    The level of professionalism, detail and due diligence in your instructional videos is the golden standard. I've changed platforms but I still reference your videos when I can. Kudos!

    You know.. I was gonna tackle this install today on my GTI, but after your speech about the single ear clamps, tesa tape, and the ratcheting clamp tool - and conveniently providing the links for purchase - I decided to Prime those items and hold off a day. Many thanks! God bless

    I completed the install of the sensor and gauge on my 2019 GLI today. I placed the sensor in the exact same loaction as here , I did find that you need to orient the rear of the sensor slightly upward to have room for the 2 ends to slot into the intake manifold. I also wired it pretty much the same as explained here looks oem basically. Thanks again for the video and directions.

    Thanks for the video this is the only detailed install I could find I have a wrx so a little different but it’s still the same. With the help from your video and what I’ve gathered from wrx forums I’m feeling way more confident for this install

    Thankyou for the great video. 2 years later and your video is still helping people out. Do you have a video on how you routed your AP wires

    FYI I designed the gauge mount. It's actually designed to mount to the left side and hence the angle. With it mounted to the left side its almost invisible.

      Cool. Great design idea. I tried it a few different ways and strangely ended up with it the way it is… not sure why. Maybe it was because I didn’t have to “mount” it. It just sits quietly and securely in place. Hahaha

    This was really helpful. I like how you try to make things oem. What mount did you use for your Cobb AP?

      @EVERYTHINGcpo  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      It’s is the mount that comes with it! Just stuck to the dash. :-)

    Thanks for the vid, just what I needed and the parts list too. Perfect!. A little different for wiring for a RHD Mk7 but will make it work.

    Great video! I watched a few times but I can’t seem to catch where you talk more about which direction the fuse wire gets connected in the fuse box. You mentioned series vs parallel. Can you provide us with more detail?

      At 10:48 where I say that the wire points down in this case, and that the power source should come from the opposite side of the wire. That’s why it faces down, because the top side is the hot side in this fuse location.

    I believe your dimming didn’t work because you went to auto, and if it’s still daylight outside you’re light won’t turn on. Did you try going all the way and manually turning your lights on?

    Hey, just installed this today and I’ve watched yours and the example video from Nick that is on EQT.
    I haven’t seen anyone using the programming cable that is provided and programming the gauge like the instructions indicate. Did you do this and just not show that step? Is it not necessary? Any help would be awesome. Much appreciated!

    Hey man, nice videos. Like the one with the HPFP upgrade too. Just a question about your tune/Ethanol sensor. Where does the sensor hook up to your ecu for the tune to change ignition, timing etc? Or is the tune just a straight ethanol tune and can’t run on a mix of unleaded and ethanol?

    • @MaxiimTribe
      @MaxiimTribe 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      This is just to monitor ethanol content you have in your tank, as it can vary at the pump from the minmal legal limit of 51% up to in some cases 95%. The EQT tunes he runes offer either e30 mix or e85(which allows for 60-85% content).

    Okay where exactly did you put the white wire because you didn’t show us that part of the installation? The white wire has a spade so it gets plugged in somewhere?

    • @EVERYTHINGcpo
      @EVERYTHINGcpo  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      That was for the dimmer circuit, which as stated in the video I couldn’t get to work properly because of how the headlights are wired. I didn’t use it at all, but if I were you (if the gauge is going to be out) I’d just connect it to the same wire as the red (power) which should cause it to be permanently dimmed (which is still very bright). Because mine is in the cubby I just left it disconnected.

    excuse my bad English. but where do you connect the cable that should go to the ecu?
