How does one pray to Padre Pio, I mean do you simply ask him for him to ask God for you ?
Do you just talk to him ?
I am a sinner, and I know stories of him when he was in confession simply closing the confessional curtain on people.
I am a sinner, and at times I feel like God has abandoned me.
That Padre Pio will close the curtain on me as well if I pray to him.
I am a sinner asking Padre Pio for his friendship, for his intercession.
I hate asking for help with my health issues and emotional health when so many others deserve help over me .

You are not alone but we are blessed to be Catholic and to have the gifts of the sacraments, so I would recommend confession.
My sister bought me a St Pio candle and it has this prayer, perhaps it may help you;
Oh Jesus, full of Grace and charity,

As I comment here, it is 9/23/2021, the feast day of Padre Pio and the sixth anniversary of the death of my spouse, Cynthia Alexa who died of cancer. Please pray for her soul and all those who have died of cancer. May she Rest In Peace. Padre Pio watch over Cynthia. Help her into heaven.

Iv known about Padre Pio for many years since I was 19 or 20 yrs old, I was very afraid in a old apartment with 2 small children, I called my mom an told her how afraid I was, an she said don’t be afraid I’ll send Padre Pio to you we hung up, I went to my room an I felt him there, I fell to my knees and prayed an a great since of peace came over me, an I was able to sleep I always remembered him, but no one was talking about him then but my thoughts always went to him, an I was never afraid again at night.
I think Jesus wound caused a disconnect of his shoulder. Shocking. The shroud showed a enlonged arm. Slight but there.
Listening again on his feast day in 2023.

I was a single mother pregnant and was very worried bc was not financially able, no house no money no friends that could help. the baby dad was on drug and wanted me to abort the baby, and he just meant a younger girlfriend. I dreamt JP2 smiling brightly with me at his side and Padre Pio holding me by the hand as I was falling off the balcony. now my son is 16 and reads the bible daily not much but does read The Word. please pray for us Father Chris.thank you Lord for the Holy Angels!

I have a great devotion to Padre Pio, so thank you so much for this, Father Chris. There are so many amazing stories about him! You mentioned the sacraments. Padre Pio told an American soldier during WWII, “When the war is over and you return to the United States, tell the American people that for those who would like me to be their spiritual father, my answer is yes. I accept all Americans as my spiritual children. I only have two requirements-that they lead very good Catholic lives and that they regularly receive the sacraments.”

Jesus woke me up at 4:30am and suddenly I found your talk Father Chris about Padre Pío. I had the grace to see the Shroud of Turin this recent last time that it was shown. The wound of carrying of the cross by Our Lord is on the Shroud!! You can see the wood splinters on the Shroud and His precious blood!
When I became Catholic at age 27 in 1988, the first two Saints that I fell in love with were none other than St. Faustina and Padre Pio. This was NO accident, I'm sure!!! Happy Feast Day, St. Pio!! Thank you Lord, for this inspiring Saint!! 💞🙏😇 St. Pio, Pray for us!! 🥰

Please do not forget the experience Padre Pío had concerning the pain on his right shoulder. This wound was the most painful he experienced, according to his own words.
I asked Padre Pio in 1993 to be my spiritual father and he appeared to my son in a dream, and gave him a very long sword to fight the fallen angels flying above him, on the hilt of the sword, it was crystal and carved in the hilt was the Last Supper! the hilt was crystal and very brilliant...

I felt a pain in my shoulder while praying the shoulder stigmata prayer. On Tour in Afghanistan and Kosovo, Maria helped me through these harder times.
The story at the end about the military leader and other military persons who went to see and meet Padre Pio, brought me to tears with a stronger conviction of how holy a person who totally gives himself to Almighty God, can be a salvatic blessing to us all. ✝️

Thank you once again Fr. Alar and I will pray the prayer to the wound of Jesus’ shoulder wound. I am going to work on becoming devoted to St. Padre Pio. You have helped me so much in my religious life that I can’t even say. I went to confession and told things I believed would go to grace with me. Now I have to work on going to church every week. I have been scared since I did that confession. I also want to do regular confessions that you lead us through on First Friday’s and First Saturday’s. I also don’t believe I would have made it through the deaths of my grandson, my daughter, my sister, and my mother if I had not been learning our faith through you and Fr. I experienced several healings from Padre Pio. First was right after attending the Holy Mass at Padre Pio Chapel. Back then I was suffering from a swollen wrist that I couldn't even touch it because it was too painful. The next morning after the mass I was surprised to see that the swelling and pain are both gone! Thank you, Padre Pio!

