- This 13.5 mile hike takes us into the Mission Mountains Wilderness to Glacier Lake, Lagoon Lake, Lace Lake and Turquoise Lake. The first 1.5 miles to Glacier Lake is very flat. You then retrace your path back to the main trail and head toward Turquoise Lake. Several switchbacks and a steady incline gets to to a ridge where you can see across the valley to the east to the Swan Mountain Range. You then descend for just under a mile to Lagoon, Lace and Turquoise Lakes. A fantastic venture into the Flathead National Forest and the Mission Mountains!
Mission Mountains are fantastic. Well done!
Yes they are!

Wow, that’s an amazing hike the views and the lake are just beautiful. 👍🙂
Thanks for visiting
Great video guys. I wish it was always uphill going and all downhill returning…but, these Rocky Mountains don’t always work that way. I’ll bet that water was chilly! Thanks for sharin.
Thanks
My dog and I are were camping at lace lake and saw you two!
Cool - cheers!
Out in the middle of no where, and you run into your neighbor! What are the odds?
Happens often in Montana.
Actual distance to to Turquoise is 11 miles with 1,589 feet of gain.
We went off trail a bit and added miles and elevation. The elevation gain listed was not net gain, rather total gain. It was from the gps for OUR hike which varied from just the trail itself. Thanks and Montana cheers.
@@nolanventures473 so your elevation gain should have got you close to the summit of McDonald?
