How does one pray to Padre Pio, I mean do you simply ask him for him to ask God for you ? Do you just talk to him ? I am a sinner, and I know stories of him when he was in confession simply closing the confessional curtain on people. I am a sinner, and at times I feel like God has abandoned me. That Padre Pio will close the curtain on me as well if I pray to him. I am a sinner asking Padre Pio for his friendship, for his intercession. I hate asking for help with my health issues and emotional health when so many others deserve help over me .

Iv known about Padre Pio for many years since I was 19 or 20 yrs old, I was very afraid in a old apartment with 2 small children, I called my mom an told her how afraid I was, an she said don’t be afraid I’ll send Padre Pio to you we hung up, I went to my room an I felt him there, I fell to my knees and prayed an a great since of peace came over me, an I was able to sleep I always remembered him, but no one was talking about him then but my thoughts always went to him, an I was never afraid again at night.

Padre Pio told an American soldier during WWII, “When the war is over and you return to the United States, tell the American people that for those who would like me to be their spiritual father, my answer is yes. I accept all Americans as my spiritual children. I only have two requirements-that they lead very good Catholic lives and that they regularly receive the sacraments.” St. Padre Pio, pray for us!

Please do not forget the experience Padre Pío had concerning the pain on his right shoulder. This wound was the most painful he experienced, according to his own words.

At the time I was required to do a book report for my 10th grade public-school English class, & as the Padre Pio biography was not on the approved list, I sought & was granted special permission to do my report on that. I experienced several healings from Padre Pio. First was right after attending the Holy Mass at Padre Pio Chapel. Back then I was suffering from a swollen wrist that I couldn't even touch it because it was too painful. Father Chris I was so excited to see this talk today!! My husband and I just came into the church last year and I chose Padre Pio as my patron saint. Our sweet priest got mixed up and gave my husband Padre Pio as his patron saint too haha. Im 25 but have been sick many years with Lyme disease, mold toxicity and other issues. I wasnt healed all at once but I have great hope Im being healed one step at a time! I feel the best I have in years and have made good progress in treatment. I really believe Padre Pio was praying and suffering for mine and my husbands conversion. We had grown up so lukewarm in our protestant faith and were so far from God, we had so many miracles along the way. Our Lady had a very special hand in it all. Our lives are still being changed and healed through the sacraments, so very thankful! 🤍 Your talks are such a blessing Father, God bless!

I was born and raised Catholic; went to a Catholic school run by nuns since kindergarten but it’s only now, watching your talks that made me understand clearly the doctrines and practices of the church. Please do not forget the experience Padre Pío had concerning the pain on his right shoulder. This wound was the most painful he experienced, according to his own words.

I first encountered Padre Pio ~1976 as a high school sophomore. My parents had had a subscription to Readers' Digest, & at some point that included receiving periodic biographical books the company produced. I found among them a book on Padre Pio & was intrigued. At the time I was required to do a book report for my 10th grade public-school English class, & as the Padre Pio biography was not on the approved list, I sought & was granted special permission to do my report on that. Bonus: I believe I got an "A" on that assignment! Bigger BONUS: I was forever captivated by Padre Pio!!! Thank you, Fr. Alar for another wonderful presentation. Padre Pio makes my heart happy!

I felt a pain in my shoulder while praying the shoulder stigmata prayer. On Tour in Afghanistan and Kosovo, Maria helped me through these harder times.
Thank you once again Fr. Alar and I will pray the prayer to the wound of Jesus’ shoulder wound. I am going to work on becoming devoted to St. Padre Pio. You have helped me so much in my religious life that I can’t even say. I went to confession and told things I believed would go to grace with me. Now I have to work on going to church every week. I have been scared since I did that confession. I also want to do regular confessions that you lead us through on First Friday’s and First Saturday’s. I also don’t believe I would have made it through the deaths of my grandson, my daughter, my sister, and my mother if I had not been learning our faith through you and Fr. Thank you, Padre Pio is one of my Heavenly friends who walks with me daily. His love for Mary made him such a powerful vessel for God and so compassionate to save souls.
I experienced several healings from Padre Pio. First was right after attending the Holy Mass at Padre Pio Chapel. Back then I was suffering from a swollen wrist that I couldn't even touch it because it was too painful. The next morning after the mass I was surprised to see that the swelling and pain are both gone! Thank you, Padre Pio!

I’m very grateful Fr. Chris for the beautiful sharing of Padre Pio’s life, his stigmata and miraculous deeds. They were all great and left a vivid memory in my life. But, the most precious moment for me is when he officiated the Mass. I was so captivated by his looks as he gazed on the chalice. I felt a tender exchanged of love between him and Jesus, they know each other very well. Oh, how I desire such intimate union with Jesus, but only when I’m completely detached from the world to have my Lord, Thank you, Fr. Chris. God bless us.

Father Chris I was so excited to see this talk today!! My husband and I just came into the church last year and I chose Padre Pio as my patron saint. Our sweet priest got mixed up and gave my husband Padre Pio as his patron saint too haha. Im 25 but have been sick many years with Lyme disease, mold toxicity and other issues. I wasnt healed all at once but I have great hope Im being healed one step at a time! I feel the best I have in years and have made good progress in treatment. I really believe Padre Pio was praying and suffering for mine and my husbands conversion. We had grown up so lukewarm in our protestant faith and were so far from God, we had so many miracles along the way. Our Lady had a very special hand in it all. Our lives are still being changed and healed through the sacraments, so very thankful! 🤍 Your talks are such a blessing Father, God bless!

I pray to him for his intercession and remember his saying that the rosary is our weapon against evil. I deeply feel adoration and respect for him. I Thank the Lord Jesus Christ for him.