I first encountered Padre Pio ~1976 as a high school sophomore. My parents had had a subscription to Readers' Digest, & at some point that included receiving periodic biographical books the company produced. I found among them a book on Padre Pio & was intrigued. At the time I was required to do a book report for my 10th grade public-school English class, & as the Padre Pio biography was not on the approved list, I sought & was granted special permission to do my report on that. Bonus: I believe I got an "A" on that assignment! Bigger BONUS: I was forever captivated by Padre Pio!!! Thank you, Fr. Alar for another wonderful presentation. Padre Pio makes my heart happy!

Hello father Chris and may God continue to richly bless you for all you do for him in his name, you bless a lot of people through your services. I will like to let you know a true blessing I had when I was 19 years old. I had went to the doctors because of being in so much pain, I was told I had to have my Appendix removed. That night when I went to sleep the Beautiful Blessed Mother came to me and said to me my child of little faith fear not my son will be with you, my child of little faith fear not my son is always with you, my child of little faith fear not my son is with you. Than she asked me to purchase her and a tall glass white candle. She told me to place her in the living room with the glass white candle in front of her, and the night before I go into the hospital to light the candle and she will pray the novena for my healing for nine days and nine nights and my wound will heal. But not too allow anyone next to the candle, and she told me when I arrived home the candle will still be burning. That on the nineth night the last day of the Novina the light of the candle will go out. Well this child of little faith bought one of those glass candles and it only stayed lit for there days. I still have her. She is so very Beautiful her face shine like a beautiful brite star.

Father Chris I was so excited to see this talk today!! My husband and I just came into the church last year and I chose Padre Pio as my patron saint. Our sweet priest got mixed up and gave my husband Padre Pio as his patron saint too haha. Im 25 but have been sick many years with Lyme disease, mold toxicity and other issues. I wasnt healed all at once but I have great hope Im being healed one step at a time! I feel the best I have in years and have made good progress in treatment. I really believe Padre Pio was praying and suffering for mine and my husbands conversion. We had grown up so lukewarm in our protestant faith and were so far from God, we had so many miracles along the way. Our Lady had a very special hand in it all. Our lives are still being changed and healed through the sacraments, so very thankful! 🤍 Your talks are such a blessing Father, God bless!

One other miracle was when mom was ill with asthma.I was little when I saw her breaking the glass framed picture of Padre Pio to retrieve the relic of a tiny fragment of the bandage cloth that she got from a friend who visited Italy.She quickly swallowed this relic and was fully healed.

I’m very grateful Fr. Chris for the beautiful sharing of Padre Pio’s life, his stigmata and miraculous deeds. They were all great and left a vivid memory in my life. But, the most precious moment for me is when he officiated the Mass. I was so captivated by his looks as he gazed on the chalice. I felt a tender exchanged of love between him and Jesus, they know each other very well. What a fascinating Saint Padre Pio is. Some friends and I were discussing him this afternoon so as long as I shared it with them, I thought I would listen again. I actually have been enjoying many of the early talks they never get old. God bless you Father Chris.

St Pio is one awesome saint! I was at the National Shrine of St Pio in Barto, PA before it was consecrated and many times after. The family picked that property because it was as close to how it looked where St Giovanni Rotunda was located. You will love it! You will know it is sacred ground!!
They have in their museum St. Pio’ s car, a replica of how his cell looked, and many other personal items of St Pio. In addition, you will see in the museum St JP II’s Chalice of the one he used at the Mass celebrating St Pio’s sainthood in Rome. It’s a masterpiece. What a gift of Faith this beautiful place is. I encourage all who can, go. Your soul will be nourished by Christ’s Peace, His Love and Mercy. Without a doubt, your Prayers will be answered then or in time.

Veronica Namonga : thank you for everything Rev. Fr. Chris. Please continue praying for my daughter Nachongo suffering from neurological problems endlessly for years. Florence, be friend of mine suffering from anemia from time to time, and Elijah my son suffering from substance and beer effects. Grace my grand child to belong to some church and have sense of respect for her parents.
I pray the same for my daughter and granddaughter who are away from the church. My daughter suffers from IBS, and my granddaughter needs to go to church again. Love and blessings to you! 💜🙏💜
