I have a 87 RT (#115) and also a 88 RU (#209)... I had bought a brand new original 88 RU back in 1988 (#1212). Sold it after wrecking it. 😢 Still to this day try to re-locate it!
My goodness thats a rare machine. I remember reading about these incredible race ready race/roadbike's in the late 80's. Kudo's for making this historical little monster affordable for us enthueist's 👏🏆
I just want to see it go to someone whom will finish it and enjoy it. Preferably someone who will build a club racer or an endurance road bike like I had planned to build. As long as someone finishes it and enjoys it, both my friend Delbert (original owner) and I will be happy. I’m hoarding to many projects and starting to let go of some to finish others.
