Amazing content. This documentary really made me feel like I was riding with you all. The music pulled me in and set the tone for each days ride. Great work. I will be checking out more of your videos now. Beautiful scenery and some hard days in the saddle. Cheers from Montana!

One of the best motorcycle travel videos I have ever seen, and very sorry to hear about the injury. Be safe out there guys.

Great vid guys! my friends and I did almost this same trip back in July 2018 from Washington state on my Yamaha FJR 1300A and their Kawasaki Concours 1000 and KTM 1290. Hwy 20 over the northern Cascades, Hwy 97 to Hwy 2 to eastern WA, south on 195 to Lewiston, ID, then US 12 to Missoula, MT, over Lolo Pass. Then a thousand other roads through Montana, Wyoming and South Dakota to Sturgis and then back home along different routes. My favorite...The Black Hills in SD! What a trip! 3,900 miles in all. Loved the vid and brought back memories of my times on my GL1100 Gold Wing. Made many trips on that thing in the 80s and early 90s including the Beartooth pass. From Louisiana it was a long run but worth every pain. We never stayed inside, all had a lawn chair, their own tent etc. We carried a one burner stove and a small ice box snitching a bit of ice from along the way motels. We had a 12' tarp which was a gift as gave us a place to hang out if raining. MC long trip riding is the best. "The world touches you when you travel without a cage."

Nice thanks for checking out the video. We met a bunch of people from Vancouver Island on our trip. It seems a lot come down to ride the states in the summer. May should be great for the Cascades this year, that way you don't hit 107 temps like us. Bikes and leg doing well. Getting some future trips planned as we speak. Be safe on your trip mate!
A great film, discovered this by accident, (I've subscribed now, no pressure). The footage and music are great, I especially like the commentary over the music, makes it sound like some sort of ambient track by the Orb or Aphex Twin. Looking forward to more trips.
Thanks for checking it out! Was definitely going for that ambient vibe on a lot of the tracks so that's cool you were able to pick that up. The Orb and Aphex Twin rock for sure.
Where do I begin? Although I mainly watched this while I was at work, it certainly was an Amazing trip, well documented, and professional video of the entire trip. BTW, Same thing happened with my friends, Harley his bag fell off on our trip up to Maine, stupid locking design. But we circled back and found it. Glad you enjoyed the video and hopefully it can inspire you to hit the road and make some epic memories of your own! The bear tooth pass area is awesome along with Idaho, Wyoming, and Montana. Also the pacific coast and sierra nevada mountain range are unmatched. Take care and ride safe!
Awesome documentary gentleman. Id love to be able to make a trip like that on my bike but its a HD xl1200ns Sporty and probably not the best bike for a journey like that. I've heard of riders making long distance trips on sporty's, but it just doesn't seem like a doable thing on a smaller bike. I commend you and your pushing through from Rawlings to, Fresno regardless of your personal circumstances. At least it wasn't as bad as it could have been and your ok and healing. Ride safe out there guys, Keep it shiny side up.
Hey thanks for checking out our adventure. Riding a smaller bike definitely has its challenges and can tire you out a lot quicker than a bigger bike. The Kawasaki Versys 650 on this trip was about the smallest bike anywhere we went. It was able to hold 90mph in the high altitude areas, and worked really well on the dirt roads due to its nimble handling. A Sporty might be a bit more difficult though holding speed on long periods and could get exhausting. I always say ride what you got and go for it. That makes an adventure. Legs healing up, and looking forward to doing more long trips in the future.
Thanks for checking out our Adventure. I spend a lot of time on the editing process so the flow of the trip is always moving forward. Glad you got to enjoy it. Keep riding and stay safe out there!
@@shredvisionfilms regarding your end comments/recap, you guys mention experiencing discomfort and the growth that results from big trips. I’ve just started doing interstate trips a few years ago, and being hammered with crazy weather is just part of it you learn to accept. I gotta say the only thing I’ve really learned to hate is Moto touring in high winds. Ive had some bad experiences that now it kinda freaks me out. I’ll cancel a ride or route if high winds forecasts ruin our plans. I can deal with the rest of it (heat, cold, rain), but man do I dislike the high gusty stuff, especially if it’s on a interstate mtn pass with semi trucks flanking me. Sorry about your leg, I can’t imagine how painful that ride home was. You’re a brave trooper for sure. Mad respect. Be safe fellas.
@@RoadtoNowhere73 Yea wind really is the worst element to deal with for sure. In some of my past videos we have documented going through the high desert passes and how windy it gets blowing you all over the road. Even camping in the wind is the worst and keeps you up all night. The rest of the elements are much easier to deal with it seems. Thanks have been healing up my leg and some other injuries since the accident and am gearing up for an Alaska 2024 trip next summer. Thanks for the input and be safe out there!
@@shredvisionfilms Agree! High winds suck on a motorcycle. Glad to hear you've healed up. Look forward to more of your guys' content! Alaska sounds epic. We're doing Sturgis this year, only 6 weeks away now. Our only big trip on the books for the moment. Cheers

