9:14 The cryptic annelid should finish all scrys before the galadriel triggers go on the stack. The way it was played had galadriel triggers interrupting the annelid etb.
True! Also immediately on the next turn, CGB makes cursed mirror a copy of wall of omens, but then taps it for mana despite "wall of omens" not having the mana effect until the end of the turn.
10:25 Cursed mirror: While it is copying a creature, Cursed Mirror does not have "Tap: Add Red" (unless the creature it's copying also has that ability).
The Dunedain Rangers has an "intervening if" so the ring-bearer must be gone before the land enters the battlefield. So make sure to sacrifice the Bloodghast in response to the Smeagol trigger for the loop.
I just love when Ben hosts, and I'm not really sure why. I like seeing everyone's different styles but Ben's never fails to put a big smile on my face. Maybe I'm just a Ben stan.
I told CGB straight up when I met him at commandfest Orlando that Ben was my favorite 😭😭 He looked me in the eye and said Ben is everyone's favorite 😂 absolutely one of the best days of my life by far.
Galadriels triggers would have stayed on the stack until after the three scry spell resolved. It would not take place in the middle of that spells resolution.
Can we acknowledge cgb and how much of a savage he is. Shea did all of that on her end step and he swept everyone up with literally 1 card left in deck. Lmaoo
Finally! A Galadriel player that knows how to pilot it 😂. Deck is very cool! With how big it ramps, stuff like Finale of devastation comes out very quickly😊
@CovertGoCrew: I don't know if anyone has caught this, but Cryptic Annelid's ETB has to finish _before_ any of Galadriel's triggers resolve. The reason this happens this way is the following: First, all of Cryptic Annelid's ETB effect, once it begins resolving, must resolve fully before anything else resolves on the stack. This means that while Galadriel's triggered ability triggers 3 times, all 3 triggers will wait to go on the stack and resolve after the next time state-based effects are checked. Only then do each trigger of Galadriel's triggered ability go on stack and resolve. What this means in English is, the three scry abilities happen first. When each scry happens, Galadriel triggers for each. Then, each triggered ability of Galadriel resolves 3 times in a row, once for each instance of scry of the Cryptic Annelid. The basic rule is, once an ability begins resolving, it cannot be interrupted whatsoever until it is finished resolving. Thus, you can't get part of an ability resolved, resolve another ability in the middle of the first one, and then resume resolving the first ability. The stack does not work like that.
What was weird is that he kind of knew this, but seemed to ignore it when it wasn't convenient: at 9:30 he says "I'll get triggers but that doesn't happen until all of this is taken care of" regarding his Field of the Dead, but that's exactly the logic he's ignoring for Galadriel's trigger. Great game otherwise, just weird
I was going to let the crypid mistake fly, but its worse that you actually explained how resolving a trigger correctly works when it was for FotD, but then played it wrong with the scry triggers with your commander.
If Ben couldn't get the win on his turn, CGB could force the win on his upkeep if he activated Loran before he drew his last card. Forcing them both to draw a card while Ben had none and CGB had one card remaining.
I may be wrong but Shea making her nazgul the ring bearer makes it legendary so playing the second one should trigger the legend rule and one immediately dies.
You are, the legend rule only applies when you control multiple legendary permanents with the same name. If one is legendary and one is not nothing happens (Irenicus's Vile Duplication wouldn't work otherwise)

34:30 tatyova has hexproof from Bombadil Song
Glad you called that out, I didn’t catch it at 1st. Was the moment I was like whoa that seems strong! Simic def doent need another busted card lol.
@@PoppaNerfCursed Mirror gives the copied creature haste.
@@janm8738 That's not the point. When it turns into wall of omens, it no longer has "{T}: add {R}"
10:25 Cursed mirror: While it is copying a creature, Cursed Mirror does not have "Tap: Add Red" (unless the creature it's copying also has that ability).
Great video as always, really liked Blake's deck, but CGB couldn't have targeted the tatyova as Bombadils song gave it hexproof as well as +1/+1
And on the next turn he played 2 lands (Path of Ancestry and Sacred Foundry)
I think he also missed the esper sentinel trigger from bombadils song? Unless I missed it I mightve I'm tired.
I was about to comment the hexproof thing lol
34:25 tatyova still has hexproof from the protection spell.
That's what I thought
I was thinking this at well.
Love shea's face at the end while cgb was losing off all the keywords.
The Dunedain Rangers has an "intervening if" so the ring-bearer must be gone before the land enters the battlefield. So make sure to sacrifice the Bloodghast in response to the Smeagol trigger for the loop.
He made that scry deck look super fun! Love the synergy’s.
I just love when Ben hosts, and I'm not really sure why. I like seeing everyone's different styles but Ben's never fails to put a big smile on my face. Maybe I'm just a Ben stan.
Ben is too wholesome 😁
I told CGB straight up when I met him at commandfest Orlando that Ben was my favorite 😭😭 He looked me in the eye and said Ben is everyone's favorite 😂 absolutely one of the best days of my life by far.
Shea's deck was amazing! Truly a preciousssss game
Galadriels triggers would have stayed on the stack until after the three scry spell resolved. It would not take place in the middle of that spells resolution.
What a ridiculous, fun game!! Can't believe how the ending turned out after all that happened! Great game!!
I am two minutes into this episode, and there is exactly one thing I want this episode.
And that... is Sigiled Starfish.
With cryptic Analid, galdr8al triggers 3 times after all the scrys are finished not after each one
Also at 34:20 doesn't tatyova have hexproof?
@10:50 CGB taps the cursed mirror to cast a spell, but it is a copy of wall of omens so it doesn't have the "tap: add red" text.
Awesome decks! I was really thinking Shea had it there 😂 good ol’ Akroma’s Will…
My one regret is that Ben didn't crack the clue during CGB's main phase. Then there would've been ZERO cards in ANY libraries!
Didn't Tatyova have hexproof when CGB targeted it with Eoyin?
Can we acknowledge cgb and how much of a savage he is. Shea did all of that on her end step and he swept everyone up with literally 1 card left in deck. Lmaoo
I've got myself a Smeagol deck that I'm always changing. Always taking notes to improve my precious...
I’m confused did they completely skip cgb turn around 15:00?
What a crazy wild ride that game was!! Those sweaty last turns!
Finally! A Galadriel player that knows how to pilot it 😂. Deck is very cool! With how big it ramps, stuff like Finale of devastation comes out very quickly😊
I can't be the only one that was sad that they did not reveal the card in CGB's deck

