@MrMudsRadioTime Thanks, Mr. Mud! I hope to have a lot of fun with it! The band conditions were junk today. I was getting a lot of noise from a nearby weather station as well.
The X6200 is still pretty new to me. It's definitely a step up from the G90, but only 8 Watts. I've had a lot of fun with my G90 and 20 Watts over the years. I like them both! The X6200 is definitely more feature rich. Great ATU in both!
Good activity : x6200 very good for ssb . Reports are good.. Ricky dog is calm and interested by Sota. I have made a test with X6100 and hope to have a 6200. I have had a KX2 also. I suggest you have a small tablet on your knees for activation : I have it and it is a must for writing . 73 alainf8feo
@tonioyendis4464 Yes, an amateur radio license is required to transmit. You can use it to receive signals to listen without a license. If you're interested in getting your license, check out www.hamstudy.org. They have a great app to study with on your mobile phone too.
What a beautiful view and that rig is great .
@@FubarX Thanks 😊
I can't wait until the band conditions are good!
@@W6IWN_Radio QRP in nature is best

Kick ass on the QRP activation! And France Too!
@@dugbohamradio The band conditions weren't good either. I look forward to playing with it under better band conditions!

Great video. I have been thinking about the 6200 radio or the g90. How are you liking it? KQ4QIS

Is a license required to operate this?

Yes general or extra
If you get any closer to the mike it will be in your mouth!
@skepticalmechanic I don't want to eat Mike, he's my friend!
It looks like cheap chinese smartphone.
I really like the look and features. The screen is awesome!