Yea the Versys 650 has been a great, and always shocks people to see it traveling across the country and riding off road. Struggles a bit keeping top speed in the high country but been a good reliable bike to explore on.
Thanks!!! Idaho is always a great place to check out. Want to go see more in that beautiful state some day. Bike week should be fun. Might try and make it out.
Hey thanks for checking out our adventure! We left California around July 25th, 2022. The Sturgis Rally that year started August 5th, and we got there on the first day. Got home around August 12th. Let me know if you have any other questions. Ride safe.
Thanks for checking out our adventure! We were on pilot road 4 and 5's on this trip. Don't last too long on the rear. About 6,000 miles and its gone on a long trip like this. Might look for something longer lasting in future.
Yea there is a wilderness spot just north of Fort Bragg. Must have some off road abilities if you want to get to the beach as it starts to get sandy, and bumpy the closer you get. Shred On!!
@@kelvinknaff9903 Yea there were a few places where taking the road glide was difficult. Clint wanted to try to take it most places and toughed it out, but being on a different type of bike makes it a lot easier.
Great video! But when the fella said he was “having Harley problems”, he wasn’t. Breaking your bike because you took a bagger down bumpy, holed, unsealed roads isn’t a Harley problem, it’s an “I asked my bike to do something it’s absolutely not designed for” problem. It’s fun to do stuff like that, but the responsibility for problems lies closer to home than Milwaukee.
Thanks for checking out our adventure. Yea we all ride and own a bunch of different bikes including Harley's and take them places they should not go. If you watch further on in the video, you notice we end up having some "sport touring" problems taking our "road bikes" too deep into the back country of Wyoming and cracking an oil pan on an exposed rock. That's what makes the adventure fun. You ride what you got and take it where you should not... and we like to poke fun at Harley owners from time to time as an inside joke to the many friends of ours who ride them as we were ironically the only 2 Japanese bikes in Sturgis that week. Ride safe!!!
@@shredvisionfilms I remember reading a book by Forrest Griffin where he said that off-roading is more fun in a Corolla than a Jeep, so I guess there’s something to that, haha. I felt the pain of losing gear though, because I took my Triumph Thunderbird through the Rockies and all round BC and Alberta last year and I came home minus a quarter of my gear and missing a visor, half a windshield, a heat shield, one of my bags, and with my remaining bags all held closed with bungee cords due to all the zippers breaking. Yeah, it’s part of the experience, but riding through an Albertan hail storm after losing your rain gear and your helmet visor is one experience I’m happy to check off the 'must do' list and move to the 'never again' list.
@@stevenwilliamson705 oh wow that is a wild ride for sure. I've been through some similar experiences before I used to carry rain gear in my early years. Never again. Luckily for us during this trip, I had an extra set of heated gear I lent out to our buddy Clinton on the Harley for the remainder of the trip. So he was able to tough it out and keep warm before he headed home. Keep shredding it up brotha and ride safe!!!

Sick ride guys. Idaho represents! Headed to Arizona Bike week late March 2023
Thanks!!! Idaho is always a great place to check out. Want to go see more in that beautiful state some day. Bike week should be fun. Might try and make it out.
I was at Arizona Bike week this year. What a riot.
Stacy Wilt one beautiful Kady, she rocks🥰😍😘
indeed! thanx for checking it out.
Hi
Amazing and fun video.
I would love to know what dates you went for riding?
Hey thanks for checking out our adventure! We left California around July 25th, 2022. The Sturgis Rally that year started August 5th, and we got there on the first day. Got home around August 12th. Let me know if you have any other questions. Ride safe.
Sick video lads!! 🤘🏻 What tyres were both bike running?
Thanks for checking out our adventure! We were on pilot road 4 and 5's on this trip. Don't last too long on the rear. About 6,000 miles and its gone on a long trip like this. Might look for something longer lasting in future.
It's beautiful😍🆒
thank you. i thought the scenery on this trip was beautiful as well.
Muito bom! ❤
Obrigado por conferir meu companheiro de aventura!
Free camping at Fort Bragg?...planning a ride from Empire Calif.
Yea there is a wilderness spot just north of Fort Bragg. Must have some off road abilities if you want to get to the beach as it starts to get sandy, and bumpy the closer you get. Shred On!!
I would like to camp on the coast in fort bragg.
@@JohnBuckRider it really was an awesome place to camp!
27:33 I gotta go there
Yea Cape Flattery was one of my favorite parts of the trip. I had wanted to go there for years and finally got to check it out.
What kind of Yamaha is that ?
Yamaha FJ 09. Fast bike. Eats up miles.
Why doesn’t Nick have an ADV @ Fort Bragg Beach?
He had his motorcycle there, but I believe it was a little out of frame on the shot. I think that is what you were asking.
@ I guess I was asking since I only Road Glide. Why would you take a Road Glide on that sand soil?
@@kelvinknaff9903 Yea there were a few places where taking the road glide was difficult. Clint wanted to try to take it most places and toughed it out, but being on a different type of bike makes it a lot easier.
💯👍
thanks for checking out our adventure!!!
