The Lost Boys could have been a really cheesy, terrible movie. But it had such a great director, cast and crew. It's like they said, their dedication and wanting the best people to be a part of it helped make it a classic! I just watched it a couple of months ago, and it didn't seem dated at all! Another thing about the movie that I really liked was Star, Jamie Gertz's character was strong and intelligent, not just Eye Candy. Love this episode! Thank you!
These guys are so fortunate to have worked with such a great director as Joel Schumacher when they were so young and Kiefer with Rob Reiner previously.
Lost Boys is a classic from that era. I saw it in the theatre and loved it. Jamie Gertz was such a hottie back then. She was perfect for the role. I think I’m gonna pull out my DVD and watch it tonight!👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
True to his Canadian roots, Keifer is a helluva hockey player too. Strong, strong defenseman. Got to see him play in a charity game in the early 2000's and he was a stud on skates.
The great thing about Keifer is he has played bad guys and good guys. He's played some pretty dark characters and the ultimate badass as Jack Bauer in 24.
Kiefer's career has been insane and his personality is incredible for these types of things Jason has had amazing roles like the one in Rush. I always feel bad for him though when doing the rounds because he's more shy and Kiefer takes a lot of attention. After being the hot guy for so many years I wonder if he enjoys the back burner now or if it bugs him. God I miss 80's and 90's movies
Wolf Man out of the two Jason is the hot one? LOL my female mind strongly disagrees I mean I used to like him in that movie because as a small child David scared me LOL but now Jason is just alright LOL I admire both but prefer Kiefer I'm not in love or anything but I like his movies even Eye for An Eye though I wish he had played the cop LOL or the dad LOL I admire him as an actor
This may be controversial but I don't care...I like Speed 2: Cruise Control. Aside from being a fan of Speed and Sandra Bullock, seeing him hits me with the nostalgia of "Michael" and The Lost Boys. 😊
The Lost Boys is my all time favorite vampire movie!! Everything about it was perfect the cast, the soundtrack, the filming locations it was all just great!! Star was my girlfriend only thing is she never knew it lol
One of the best movie's from my young years, had the soundtrack ! Movies in the 80's and 90's were so,so much better than what being regurgitating now days. RIP CORY
Fantastic! The bridge scene freaked me out for days! I walked into a cop bar dressed as a cat once, and they did not approve. I was asked to leave, hahaha. But the dude at the Harley Davidson dealer didn't bat an eye. I met Mr. Sutherland in Scotland a long time ago, and he was very polite. I've since met a lot of really cool people who say the same about him. Kudos, you guys are all right. Waving hi from Maine. 😘
I never understood why Jason Patric didn't become higher profile after the Lost Boys, but then that statement was based on his youthful looks, not his acting ability. When I did a little research it all comes together - like Keifer, Jason has a famous acting family. 'Father Damien' from the Exorcist was a real father and Jackie Gleeson was his grand dad. Ummm, yep. That's all I'll say about that . . . .
I’m in my 40s and I absolutely love this movie. I finally introduced it to my wife a few months ago. I bought it on digit and I enjoyed it as I did the 1st time. 💥💥💥💥💯🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
my birthday is June 17th also, i was probably about 15 when Lost Boys came out. guess i was right in the target audience, i already had a thing for sort of weird youth gang films and yes it is a vampire movie but it is also a weird youth gang film. so yeah the teen outcast sort of punk/metal/goth gang element of it appealed to me more than the vampire thing did.
I'm surprised these 2 guys were comfortable being in the same room together even after all of these years. Didn't Jason Patric steal Kiefer's girlfriend or fiancee and almost marry her? I know they're both much older and that's a long time ago, but something like that would still be hard to forgive and forget.
I think that was during the production of Flatliners circa 1990, which Roberts co-starred in with Kiefer. The Lost Boys was released a few years previously in 1987, and didn't have Roberts as a cast member. Both movies were directed by Joel Schumacher.
Dude…when I was a kid, it was all about Lost Boys and Fright Night…legendary movies.
Oh Brewster, you're so cool 😎
I have both on blu-ray and collectors edition of the lost boys trilogy box set
And Goonies. That is my 3.
So true.
That opening credit song Cry Little Sister is still just as epic.
That opening song Cry Little Sister is one of my favorite songs from any 80s movie. Epic and perfect for the tone of the film
If that movie came on tv right now I would halt all activities and sit my ass down and watch it. Never gets old
More if this please. I could listen to these guys all day. Lost Boys was a epic movie
Hi Ally!! I agree!! I LOVED this movie, still do!! Love from Oz!! 💕🇦🇺💃
I met keifer at a con a few years back. He’s such a humble and kind dude. Such s talent
To this day it is still one of the best movies I’ve ever seen. Visited Santa Cruz just because of this movie.
Didn't they call it Santa Carla or something in the movie???
Rest in peace Joel Schumacher ❤🙏 the movie of my childhood..
Kiefer in Dark City. He can play nervous really good.

