Your videos have helped me so much. Taking a break till after September to hone what I’ve learned but eager to continue after the season. You da man Levi.
Hey Levi, I am very new to all this, loving the videos though, have helped me greatly. What exactly do you mean by a “clicker” ? I’ve seen thumb releases and hinges, is that something all together different? & What brand do you use ? Thanks again for the amazing content!
Hi Jason. So a clicker is just built into the release. Usually hinge release with a half moon. There is a machined ledge on the half moon that is milled out. So when you are at full draw, and start to rotate the release, generally using back tension the release will make a click when it falls into that ledge. That lets you know that the release is close to going off. Some clickers are 4 thousands of an inch to 10 thousands of an inch.
Levi, Been battling with having my pin being stuck just below where im trying to aim. I shoot out to 100 yds in my back yard a lot and have always felt like im fighting getting my pin UP to where im aiming. Is this target panic? Or more of a bow balancing issue?
Branden Gauna I agree 100% with starting above the target and being centered exactly where your wanting to shoot and dropping down directly into that spot. I wasn't suffering target panic I just wasn't very accurate when starting about 10 years ago. My best friend taught me that method and improved my accuracy a TON!
That is a form of target panic if you find yourself slapping the trigger when it’s not on target. Only you will know this. Do some drills without firing the bow. If you can hold on target knowing you’re not going to send an arrow down range then it’s a form of target panic. Your pin should naturally float all around the target high, low, left, and right. Stay relaxed and focus on aiming. Don’t worry about the result. Focus on aiming and shot execution!
beefmelt I would say yes but under some circumstances I wouldn't recommend it because you're anticipating the shot. Try it out on 3D and in the field when you feel confident.

I've never thought about that before! Thanks for the tips!
noob here, just a thanks for you sharing such valuable info.
That’s fine for target shooting but live game sometimes requires longer holds at full draw, much longer, depending on the situation.
I don't quite understand this wouldn't you get target panic if you try to time the shot

Nick Sabo rear stablizer will help. More whate on the back or less on the front.
Nick Sabo start high and bring the pin down onto the target. You're experiencing target panic and a rear stabilizer will not help this

Watch Levi’s video on aiming practice, that’s what will help

How can a bowhunter reasonably transfer this practice in the field or is it even recommended?
