if I had ever gone to Hong Kong at all, or anywhere outside of America aside from Canada in general, I would've had no problem with simply walking the trail that makes up this ride.

I would have prefered Mystic Manor darker and similar to the Haunted Mansions, like Phantom Manor. I was a bit disappointed by the absence of the Stretch Room.
It wasn't want to be exactly like the Haunted mansion. They said thst they did thid because they see the departed with respect and honor and that a haunted mansion would offend the Chinese, you can find out more on the Imagineering Story
@@ryankiser294 Ya! Just finding reasons to cover they have low budget to work with. Disney not that care about taboo of Chinese. And this is in Hong Kong. Hong Kong Disneyland have Halloween also. If they really care about some taboos why they still celebrate it? Why don’t just cancel it. So that taboo reason is false. Everyone knows HKDL have always low budgets

The whole thing is superb but the walls in the last room is one of the most spectacular use of screens in a ride
