Is this model rated for noise, what is the decibel level it makes?
Have you actually measured the current draw? With a meter I.e. killawatt?
No …he has this neat thing called a “ hydro bill” that shows what he was spending on hydro compared to ..wait for it …what he’s spending now with this installed …
I know this sounds crazy, but if one wants to be even more efficient, they should make refrigerator/water heater all in one unit.
How many kw did it consume in a month? $5.50 doesn't help as we don't know how much you pay for electricity.
He noted he is in KY in another video. About .13kwh average there. So 42-43 kwh.
It’s water heater not a hot water heater.
