Should you have maybe sanded it down before or in between coats to smooth it out? Asking because I’m going to use this in a few days and the scratches are in a very noticeable area. It’s an eye sore! I also ordered the spray can just in case.
Awesome outcome. Have also heard the paint on these trucks are not the best. All manufacturer use water based instead of oil based colors due to EPA. I found this out when I took my 2019 silverado to the dealer. The paint chips special easily unfortunately. Great video for sure.
Great video! Thank you. The pen sucks though! I had to press above where I wanted it to come out. Some of my chips were too small for the pen even but still looks better than bare metal and don’t have to worry about the rust now.

You want to go higher than the oem paint 🎨 and then cut it down, then use the clear, then cut that down.

Have you considered the scratch protection kit from weather tech? It includes ppf pre cut for the door sills and easy to install

Use a toothpick for the small ones
