Yes I totally agree with your show the CS has to be turned into something more of substance to go with the speed power flow judging criteria so these up and coming pros trying to make the CT have the waves and locations to show their skills. Especially when the past QS events in Nias and Haleiwa etc. the list goes on in comparison to the shitty waves we have on the CS especially with only five events in the 2025 upcoming season something has to be adjusted or figure it out I’m not sure exactly what needs to be done but something must be done
@t_bone_collector ... Absolutely yep ... Nobody gonna complain bout being on the North shore to qualify either mate. Bringing it back into play would be so good 👍
@@Lennox.Lindsay I think we are all fans of Morgs. Would love to see him Qualify! Is he the proper beer drinking version of Ethan Ewing? We need more of that on tour. 😆
@@user-pb8vj8ml9l Someone will be exposed if it’s proper 10 foot Pipe. How will they surf with limited experience? We’ll see. Occy surfed huge pipe his rookie year and delivered but I think it’s rare.
@@Mocean808 Honestly, I watched a little bit of Abu Dhabi and Sunzal this past season only because I love surfing Sunzal and my curiosity around Abu Dhabi. Otherwise there’s not much of a draw for me (unless they surf Pipe)! Lol
@@iannettle373 Pipe will be a wake up call for those unprepared especially if it’s bombing. However one could come in 33rd and still have small wave venues to save them.

@@joshualogan835 You said it..Speed Power and Flow- that’s hard to come by when the waves are small and weak.
Imagine if in order to qualify for Wimbledon the best Pro Tennis Players had to play 5 tournaments of pickle ball, that’s what the CS is like
@@andrewlewins6482 This years CS looks like ping pong 🏓
... Gday fellas 😎🙏🇦🇺
... Qualify via The Triple Crown for sure 💪
Hell yeah makes sense doesn’t it plus it’s cheaper for the surfers

steel city has sick waves
Some of the best surfers have come out of the steel city 🤘🏼

I agree with Koa, have it in one place. One plane ticket.
Bummer for Morgan Cibilic😪
Bring back Morgs

Qualify by the triple crown for shure! 👌👍
100% Wonder how different the challenger qualifiers would look?

just great! All the qualifiers for 2026 are going to be grovellers and get thrown into the lion's den.
I mean it does still make Pipe at the start of the year a tad more interesting
Saquarema to Pipe if you qualify for the CT 😮

So you both agree that longboard tour waves are better than CS. But will you watch the longboard tour?
I would only watch the longboard tour if they surfed pipe as I would love to see bit of carnage
Omg that sounds amazing! I wanna watch that too! 🎉

INDO!? best non CT event in 2024 was NIAS dude.
Agree it was pumping 🤙🏻
@@smalltowninnewmexico Nias, Krui and Cloud 9 in the Philippines all have had firing waves that rival the CT events.
@ Nias was mental! So many perfect 10s . It was definitely a hard one to watch!
no waves that will prepare surfers for the CT competition

I’m no fan of wave pools but they are a more attractive option than the waves on the CS .
Potential crap waves at all events. Perfectly suit to surfers who grew up surfing crap beach break slop and can do airs .
Lame unfortunately we are seeing quality surfers who excel in waves of consequence fail to qualify in shitty beaches
@@charleshenson-i9p The way the schedule is set up a groveler could potentially make the cut and then embarrass themselves in Tahiti. Lol
I really want to enjoy the CS because in other sports minor league sports are really fun to watch but it sucks that the waves are semi-garbage
