One of the reasons I have become so addicted to these vlogs is the relevance to my life that seem to just pop up. Things I love.... like the history of Route 66. I'm in Springfield Mo and its history here is huge. The very first restaurant drive in was R66 and the restaurant was my family's. Keep on rollin.... i love wondering what's coming next. All the while.... I'm going back and watching from the beginning as well. Missy J

So that is the famous Route 66 I have always heard about! Very nice! I am surprised that Roy and Dale have been gone so long. I didn't realize that. Beautiful cemetery. Rest in Peace Roy & Dale. Loved the bottle ranch!

I thought Dale was several years older than Roy. She came to Hollywood with her young son she passed off as her brother.
When you watch those horses in those old western, they always hit their mark & know their lines. It was a great era to grow up in.

Jordan my dad was a good friend of Roy's, as a kid i remember going up to his ranch a few times and his Apple Valley house - my dad attended his funeral, i wasn't able to go because i was in Italy when Roy passed - his wife was so gracious, i remember as kids how friendly she was toward us, same with Roy, very accepting people with strong religious beliefs - my dad and Roy were both musicians and got to know each other through their music - when Roy owned it the ranch wasn't much of a sight, i've heard the new owners did some things with it, remodeling and giving it a theme, nice touch - we didn't get the opportunity to attend Dales funeral, at the time my dad was having issues with Alzheimers, which took him in 2005

Thank you for visiting Roy and Dales grave. I was/am a die hard fan. I love your road trip, I love Road Tripping more than anything. I have what I call my Insulator Forest in my backyard. A grouping of old electric pole insulators sitting on copper poles, placed along a sunken stripe of lawn, to keep from driving my riding lawn mower in that area and avoiding bending my blades.

Elmer must keep up that bottle farm because there were filled bird waterers and filled hummingbird feeders with red sugar water. It otherwise looked abandoned.

Route 66 is well worth visiting again. Lots of interesting things to see there within today’s video. Roy Rogers and his wife Dale were such a wholesome couple. Their character’s and values showed the best an American couple could be. Enjoyed seeing their resting place. I know Roy had Trigger stuffed years ago and displayed. Wonder where Trigger is today?
