    For some low power devices you often do need to hit the little power button to start the device. For example when I use portable camping lights they are rarely detected automatically.

    Hey nice video, I bought this power bank early last year and noticed if I left it to charge my phone for a bit, I'll come back to see that it has stopped charging my phone until I disconnect and reconnect the usb

    Hi. Can you charge the Bank while it is charging a Device?

    Hi, I've had power banks in the past that work great initially and then stop holding and maintaining the charge as they would when they were brand new. How many months do you think this would last before we start seeing diminishing results in the charge this power bank would hold?
    Or do you think this would not be the case with this power bank?
    Great video, by the way!

      It has little to do with time. It's how many times you use the device and how you use the device. Batteries are rated by cycles. 300-500 cycles seems to be the typical advice. It really depends on how you use the battery though. If you always charge and discharge the battery as fast as possible you will find yourself closer to 300 cycles. Treat the device well and you'll get closer to 600 cycles. I like to recharge battery banks with "slow" chargers when's possible to make them last longer. I do the same with my phone. I can't add a link in comments but search for "Set a Charging Limit on Your Android Device to Avoid Excess Battery Wear" to get and idea of what I'm talking about. The article is in reference to Android phones but the general information is applicable to battery banks as well.

      @@jmr 300-500 charge cycles is for lead acid or AGM batteries. Lithium Ion is more like 1000-2000 cycles. Or am i wrong?

    • @jmr
      @jmr 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@juanzamarripa3778 I'm just going with general accepted lithium ion battery ratings. 300-500 cycles assumes they are charged to 4.2v like you would normally see in most devices. I probably got around 1500 charge cycles on my last phone battery before I changed it. I took care of my battery and honestly didn't get much of a bump in run time with the new battery. Here is someone else explaining it better.
      "For example, a lithium-ion cell charged to 4.20V/cell typically delivers 300-500 cycles. If charged to only 4.10V/cell, the life can be prolonged to 600-1,000 cycles; 4.0V/cell should deliver 1,200-2,000 and 3.90V/cell should provide 2,400-4,000 cycles." - Battery University

    Im cautious with banks i haven't heard of. I had a back that started melting with my old Samsung phone .It was a bank that ran out of juice . Good thing I don't charge unattended .

    I had this charging last night to 100% then totally unplugged it. Next day afternoon I checked on it and it was at 80%. I returned it right away. Did I have a defect?

    Advice as an advice watcher of TH-cam on products is that you have the device in your hands. Do a few test for subscribers Expecially something like how long does it take to charge? Well before posting a review time it so you can say from 0% to 100% using a 45 watt charger the input max was 41w using a 45 watt wall charger with two usbc ends and it took 123 minutes during testing. Not a few hours (good over night charging) come on man

    It can output 65W, but how fast does it charge up? 18W? 45W? 65W? 100W?
    (I only know of 1x battery pack that charges at over 65W, and it's the Anker one at 140W)

    • @Kiyoshi_9606
      @Kiyoshi_9606 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I think it's only 45W charging input speed. That's 30% slower than if it did 65W input like many others (Baseus, Anker, etc)
      The only way to ridiculously fast-charge a battery up that can also ridiculously-fast power up larger devices is the Anker 717 + Anker 737, I think, 140W both ways... (input & output)

      @@Kiyoshi_9606 If I charge it with an 65w wall charger,and the input is max 45w ,in time it can damage the circuits on it ? I charged in 2h10 min from 0-100% with 65w charger. But the maximum charging time in documentation is expected to be around 3+ hours.

      I got ideaplay 27000 65w powerbank on discount for 17$s down from 45, it takes 65w input and gives 65w output as well. And unlike these expensive ,25k powerbanks which test out as 15-18k in reality, the ideaplay tests output capacity at 28.300, which means its actually 20-30% larger than that and gives 28k after energy loss during transfer. But ofcourse its almost double the size of this one at 800grs 😅
