meravigliosa musica Barocca! È un balsamo per il cuore. Non smetterei mai di ascoltarla. Grazie a tutti questi musicisti.
THIS IS THE MUSIQUE .....CELESTE ....FOR THE FATHER , END THE SUN JESUS ❤ CHRIST AND THE HOLY GHOST .....CONGRATULATIONS FOR THIS ....AMIN ALLELUJAH OSANA MARANATA ....
Ensemble Inegal has released a CD of the Psalmi Vespertini. TH-cam "master" Xanaseb says, essentially, it is a "must have". He explains that Zelenka Psam settings are to Zelenka roughly what the cantatas are to Bach. In my opinion, the cantatas are Bach's most important work because his main composing job at Leipzig was to prepare a cantata each week. I checked: it became available in the US on Amazon two days ago...MP3 only, so no background notes and not artwork. This artwork, STIANVF, is superb! Your notes are vital.
Here is the main site to order it (If you haven't already done so) (I'm sure Amazon will follow at some point): www.nibiru-publishers.com/detail/jan-dismas-zelenka-psalmi-vespertini-i-1/?p=tech . Cheers for the compliment! I might be a bit over-extravagant in drawing a comparison with Bach's cantatas - but there is a parallel nevertheless. On the above link: Scroll down past the Czech and you get some great notes from Jan Stockigt that are on the CD booklet :)
My goodness how I love this composer! If I had to choose a different career I would definitely do music and specialize in Baroque music just so I can have a more in-depth understanding of Zelenka, Bach, Vivaldi and all the other amazing baroque composers.

You left out; Fasch, Walther, Lotti (It), and maybe a few others, and I'm not certain Schutz would be considered Baroque except for his very late works.Oh and there were two Scarlatti's that fit into the Baroque.
Yes, extraordinary cycle, which confirms the stature of Zelenka as one of the greatest composers of choral music of the first half of the 18th century. I think the Dixit, Beatus Vir, Laudate Pueri and Magnificat are sung by Schola Cantorum Melbourne - thanks for drawing my attention on that rare recording, I was lucky to find THE cheap offer on Amazon and immediately bought it - , I am supposing that the Confitebor is the Wehnert version on Carus FSM that was never reissued to CD. I haven't searched who sung the In Exitu Israel (is it the old 1972 recording with the Kuhn Choir ?), but too bad the sound is so bad on that one. I haven't heard yet the De Profundis. It might be of use to the listeners to know that Confitebor starts at 16:26 / Beatus 32:50 / Laudate 43:36 / In Exitu 50:21 / Magnificat 1:01:48 and De Profundis 1:12:21.
+witoldbayerquest thanks a lot for your search and contribute for good information concerning the origin of the different parts of this clip. My best regards Anders
+witoldbayerquest Hi, great comment - The In Exitu Israel Zwv 83 is, believe it or not, an early recording of Collegium 1704, performing it in May, 2007! The terrible audio make them sound a bit like from the 70s or 80s indeed. By the way, if you were unaware: Ensemble Inégal have just recently performed and recorded the whole of this 1st Vespers Psalm Cycle, and it will be released some time this Winter, perhaps even in time for Christmas! (on my shopping list ;) )

Grazie a te. Zelenka dovrebbe essere molto più conosciuto!

Me Toooo....jn
Lucky me... dedicating myself to this very thing, and this very composer specifically - working on a complete urtext edition of his works.
De no haber sido por las sugerencias de TH-cam, nunca me hubiera encontrado con Zelenka y su magnífica obra. Gracias mil, TH-cam :D
thanks so much for this upload! Wonderful to hear these together in a proper cycle, some of which I had never encountered before :D.

Rigtig kirkesang af både munke og nonner. Smukt......
Amen !!
I want to sing that "Amen" of In exitu Israel, at 59:15!!!
Man, it sounds like early 12-tone!
Strasznie dołujące, co tu można lubić?
Ludus tonalis 200 years earlier.

miracoloso!!!

For what medieval illustration? It is XVIII century musik.
Who is performing this?
Mein Kommentar gilt für dieses Werk, nicht das folgende.
