Do we say "I can't afford to buy a house" or "I can't afford buying a house"?

I do believe, that you know a proverb "Repetitio est mater studiorum"; if not, it's absolutely recognizable for you. So, I decided to refresh my memory after 10-12 days of learning verbs, which require G., and verbs, requiring to In. And...my result was miserable. It's means the only one thing, I believe. This subject requires much more time and patience than the term mentioned above, no matter how sharp and absorbing someone's memory is. So, your method of teaching isn't wrong or just inappropriate; it's much more time consuming than many other subjects of learning foreign language. So, I should be patient and keep going.

Thank you for the lesson. About the Since verb, are there two subjects in a sentence ? Is the ing verb followed by the second subject?

Why shopping is in ing form?
In example 7: I needed to do the shopping, the main verb is “need”, and it is followed by “to”. “The shopping” acts here as q noun and not as a verb, that is why it has the article “the” in front. I hope it’s clear :-)

Here both "there" work like

2 there is lying a book on the table .
Here both "there" work like

Am I correct. If i am right
Third cases
So when we use this sentence in subordinate clause

Here my question is

Is "There word " working like a
Adverb or introductory.
