In Germany, we have a saying that goes "Aldi sets the price". This means that Aldi is known for having some of the cheapest groceries and household items around, and other stores often have to follow suit. For example, if Aldi lowers the price of cheese, it might even make the news, and all the other supermarkets will have to drop their prices too. That's just how things work here. Whenever I'm in a country without Aldi, I'm always shocked at how much more expensive everything is.
I love shopping at Aldi for most things but find it can be a better deal for meat at the butcher in my area. It’s crazy how much we save there for just snacks/milk alone!
You are correct on the kitty litter - it's bad. Also it's never a waste of time to put the bags in the car and pick up what you forgot right then and there 😅
@@thesimplifiedsaver When your daughter is older she can run in and get you the sour cream and buns. My mom did that all the time, lol. In our mid teens, she would drop me with a list, coupons and cash; drive across the street and drop my sister off at a different grocery store with list, coupons, and cash. Then she would pick us up. She would bring a book to read in the car while waiting for us.😊. She never had to worry about getting anything not on her list. 😂. No overspending.
I like Aldi however I find Walmart prices are better or comparable on most items (at least in my area). To avoid wasting uneaten grapes, it's acceptable to take a vine or two out of the bag you want. Another fun video!
If your kids don't eat grapes fast, you can always freeze them, they are great frozen, and my kids always thought it was a treat to get frozen ones! 😂😅
As a Canadian I’m seeing your prices and just in awe because here we can’t find food that cheap. No joke that would have cost me probably 200$-250$ to buy all that here.
i am in illinois and i love seeing the different items in your Aldis. i have never seen the pizza dough or the chicken wings in my store. also, some of your prices were higher some lower compared to my store.
I don’t think it matters how you pronounce ALDI, what matters is that ALDI is a wonderful store, I’ve been shopping there for over 30yrs, and I love them🥰
Hey Friend, Happy Sunday. I have never had Aldi’s wine before but I’m not that much of a drinker. I love shopping at Aldi’s and getting my groceries from there since it’s affordable but we can’t get everything there. 😢❤
I love Aldi-however u say it😉. When you were looking for the whipping cream, I said out loud ‘to the left’! 😂 Appreciate all your videos- keeping it real💙
So aldi and trader joes are not sibling stores. They are separate stores and owned separately. Aldi has been around a long time and was the poor store back when i was a kid. I was made fun of for going there. Now, no one bats an eye 😂 some prices are high at aldi. I can get cream cheese cheaper at walmart and milk is the same price at walmart too. I love seeing aldi in different states. Its so interesting to compare ❤
Trader Joe's is owned by Aldi Nord, so technically they are siblings owned by members of the same family. You're right though - they are completely separate independent companies now. The siblings had a massive argument and fell out, separating the original Aldi into two distinct companies that compete with each other. Aldi Nord (north) and Aldi Sud (south). Aldi in the US is Aldi Sud. There's also Lidl but that's another story.
Question, is Aldi where you get most of your meat? It’s my go-to as well, but I find markdowns in the meat dept at another grocery store chain & I don’t seem to ever find any there. Also not a huge selection of different cuts. Other than that I’m a big fan
We have a lot of Aldi and Lidl stores in Ireland. The way you pronounce Aldi is the way we say it over here. Also, we have to put a coin in our shopping trolleys for all supermarkets here, Aldi require a €2 euro coin 🙂

It is when you have kids with you sometimes 🤣

I bought the kitty litter and my cats hated it, but otherwise I love Aldi

I agree! I never buy a whole bag of grapes. Like the above poster, I typically remove just what I need (and what looks the best).
Here for the Aldi finds.
You're brave to go with your kids! :)
I always shop at ALDIs . I have shopped their sins they first opened. I recommend it to every one. ❤️
If your kids don't eat grapes fast, you can always freeze them, they are great frozen, and my kids always thought it was a treat to get frozen ones! 😂😅
Great idea!! Thank you
Love Aldi too !! ❤

Also from Canada and I was also just thinking that would definitely cost us at least $250-$300 here! 🙄 I hate our living costs 😩
@@Megan_Ashley it’s insane I leave the grocery store with one bag and it’s 100$.
@@juststeph6940 That’s exactly what I was going to say! 1 bag of nothing is literally $100 now 😭😭 We need to move! 🤪

Look up how to make buffalo sauce online. I make it all the time, it’s just hot sauce and butter

We like the Aldi wine! We even purchased 50 bottles for our daughter’s wedding last summer!
Great video more like this please
Still at the store - totally worth going back in for the sour cream and hot dog buns. I've done that many times

Aldi is my favorite store, but dang their prices are going up!
Apple juice unless organic is full of pesticides.
I miss shopping with the kids when they were young☹ My youngest is almost 20 😵
Sad.... and they become real boring. I look at my daughter and say I remember when you were fun.
Your prices wow so much cheaper than here in Pa
I LOVE ALDI!!! 🛒
Aldi's is my absolute favorite place to shop!!! We just grab boxes as we shop and then use those to pack our groceries in.
OMG!! People are picking on you for how you pronounce Aldi??!! Good grief! Who cares!!! lol Blue Bell is my favorite!

We tried the cold foam and personally wasn’t worth the price for us.
Nice shopping
Oh damn! So cheap! Our Avocados in Australia are $1.98 each 😢
