I own Tata altroz petrol xz model. Drove 150kms from Salem to Hosur in highways. With 5 people, I got 20kmpl at 80-90km/h speed. When return from Hosur I got 22kmpl because it's a slope down route. Milege slightly varies based on air flow direction and altitude as well.
After first service I have take a drive from Mettupalayam to Sathyamangalam maintained 40- 60 milage goes down to 14 in petrol with AC in altroz xe rethym variant .

I purchased altroz vehicle in SRT TATA COIMBATORE last month which is having manufacturing defect front Bonet chrome is pealing off and Bonet area is not properly aligned showing ups and downs in alignment, small hole exists already near Bonet left side ,door panels are not even one side is perfect another side is not having proper alignement it showing big difference and looks akward... from Engine bay screws are dismantled last week while taking reverse found out this issue ..these are the additional issues facing ,even though I don't consider these as problems engine noise 2nd gear lagging issues cabin noise .......I have told to sales person multiples times to check pdi and deliver but they missed out and also tata motors missed it in quality checks.. now my family entire happiness gone beacuse this is our first car and we bought the car by all our hard earned money. This car is very important car for us ..... brand new car still in service station service persons don't know how to fix this....also I saw same manufacturing defected another car which is showcased in the showroom
Altroz vs i20 is correct comparison, altroz interior space is better than i10 nios, 3 cylinder petrol engine is only disadvantage in altroz otherwise Altroz good. Better select i20

Minor quality issues like creaking noise inside cabin sometimes etc.. no major issues faced. If u want performance go for diesel.. But if u drive more frequently in city at low speeds, u may face DPF issue due to which u can't drive past 2k rpm.. Avoid petrol altroz

Please only believe in Tank 2 Tank Mileage than in Instrument Cluster Reading...You put the effort to show cluster reading, which not the ground reality of mileage. Instant Fuel Economy only counts the qty of fuel goes through the ECU sensor, than that of Start and Stop(Cold start).
