I am preparing my C1 English exam... trying to do my best, listening to every OV that I could... however, as you well- said, is not a simple thing, but we should have to do it every single day.💆
Hi Mónica! I love the way you speak.... I like to listen to Vaughan Radio while doing my chores and so on. It has many interesting and interactive programs, I feel like my listening skills are improving little by little. I'd encourage anyone to do this. It is fun!

Great tips Cristina Vaughan Radio is a great one, thanks for commenting!
I enjoy listening to the BBC learning English, especially their Facebook page and also the 6 minutes English web page. I like to download the audios files, save them in a USB drive and listen to them while I commute to work although I don’t travel to work so much because it’s summer holidays. The 6 minutes English program it’s a short podcast (as it’s named it only lasts for 6 minutes) about interesting current issues which emphasizes on new vocabulary.

Lola Enríquez love those!!!! Great sites and podcasts to practice with🥰🥰and yes, driving is the perfect moment to practice English!
Thanks a bunch for this video. My problem normally is regarding my concentration and focussing during the listening, I can get easily distracted. I've tried to listen with closed eyes to avoid making any visual contact, then I've tried to look to a spot on the wall, in short, I have to keep trying to find a useful technique to stay focused.

Thank you for your comment. Yes, you're totally right. One has to find the right technique to have laser focus. For me, it works really well covering my eyes and also takes notes at the same time of listening, but everyone is different and you will have to find out which is the best for you. Good luck!
Thank you for your explanation, I got some importan tips. I practice with an app of listening in british. Also I bought a book of listening, it is not so easy because It has diferentets accents, I know that It is importante. I am doing my best, I hope to improve. Have a good one!

Hi Freddy!! Fantastic options, may I ask what app you use?

Suerte!
I greatly enjoy listening to the Talk radio Europe station. It discusses current issues, conflicts and reports on news and everything spoken in English.what's more, I feel on the Seven Heaven when I am able to understand and follow the listenings!!! Jeje

Listening is a marathon, not a sprint, it's clear, but I really appreciate your tips for this part of the exam. I think they'll help me when it comes to the crunch.

Hello, does someone knows any tip to pass the fill in the gaps exercise, writing down the words without loosing the track of the audio? Thanks I find very difficult to write at the same time that I’m listening.😅
2 ปีที่แล้ว
Hello Índiga! I know what you mean, listening, reading and writing at the same time is quite challenging. What I suggest doing is of course, reading all the questions carefully before the audio begins, underlining the most important words. Then you can try to listen to the audio without looking at the questions, and simply take notes of the most relevant infor on the side. That way , you will not get distracted. And finally and most importantly, do many, many exercises to practice. Good luck!
@ thank you ☺️ I had my certification exams last Wednesday, and they actually had the consideration of stopping the audio 5 secs for me ( as they knew I need more time to write ) so there was no problem 😉 I caught 8 or 9 gaps out of 12 so I am happy with that ☺️

Thanks Monica! But sometimes we have not time enough to read the paper carefully. I mean, in certification exams for example. That's my worried!!!
I know Nereida, that sucks! That is why it's important to practice reading fast. download past papers and practice reading it as fast as you can.

Hi! this year we´ll have only two listening oportunities in the exam not three :( so we have to tune the ear :P
V _ yes, the first time listen and take notes of general ideas and then the second time, narrow it down and check that the answers are right.
Listening is not a marathon... Writing, the same... And the use of English...😅
Dear Mónica, you're accent sound kinda American, is that so?
Be safe& stay healthy
HI Salvador! Yes, you are right, although I lived in England, I am quite influenced by TV shows, movies and American programmes, so maybe that's why!
Si te entendemos todo el vídeo, que nivel de inglés tendremos?
Hello Ana Isabel, I would say B2 or higher 🥳
@ muchas gracias!! Mañana tengo examen listening de B1 y salí súper contenta de tu vídeo porque lo entendí genial🥰🥰
