    Knowing your blink range is crucial for Tracer. Melee + blink, pulse bomb + blink, knowing how many blinks you need to pulse bomb the target who’s far back, etc. That comes with experience with playing her. The more you play her, the more you get the feel of her kit especially her blinks.
    ❤️Thanks for the guide Kabaji. You’re my favorite Tracer player to watch and to learn from❤️

  • @Ren21727

    Not even kidding. When he kinda broke it down to the logic behind the pulse bombs. Like the simple way he said blink pulse is the same as blink melee and how it comes from right side, my brain legit just opened up and all those insane sticks not only seem possible but actually to easy now. I'm super adept at blink melees but never thought to apply the same movement to my pulse bombs and can't believe how obvious it was...

  • @user-rq7cg1xj5e
    @user-rq7cg1xj5e 4 ปีที่แล้ว

    This is awesome. Right now I am focusing on two things: setting up proper distance from enemies to get max control over my aim, and pulse bomb accuracy which this video addresses several of those pulsebomb related questions.

    Cabbage you're dope! One of the biggest pulse bomb tips I've learned from you is that you're never afraid to use the pulse bomb. It's easy to get an ultimate up and then be afraid to not use it in case you miss & waste it. I notice on the streams that you will always use the pulse bomb when you can & not save it for the "perfect opportunity". I do that too now & even if I miss, it's okay because it was a good attempt. Trying to make an opportunity happen is a lot better than waiting for the "perfect pulse bomb" because that probably doesn't even exist lol. Love the streams dude! A guide for pulse on every hero would be great!

    • @HoFBdan
      @HoFBdan 4 ปีที่แล้ว +8

      One thing I learned from watching him and Dafran is always blink forward or backwards never side to side because it’s easy to track but if you pop up behind them they have to turn all the way around then you blink back and shoot them while they turn around and try to shoot you

    • @user-ce6cl8wg3r
      @user-ce6cl8wg3r 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      For people who have to one shot flick (hanzo, widowmaker, Ashe etc.) move left to right really fast and short and crouch to change the level your head is on. For tracking heroes longer cut strafes work. Just keep in mind who you’re fighting and which type of movement to use.

    a mini tip that I can give you, and I've seen kabaji do it on stream, is that if you have around 98% of ur ultimate you can hold Q (or shift if you already changed it) and quick melee the enemy this should fill that 2% and insta stick the enemy.
    (Not sure how to explain it but that's the idea :b)

I find the hardest thing for me at the moment is getting the blink+melee combo done, I spent a bit of time practicing on the range and it went fine. When it came to real games, quickplay and comp I could hardly hit anyone and I always end up missing.

    • @Swordhero111
      @Swordhero111 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      It helps to watch your blinks before you go in. Just know if you double blink, you likely won’t have an escape. You will have to recall. Don’t just blink whenever. Blink for position into space that is safer or will net you a kill. The standard clip blink clip blink should allow you to stay blinking for a while as they refresh while you shoot.

    Here’s a piece of missing info. Kabaji stops moving for a second before a pulse bomb because in that second of not moving the enemy is still moving. In their movement you can gauge the 7 meter blink range.
    That’s why in freshnut clips, a top 500 hundred tracer will stand still for 5 seconds and instantly pulse bomb and 1v1 duel when both players are memeing.
    A easy way of practicing this and to gradually minimize the time in which you hit pulse bombs is to always take your time to hit the flick pulse bombs. Doesn’t matter about how fast you initiate the pulse bomb. It’s about you sticking it properly.
    Disclaimer: Kabaji is a tracking god and practices these insane flicks based on hours of muscle memory lifts.

    hey kabaji this video guide is great although I knew a lot of this stuff (with 300 hrs of tracer on console). I've struggled to get used to pc controls especially tracer with 1v1. A lot of tracer to being able to win is to out blink/outplay the enemy tracer. I find it super difficult to blink to the direction I wanna go consistently with using shift. Such as i wanna blink back from strafing by pressing s and shift at the same time, but results in a 45 degree blink. In console, the only advantage it had over pc was the flexibility of movement with the joystick (especially tracer). Other than that I was struggling with aim readjustment in pc but I think that is just from more practice. Ty for making that video have a good day.