sheas landfall thing was prettyy cool! love to see the new combos!!
Man, I love when ben is the host. It's always a treat.
at 34:40 the tatyova had hexproof from the bombadil’s song and shouldn’t have been able to be exiled
Shea with the Teenage Bottlerocket shirt! I knew she was my favorite but this solidified it
Ben is currently 90% of the strength of the fellowship
CGB saying "Oh, you're done?" is the most pot/kettle shit I've seen
I've been wanting to build this galadriel. Going to copy blake's deck!
One of my favorite decks I’ve built in awhile!
CoverGoGlue? Lol! I caught that on the intro. Good game as always!
I was going to let the crypid mistake fly, but its worse that you actually explained how resolving a trigger correctly works when it was for FotD, but then played it wrong with the scry triggers with your commander.
Where did cgb get that shirt? So cool
I feel like the guys always politic basically every play and Shea just sits there lol
She would have had to sac her Bloodghast in reaction to her first trigger but I assume you just ignored that slight missplay.
she sac. the Nazgul?
Oh my god a Teenage Bottlerocket, I mean we already had a nerd crush lols
I think this video might be a record for most rules errors on the shows.
Hexproof Tatyova was target exiled :(
I also noticed this..
Yes, I also noticed the Bombadil's Song giving Hexproof
that was the most intense Russian rullet game at the end!! GG's!
At 21 minutes doesn't smegol cost 5? 1BG+2 for commander tax
If Ben couldn't get the win on his turn, CGB could force the win on his upkeep if he activated Loran before he drew his last card. Forcing them both to draw a card while Ben had none and CGB had one card remaining.
Sheas fully tempted ring pings all opponents for 3 each successful combat phase.
Tatyova has hexproof, cant be exiled
4:55 CovertGoGlue? Lmao
Tatyova had hexproof....thats so saddening lol i get it, its easy to lose track....but that blows. Fantastic game though 👍
At the beginning of the video, did Ben repeatedly forget to draw a card at the beginning of his turn? 5:50 6:20
Can you tap cursed mirror if it becomes a copy of a creature?
No
that’s what I thought
@@haunterisghost The card has haste. it comes as a copy of another creature with the added ability of tapping for red. SO yes, it has haste.
@@albertoosorio4630 it loses the tap for red if it becomes a copy of a creature.
@@haunterisghost you are correct that doesn’t gain the “tap for red” ability.
Tatiyova still had Hexproof From Bombadil's Gift when Eowyn entered...

Awesome twist love this ep
What was the last card? and how is it not the card of the game? How can you not tell us...
Did you mean Akroma's Will?
nooooooo, this one was for Shea, this lucky CGB 🤣🤣
Blake making cgb shake with the other hand is the content i came here to see
A very very commander game. Good stuff.
I need to put that land combo in my landfall deck
How is so much landfall played on this channel? Lol goodness
Greetings from Argentina, I love your show!
Shea’s deck is so fun !!!
That Smeagol loop is sooooo boring for the other players and you don't even get to win, besides that nice game! 👍
love u guys, great video as aways!
Wouldn’t be easier for Ben play Presence of Gond with midnight Guard 💂♀️
That was a fun game! 😁
Thanks for the great, fun content
lol@CovertGoGlue in the intro.
Nazgul also has deathtouch
One of the best games so far!
cgb is the great instigator !
Oh c'mon! Shea deserved that victory
Teenage bottlerocket 🤘
Seriously you guys are cool
So much better. I tried to watch live as I usually do, but my brain couldn’t take it.
Also pretty sure the benthic Druid had hexproof until end of turn when she was targeted for exile.
Smeagol! Smeagol! Smeagol!
love that golem deck. sheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
No, you’re cool!
Erm... didnt Shea get married as of the last video? Did she keep her maiden name? It still says Shea Stokes in the credits.
I think CGB was just alluding to her character as Arwen and the card Aragorn and Arwen, Newly Wed
Shea was robbed man!
Can smeagol trigger multiple times?
😀
CGB is so cringy. Love the guy. Makes great plays. Very knowledgeable. But his demeanor when winning or losing tends to be a sore one.
First
Blackwashed
Why is Eowyn black?
Woke