The look of Kiefer in that movie was so bad ass
Fight Night, The LostBoys, NearDark and Vamp. The 80s, the best decade for music and cinema imo.
you can tell kiefer has led the kind of life he wanted, zero regrets to the tomb. I envy that so much
He's a renowned asshole, everything has it's draw back
I've always liked Jason Patrick, he always reminded me of Jim Morrison
Same
I could be wrong, but apparently when Oliver Stone was casting Jim Morrison for The Doors movie, Jason worked hard to try and get the part.
Yeah but totally different in essence, just looked like him, and your imagination did the rest 😂
@Mlock76 I wasn't aware of that but I think he would have been great.
@@benholland1331 what?
I remember watching Jason's father also named Jason too. Jason Miller played troubled Catholic Priest in 1973's iconic horror movie, The Exorcist.
These guys are so fortunate to have worked with such a great director as Joel Schumacher when they were so young and Kiefer with Rob Reiner previously.

Also, Rosenbaum is a pretty damned great hockey player too. Credit where credit is due.
Was Peter Weller ever on this show? Would be cool to hear him talk about RoboCop and Screamers!
He was one of my favs from the 80’s. First Born, Buckaroo Banzai, Leviathan, Shoot the Moon. Then he became an archeologist.
Yes!! I love Peter Weller! Hopefully they will be able to get him on this show!
The great thing about Keifer is he has played bad guys and good guys. He's played some pretty dark characters and the ultimate badass as Jack Bauer in 24.
What an icon Jack is. Right up there with Jack McClane and John Rambo. He'll forever be the American James Bond we never had.
Kiefer's career has been insane and his personality is incredible for these types of things

@@aprilgosa5779 I've been nuts about Kiefer since I watched Flashback at 13yo.
If you like Jason Patric you should definitely watch The Prince phenomenal movie.
Jason has been through some tough times dealing with custody issues for his child. I have a lot of respect for him.
This may be controversial but I don't care...I like Speed 2: Cruise Control. Aside from being a fan of Speed and Sandra Bullock, seeing him hits me with the nostalgia of "Michael" and The Lost Boys. 😊
One of my fav movies. Watch it still all the time, just met Jason Patrick at Spooky Empire, I’d love to meet Kiefer! L🖤VE them BOTH!
The Lost Boys is my all time favorite vampire movie!! Everything about it was perfect the cast, the soundtrack, the filming locations it was all just great!! Star was my girlfriend only thing is she never knew it lol
Wow, great insights about a modern classic.
One of my favorite movies
Watched 3 Muskateers yesterday, Kiefer is such a great actor 👏
Kiefer is such a good dude! We love you 😍
Jack Bauer was on of the best TV characters in history. I was absolutely obsessed with 24.
One of the best movie's from my young years, had the soundtrack ! Movies in the 80's and 90's were so,so much better than what being regurgitating now days. RIP CORY
Would love to see and hear Jamie, Andrew and Robert D jr. talk about the making of Less Than Zero.
Fantastic! The bridge scene freaked me out for days! I walked into a cop bar dressed as a cat once, and they did not approve. I was asked to leave, hahaha. I adore Kiefer just love his acting,
Great film guys, stream it every few years. Look and feel of the movie never ages out.
Loved that movie, you guys were great!
That’s cool when actors give the respect to the people who create the skeleton to the movie and give it life. Nice.
My favorite movie. I live in Santa Cruz
Jason Patric was a babe back then. He was also excellent in “Rush” with Jennifer Jason Leigh. My age group so I love them
Lost Boys and Near Dark. 2 best vampire movies of the 80s
LOST BOYS IS AWESOME
So awesome. I love this shibb
Narc is my favorite Jason Patric movie
Well, the chemistry between these 2 was epic.
That body language between them on the couch is something else at the start
Is because the COVID 19
So hard to believe lost boys was so long ago.
Best movie ever. I would love to see these guys do something comical now.
Jason Patric was perfect in NARC...
I got to see the bridge in LA from that scene.
Its cool how Jason meeting Kiefer was just like Michael meeting David.
time for a rewatch!

