Thanks Bradley for the thorough video.
Thanks for the how-to! Ghost had been amazing on the RV tires as well - really happy with Ghost!!
Awesome! Thank you for giving GHOST a try!
@armourdetailsupply
Hi Bradley
Are your products safe to use on tesla wheels and tires? I just got a new model 3 performance with the 20" wheels, and I want to take care of them the best way possible.
@@jobeddpagan940 Certainly!
GHOST is my favorite tire sealant. Works great.
@Bruces-Garage lol it better be at 400 hundred a gallon 🤣
@ On a per oz basis, that’s $199.92/gallon. . .but really, they don’t sell gallons and honestly it lasts so long you might save by not having to reapply. But if I was doing this in a production environment, I’d upcharge given its durability. It doesn’t take much product (more about the prep/cleaning that takes time). But you’re right, it’s not a cheap product.
@Bruces-Garage yeah but they tell you you have to use 2 applications to get desired results so that's 400 a gallon
@Bruces-Garage i have solvent based tire shines that last a few months and before you say solvent tire shines sling or damage the tire I have 2 words for you ... new technology
@Bruces-Garage and either 200 400 at those number it dosent even matter might as well be talking about monthly payments for a tire shine lol
Appreciate your detailed video on prep needed for Ghost to work as designed, going to order and try soon. Sorry I missed you and DJ at SEMA, I'm sure you had a lot going on during the week.
Thank you! Hope you had a great time at SEMA
Thanks for this, very helpful!
I need to see how this does out in the elements, but I think Ghost is going to be the ticket for my Nokian snow tires that reject every other dressing I've tried (even when just sitting in the garage).
I agree. Can’t wait to get this on my tires before winter sets in.
Same with my vredesteins!
Perfect detailed and precise instructions!! Thanks Bradley!!
Looking good Bradley! Thanks for the detailed instructions.
Great tutorial Bradley. The sprayer tip is great for any sealants, but especially something as stout as Ghost.
Informative as always! I’ve applied Ghost a bunch of times without issue and still, there was something new to learn.
Applied to my car for the first time yesterday. Was a bit worried the application would be hard, but it was surprisingly really easy. Looks great so far, awesome product. Kinda mad I waited so long to apply it after buying on launch day 😂
Were you really worried about the application being hard?
Yes I was because if you mess up it won’t just wash off easily with a regular cleaner you need to use some sort of solvent
@ethanblan435 bro believe in yourself 🙌
@@ethanblan435 i believe in you🙏
@@Juicefree it applied easier than I thought it would. No issues with the application
I bought the gallon, what ratio should I use?
Absolutely fantastic video! I'm having one tire that is rejecting pretty much every tire dressing I throw at it in a uniform ring closest to the tread. The rest of the tire is fine, except for this outer ring that fails after a couple of days. I've never seen anything like it, lol. I suspect that outer ring is not totally clean, but I can't imagine what would have caused it. It's a brand new car I purchased that literally came off the truck with about 5 miles. It's only one tire that does this, and the rest are absolutely fine. I used multiple rounds of Tire Cleaner, but I'll have to try Stoner's as well. Thanks for the video!
It's important to understand some Tire's are just like this! Also, if a tire gets scuffed against a curb, it will usually never accept a dressing the same in this area again. The sheen and longevity is highly dependent on the Rubber Compound. For example these Michelin's come out much more matte with 2 layers and are harder to get an even application in comparison to something like a Bridgestone etc.. Lot's of variables to tires that need to be accounted for!
❤❤❤ great job
Thanks for clearing this up. I too www curious about re application. 5 weeks in on my daily in the elements and still holding. About time to freshen it up. Great product guys!
Dope video brad
@@Ecdetails thanks 🐐
I have carpro tarx. Can I use that in place of tarminator
I’ve moved on from foam to brush application of tire dressings/protectant. Ghost is an excellent product.
how to prep tires with using only rinseless? can you do that too? some of us weekend warrior have no access of pressure washer or hose
Would not be possible for this product. You would want to stick to a standard dressing applied more frequently.
@@armourdetailsupply thank you!
Mine next
I prob missed it in the video but what dilution did you have the tire cleaner at? If it was the regular 4:1 would it make sense to hit it 2:1 that first time to give it a little extra juice to break down the old dressing?
This was the RTU dilution of 2:1.
Great tips, The only Question I have is where does the name come from?
@@DBMgamer just something fun and unique.
If you still see browning after 2-3 passes of cleaning the wheel is that still dirt and grim and traffic film or is that the anti-oxidants seeping out of the tire and browning on the surface? How can you tell the difference?
2-3 is all you need. Any more is overkill.
Thanks for the thorough demo Bradley! I didn't know solvent based dressings affect the foaming of the cleaner. I wondered why I'd get less foaming at times. I used this process on my tires a few weeks ago and applied two layers of Ghost and I'm very impressed. Prep is key but application couldn't be easier. I tend to do more rinseless washes and maintenance has been a breeze by simply dunking a tire brush in my bucket of rinseless wash when I'm done and do a quick pass over the tire and they look pretty much like the day I applied Ghost. Also applied three layers to a friend's car who likes the glossy tire look about two months ago and they are still looking good. Another great product from DJ and Bradley. Appreciate how you can grab any ADS product and get fantastic results and have a great user experience.
For knobby off-road tires, would it work to use a brush to apply Ghost to get into all of the ridges? Or will do you think you'll end up with brush marks?
You can you a brush, then use an applicator, or compressed air to flatten it out on the main areas!
@@armourdetailsupply Great tip! Thank you.
Instead of the Stoner Tar and Sap, I highly recommend Griots Garage Rubber Prep. Brilliant product.
@@patrickdonahue777 I’ll have to give it a try!
OMERGAWD its Bradley!
Dang pluse i got to do 2 applications to get desired results lol stuff is so expensive i could just buy a new tire lol
@@Juicefree new tires might be a good choice!
Holy smoke 30 bucks for 16 oz ..damn you guys just went for it didnt ya hahah
@@Juicefree yeah we’re pretty crazy
@armourdetailsupply yeah you are.. you would have to be pretty low tier to pay 200 bucks for a gallon of tire shine👍
Or 400 really since you have to do 2 application to get desired results man what a world🙏
@@Juicefree cruel world we live in
I think your just calling a solvent a sealant so you can charge me more
@@Juicefree it’s not solvent based.
