Tiny Kong is so fun to watch. I love the pony tail twirl. The best skill in the game for her IMO. The designer were really smart to come up with that one!
One of the 1st things I do when I play this level is to take out that giant Kremling making all the stalictites fall down. After that, I can enjoy the music and gameplay without it getting interrupted every 30 seconds by the falling rocks and foreboding misic.
This is one of my favorite levels in the game, The atmosphere and music in it is so beautiful. This game along with Banjo Kazooie and Tooie is one of Grant Kirkhope's best music in my opinion.
I think "the guy in the video" would be me, LOL! Concentrate on converting his buttons other than converting "blank" ones. Other tip would be to press "Z" a soon as you can; there's no need to smash 'em so hard, don't you think ;)?
Yeah! Some challenges can be a real pain in the back for keyboard players. I won the entire game a long time ago in an emulator with keyboard before recording this walkthrough.

Crystal Cave is such a well designed level, but can be very disorienting if you don’t know what you’re doing or where you going! You handled this level like a pro! I can’t tell how much I got lost in here! Great job dude!
Crystal Caves reminds me of Freezeezy Peak and Hailfire Peaks: they all have igloos (Crystal Caves has the 5-door igloo and Freezeezy Peak and Hailfire Peaks both have Boggy's igloo (Boggy and his family moved from Freezeezy Peak to Hailfire Peaks between Banjo-Kazooie and Banjo-Tooie)).
I finally finished Diddy's lower cabin. And Klump's death animation didn't finish in time. And it didn't give me the stupid banana. And I still have to do the Lanky race. And DK's igloo. That's it. I'm done. Never playing again.
May I offer a suggestion about Diddy's lower part of the cabin? Make sure to have at least 10-12 seconds left on the clock when you get to the Klumps. That's usually plenty of time for them to finish dying.

In Diddy's igloo room as well as Chunky's room in the lodge (which involves spotlights), he can instakill you after just 1 second. *-DARTS-** GET OUT!!!* , indeed! -_-; *That damn beetle. I bet the fuzzy jump cut we see at 39:02 takes out, like, 50 failed attempts! >_< *Gnawties this late in the game? *Also, a stinging Zinger near Funky's this late? *Cranky's "proud" of what's essentially Bananaporting, but only for Tiny? *Damn, Cranky sure was savage on Chunky! "Do us a favor and use this one as often as possible!" *DK's first lodge room, the Zinger hive. How Zingers can live in cold caves is beyond me. (They were also found in ice levels in DK Country 1 and 2!) *The lodges near Candy Kong. Worst hotel ever? *In the Wii Virtual Console version, Tiny's Krazy Kong Klamor game is nearly impossible because the methods Nintendo took to fix all the framerate issues in the original opened up a bug that made the lights flicker extremely fast. (A number of playthroughs of that version on TH-cam feature "pause buffering", where the player pauses the game before shooting.) *25:00: DK getting Zinger'd right out of the barrel.

Like the Country series but there is something about this game that feels like an uncanny dystopian nightmare. Especially how you have too many banana's to collect and that stupid voice keeps saying "oooooh! banana!"

Does anyone know what the move is called that shows up on 1:12:05 and emits a blue wave. It’s tiny inside the igloo with the red target on the floor. What’s it called and what buttons do you press?
OK, I had to Google that one. I didn't know the name of that thing. I was just calling it "the shooter". Is in the houses. If you fail to win the Golden Banana in the set time, it will give a few seconds to get out before it shoots you.
I thought that as a kid too, then I realized that that thing is a jungle-made "projector screen" and it's showing things from other places. So it's just a lid getting closed.
Wow did you really fail DK's level 6 barrel blast course that many times? I counted 5 or 6 attempts there lol. Gotta take it slow in those barrel blast courses because some of those barrel shots can be tricky as you found out lol.
I hope the creater of this World will be locked away forever. This degree of difficulty is the reason why I always made this annoying world as world 7. I hate the Crystal Caves. For me is Creepy Castle the world 6 because it's a easy world. What are your problems with Beaver Bother? I think this quest is easy. Meanwhile I can get it in first try, while I have infinity hate about the Crystal Caves (world 7) especially about the bug race. Crystal Caves should be forbidden and this world never should exist. But I love the Creepy Castle (world 6).
Am i the only one here who beat the beetle race first try when i played on the n64? I dont want to be a show off... Its just... Wow. Its really that difficult?

There are 12 tiles of 6 colors with some on either wall. You have to match both color tiles by using the 4 rotate switches to turn the room.

Not impossible, but incredibly unforgiving. There's absolutely zero room for error, so it takes many, many attempts.

Don't know, but I entered the maze by rolling forward and the maze didn't move. So that was easy to get the golden banana.

You need to not let the spikes damage Donkey Kong because the ice maze is so sharp! You have to avoid the spikes in the ice maze.
