awesome video man, im looking at upgrading my injectors and ecu(haltech) on my m271 c200k and have been scouring the internet but no one likes to talk about efficacy its all about flow numbers, i want the best performance not just the peak performance and if the better injector improves torque throughout the entire rpm range and not just peak then so be it, motors are just heat engines and extracting more heat into work is the aim of the game.

Hi Martin, I've been playing with few injectors from my jeeps and around th same test bench and something strange happened,,let me tell you, I bought a set 24lb Ford Racing injectors for my Renix with no cat French export version, before installing them, I bench tested both type, the Yellow 4 ports BOSCH 0280155746 19.9lb Vs New 24lb. and then....what ever were the test, idle, speed test, hi flow etc, each time the bosh were spraying more fuel. I said to my self, it can't be, so I installed them and as I run open loop in stock form and as I dont have fuel trim but an after market wide band lambda, I can check my AFR and of course, my lambda dropped from 1 to 0.9
So in the test bench, they look to flow less but more when mounted on the engine.
Few days after, I came back to the test bench....why is that....I started to make test again, same result, then I look to machine parameters, I found that pulse width can't be adjusted on all tests, why is that, during hi flow test or other it's like pulse is way too short compare to real pulse width ( 5 to 20msec from idle to full load on E85 on a 5.9 for exemple )
Only on idle test I have been able to crank PW from 3 to 20ms, and than as soon as I start to increase PW, the for Ford racing start to deliver more fuel than the Bosch.
What do you think ? what was your pulse width during test ? have you been relying on the bench test pulse width ?

The white-banded OEM fuel injectors for '99-'00 Jeeps and '00 Dakota/Durango's equipped with the 4.7L V8 are Mopar P/N 53030842. They are a two-hole injector rated for 22.5 lb./hr. of flow at 49 PSI stock fuel rail pressure. Many reported they underperformed and flowed closer to 19 lb./hr. at 49 PSI. It's possible that's why they were so quickly discontinued in favor of the red-banded Mopar P/N 53032145AA injector starting in 2001.

Other than the Larger Air intake and the 08-13 Intake Manifold you would not recommend the Denso injectors for my vehicle? I am not sure what a Free Flow exhaust is.What other modifications are you suggesting? No one really makes aftermarket High performance parts for this engine, that I know of. I like my wired Intake and do not want to go to a fly by wire. I like Simple. If I was to put the Denso Injectors on without mods, you are saying that I would have problem with the vehicle.

Guy made a video using a very expensive dyno and dyno tech, the tech said before the test there is no difference in performance between 4 and 12 hole using the same injector. Will the Denso Injectors significantly boost the HP and performance? Also got an K&N Air Intake on the Truck. It also has a 390 Rear End. Can I also buy Denso Injectors new online? Do any modifications have to be made when one uses the Denso Injectors? Are there any other Mods that you can suggest that will enhance the performance? Great video idea, Martin! My new-to-me '02 Dakota with the 4.7L V8 has a mismatched set of injectors in it currently - (6) of the white-banded Siemens two-hole injectors (Mopar P/N 53030842) and (2) of the red-banded Siemens two-hole injectors (Mopar P/N 53032145AA). I have been looking into which OEM injector I should use to replace them for the best performance in a stock setup, and had read that the green-banded 4-hole injectors (Mopar P/N 53032704AB) were supposed to provide better fuel atomization. As you demonstrated, that is patently false!
I found in the course of my research that there seems to be a lot of confusion and misinformation regarding the flow rates of the three main types of OEM fuel injectors used on the 4.7L V8 in Jeeps and Dakota/Durango's. Would love to see a three-way head-to-head comparison of (2) injectors each amongst the three OEM fuel injectors used in the 4.7L V8:
    1) Mopar P/N 53030842 - White-banded two-hole injector, rated for 22.5 lb./hr. at 49 PSI, (Used in '99-'00 Jeeps and '00 Dakota/Durango's)
    2) Mopar P/N 53032145AA - Red-banded two-hole injector, rated for 25.8 lb./hr. at 49 PSI (Used in all '01-'03 4.7L V8's)
    3) Mopar P/N 53032704AB - Green-banded four-hole injector, rated for 27.6 lb./hr. at 49 PSI (Used in all '04-'07 4.7L V8's)
I believe this video would be incredibly useful to many owners of stock 4.7L V8's like myself, who want the best performance without running the risk of running too rich for the PCM to handle.

I don't know how an injector would cause the transmission to shift smoother, did not notice anything like that, better throttle response and a smoother idle I did have.

The one thing that the Autool testers have is a reverse flush I had to modify mine so it would do that. Even though I burnt up my ultrasonic bath because there was no timer or heat control you you cannot leave it unattended. I replaced it with a another ultrasonic bath that was much larger. Hey Martin! Another Vegas local here with a 4.7 WJ. Have you ever experienced a rough idle and engine shake intermittently? Usually happens after engine has been running and is restarted after a short break and lasts no more than 5 mins, correcting itself eventually, only to happen again randomly. Do you still have your Cherokee? I would like to see a comparison between oem xj 4.0L injectors and the common doge neon 4 hole injectors. This swap has been around so long i guess there's the 12 holes as well. From what I've seen, it should NOT improve mpg as your pcm will provide the same amount of fuel regardless of the flow rate and amount of holes in the injector. Off idle it should be smoother though. The 4.0L is a dated engine now a days and modern injectors don't seem to make a difference
