Sadly, the story behind the name is an incredibly boring one ... she already had her name decal on her when I bought her so I kept it 😏. Right now as it’s been so long since we’ve been out in her I am often heard singing “Frankie, do you remember me” as I stand on my driveway looking at her listfully in hope that we shall be off on adventures soon. Yes, in answer to your question, the charger worked brilliantly. The battery is now back in the van as the weather has warmed up and I’ve been moving her around to reposition the tyres and stuff.
Great review I use my car battery charger it has a trickle charge setting so charge it up once every couple of months over a few days, I have often thought about getting a smart charger so maybe the time to invest in one.
I have just bought one of these from amazon . You have to be careful with charging batteries as they give off hydrogen gas when charging witch is explosive I would charge it in the shed just incase
Richard Archer I believe it was an amazon purchase. I literally got it when I posted this video and it’s been fantastic all winter. I haven’t left it connected as I haven’t needed to. Just plugged it in from time to time.
Over the winter I plan to change my caravan tyres as they are well over the recommended 5 years old, do you plan to do similar? or would you like me to film it and send across for you to post?

I have one of these i dont trust it at all was giving different readings to others so i thought why ruin a £300+ battery with a £12 charger. Upgrade to a ctek 7 or 10

I bought one of these chargers for 16£ on Amazon , it worked but got super hot , eventually it melted , now use a ctek , you get what you pay for .

lensman2online well this one was certainly cheap enough. Once I saw the price, there didn’t really seem to be a point in doing differently.
Can you use any type of heater (like a small ceramic fan heater) off of a leisure battery?
You can if you are on electric hookup. However, I would be hesitant to do so off grid as it will eat the battery too fast