He was also in my sisters keeper he played the dad. Hes a good actor it hust depends on the movie
I would love to hear from those two girls now.
'...but you must feed..' 🧛♂️
Great movie thank you ♥️
I love these guys in that movie 🎬
Love Lost Boys ! What a Great Movie! 👍🙂❤️👏🙏
I’m in my 40s and I absolutely love this movie. I finally introduced it to my wife a few months ago. I bought it on digit and I enjoyed it as I did the 1st time. 💥💥💥💥💯🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Wow. Jason Patrick getting old makes me feel old!
He didnt want to be a vampire
His round face and receding hairline is depressing. Damn
@@chiefscheider ain’t it though 😂🤣
@@chiefscheider he has reached peak jim morrison
You are getting old, everyday you wake up lol
Great movie from my childhood.
David definitely is a vampire kiefer Sutherland is still sexy lol 😆 kiefer is one of my favorite actors I have many of his movies.
I hope those two girls at the light get to see this....
Jason in Sleepers...best role he has had.....
My favourite film both Jason and kiefer was and still are hot so hot
my birthday is June 17th also, i was probably about 15 when Lost Boys came out. guess i was right in the target audience, i already had a thing for sort of weird youth gang films and yes it is a vampire movie but it is also a weird youth gang film. so yeah the teen outcast sort of punk/metal/goth gang element of it appealed to me more than the vampire thing did.
Sweet
Jason and Keifer!!!!!
Get story! Bet those girls REGRET the hell out of that lol!!!!😂
Imagine seeing Patric and Sutherland sitting next to you at a diner. 😂
Best vampire to this day !
It's about time we got lost boys two a true sequel nit the rubbish that's out please oh please or I'll cry like my sister lol but yeah
Holy sneezes I did not recognize Jason Patric. Damn son.
Patric is clinging to those scraps
Love that movie
Jason and the XMas tree KILLER ! What timing this shows up .
Now do “After Dark, My Sweet”.
Fabulous film

Yep. Julia Roberts left Kiefer almost at the altar for Jason Patric. Actually it's nice to see them like this.
I mean can you blame her? Lol jason patric was way better looking than keifer back in the day its pretty much a night and day difference
I’m 54 my wife thinks I’m nuts but I watch that movie every time it’s on ….,it’s a classic ……great interview
Bring up Julia Roberts 😁
Thank you 💋💋💋very much, very interesting👍 video, just like me,😉 thank you very 😍much for your😘 prosperity and success💝💘💕💓
Deng i thought jason was corey for a min! Lmfao
Best vampire movie ever
this is great but please move keifers mic stand a bit to the right. i cant see him
First movie to really scare me, that bathtub scene was a doozy
Epic flick
Murder has the coolest voice and it’s perfect for a villain lol
I’d love to know what those two girls are thinking after the fact?!! “That was Jason and Keiffer!!”
To this day, whenever I eat fried rice I still give it a second look just to make sure it isn't maggots.
Don't know if I could ever forgive my "friend" that stole my bride on our wedding day. That's some cold shit.
She left keifer for jason, which back in the DAY they were really young so.. people do stupid things
Jason and Tom W could play brothers
Yep
Adam savage was in lost boys?!
Jason still looks jim morrison.
Holy crap Patrick looks way different
I just watched a movie called Vanished that he and Anne Heche were in. It took me a while to recognize him as he has a big beard.
I wonder if they might be interested in help making a (LOST BOYS) show series?
How come neither of them mentioned the Two Cories?. It was more their Movie than eithet of the Older Character's the 20 Twenty something Movie
When you remember when Jason stole Julia Roberts from Kiefer Sutherland while filming this.
I think that was during the production of Flatliners circa 1990, which Roberts co-starred in with Kiefer. The Lost Boys was released a few years previously in 1987, and didn't have Roberts as a cast member. Both movies were directed by Joel Schumacher.
Kiefer looks like Adam from MythBusters.
Jackie Gleason was Jason patric's grandfather
I’ve seen this movie maybe 100 times throughout my life.
"Michael!"
All the damn vampires
How are those maggots Michael
When is the next one with cory taken place ?
