Just had Jeremiah build my bow (hoyt ventum 30) a few weeks ago...drove 7 hours to his shop. He spent 5 hours with me, tuning, fitting a new release, building new arrows for me....thanks Jeremiah for taking the time to help me and dial in my bow!!! Love my new bow!!
Guys like him are very very rare. 5 hours working with a customer is unheard of. One of the few shop owners that really care about people.
This isn’t a “TH-camr Special Treatment” thing. I bought a super budget bow (Bear Charge) from these guys at Wilde Arrow like 8-9 years ago and they spent a long time getting my bow set up and Jeremiah even taught me some basic form out on their range right after. Great guys and great shop, even for beginners too.
Yeah these guys do their very best to take time with every customer. I can’t believe how busy their shop has been. I just hope they can keep up 😂

Just getting into compound bows and went to Wild Arrow today since they are like 10 minutes from my house. Couldn't have been more psyched with that shop, and will definitely be going there when I decide on something.

I really wish your shop was closer! My shop just set up a Hoyt Ventum Pro 30 for me here in NJ and did it in about 20 minutes! Everything was eyeballed I feel! Didn’t use a level at all, my nock height on the string looks to high…not happy with my experience.

Good, we love the guys at Wilde arrow and love love to share their knowledge.
It makes a lot of sense to level all of the sight components. That being said I’ve never done it before but can shoot very accurately out to 60 yards or more.
I tell people all the time, especially new people getting into archery, a really good bow technician is worth every penny and time. I'm fortunate and have a guy that I trust. I've learned so much from him and have become a better shooter. I'm interested in what arrow you end up with. Looking forward to the next video.
Sir if someone told me everything about archery specially if we talk about compound bows a year ago I would not walk this path never first thing not if you 16hr away from archery shop and not like you going to pop in after work .second things accessory cost fortune not just bow if you don’t have iPhone 13 you don’t have iPhone 13.you mast have iPhone 13 cos media advertising is telling you buy the best one not just cheep one cos if they do not promote they don’t sell. Any way mange to go to the archery shop try new bows I do really like the Hoyt but that’s a long story let’s begin:!!!!’ Watching you tube of course this bow is amazing this one even better this one dead in the hand this one vibration goes in to my arse through hand. In my opinion from middle range up there is no moch difference between Hoyt torrex xt and ventum 30 both some same even torrex xt on a test in the shop with 350 g arrows was faster than ventum don’t ask me why I’m not expert why pay more well if you wanted iPhone 13 pay more anyway ended up with torrex xt ld version happy as Larry but I hate mention one more thing as I watching and learning how amazing bows are how smooth draw is oh ah just kiss the bow before every shot sooooo now I can tell you before I bow torrex xt I got my first bow bear species 70lbs light and accurate the bear bow even 70lbs is moch easier to pull the draw is smoother and quiet and accurate as well I know is single cam and 16ibo slower but brilliant bow if only I could turn back time I would go for divergent or the latest on and still cheeper and brilliant bow. But advertising work well and I was bite on that fishing hook. Still love the bear bow Hoyt stick into hand better and love the look of torrex xt ld and ventum but not worth the price and one more things it took me ages to set up bows learn watch but very very accurate both bear and Hoyt you don’t need all those gadgets and experts is not fricking rocket 🚀
@@piterex7 You're right... a bow and accessories isn't cheap. But that's my point. A good bow technician isn't going to sell you on gimmicks or push anything. They're going to listen to you and give you information from they're perspective and let you make a decision. My bow technician is 100 miles away. It doesn't take 16 hrs to get there, but I certainly can't "just pop in". As someone who intends on purchasing anything, one needs to figure out who's selling you a bunch of BS, and who's the real deal. I started elk hunting in 2017 with my Mathews Switchback I bought in 2005. When I moved to CO and met up with my bow technician, he never once tried to sell me a new bow. I did upgrade arrows, which I fully intended on, but he never pushed anything on me. He's taught me to become a better shooter. Now I did upgrade my bow since and accessories, but that was my choice alone.
Great video. My Ventum 33 with a 29” draw and 70 lbs wasn’t paper tuning well with Axis 340’s. I went to a Axis 300. And it was shooting bullet holes.

I been shooting the ventum 33 and like it so far
I’m wanting to learn how to do this myself. Could you have him go through the whole process from start to finish and explain how to do it. I’m on the east coast and have been bow hunting for 20 years. I have never seen a shop put this much effort into tuning a bow to a person.
Hoyt Ventum is the 2021 Bow of the Year. They have a winner with the Binary Cam system.
Jeremiah is an awesome guy. With the year we had getting bows in I had to pick my Hoyt up at another shop and they could not get it to tune. We were up at Wilde arrow getting my brothers bow and I was discussing my problem with Jeremiah. He had me bring my bow in, we went in the back and he helped me get it tuned no problem. Awesome customer service, I can't say enough about my experience.
How do u change from module #3 to 2 for a shorter draw lenght
ITS GREAT WHEN YOU ORDER ONE IT COMES WITH ENOUGH CAM LEAN BECAUSE OF THE WAY THE CABLES ARE PULLED ON THAT SPECIFIC RISER DESIGN YOU CAN ACTUALLY NEVER GET A BULLET HOLE!!! LOT OF FUN

Did I miss a video on this ventum? Looks like the camo pattern is fusion, but its not available on the Hoyt website in fusion?? Did you get it hydro dipped or something?

On the number 2 cam does that just go to 28 inch draw like on the older Hoyts? Reason I ask I'm right there some Bows I'm 28 and some I'm 28 and half inch draw.
I’ve got a RX5. Been to two different Hoyt shops and still can’t get it tuned or a good center shot. I need to take it there!
Swap the spacers from one side to another as needed. Took my certified bow tech 3 min with a spacer tool to have me shooting bullet holes.
I've got a Hoyt Powermax that I want to get another season with, but the Ventum is tempting...
I’m in the same boat. My powermax has been good to me, but it might be time.
Wish is was ready to buy a new bow and hit them next week before TAC

On your sight does the hole sight move or just one pin?
The whole sight housing moves, depending on the model of sight there is one or two indicators on the sight tape for different pins. On his the bottom pin is the only slider.

From survival point of view compound bows are suck, you need a crew of people and equipment to maintain it. Imagine situation where's what you have is what you've got, how long that bow will last? Especially if you never build it yourself.
