PLEASE don’t ever stop doing full-face GRWM videos. I love & appreciate every single time I get to watch you apply a full face of makeup. Plus, I think it’s very beneficial to see how each item you hauled applies on the skin and to hear your thoughts on each item as well. You created such a beautiful look! There can NEVER be too many “full face get ready with me” videos. It’s actually my preferred method of learning. Specifically, it takes me back to older YT days of just putting on makeup.

I also have hip dysplasia and I swear when we go into adrenaline mode we lose all functionality on how to gingerly step because those are always the times it seems to agitate it! I’m so glad yours is feeling better. I know that gut punch feeling of “oh no, is this time the big one?” And I’m so glad this wasn’t it. You’re such a strong woman and I look up to you so much ❤️

I went keto in January to try and lose the pandemic pounds. When we were going through the pantry and freezer we found my hidden treasures like Cadbury mini eggs frozen and hidden WAY in the back. My son got to eat them all and I was ok with that.

I love your get ready with me videos! I prefer to see the products in action, as opposed to only hearing them talked about. Would love to hear and see more about the skincare you use under your makeup products. Especially which sunscreen you use. I'm always looking for sunscreens that are a good value that work well under makeup.💜
I've always been such a fan of cool toned taupes and mauves,plums,and browns! I'm more of a warm toned person but as far as eyeshadow goes the cool toned neutrals look so much better on me.
The Vintage Glamour palette from Lorac is a gorgeous cool toned palette. (Dupe for Natasha Denona Glam palette only Lorac's new formula is better.)

I’ve had the Dior cool neutrals since it came out and I love it! It was a splurge, and I never hear anyone talking about it, but it’s exactly how you describe it - everyday cool neutrals. (I never use the primer, wish they’d put in another shadow.)

I agree! I love the palette and also wish they would have put in another shadow over the primer. I think the palette that comes closest is Stone Cold Fox by ColorPop (which has more cool tones shades than the Dior)
I love that one too! My skin is so cool toned that all the warm golds and bronzes look ridiculous on me. Im always looking for cool toned palettes!

Emily if or when you have to have hip replacement, it’s really not that bad. I highly recommend staying in a rehab for like a week. They get you up and walking right away. I just had hip replacement on my right hip back in October and was pretty much back to normal in December/January. I think you would be in a month. I just took longer because my back is a mess. Of course I’m praying you can put it off awhile. Just know when you do need it, it’s amazing. I was up and walking the next day. I mean walking a lot. The rehab I went to I had 3 hours of therapy a day. Very little pain. I quit using real pain killers (prescription) when I came home. I was really afraid to do it but was happily surprised at how quick I was up and going.

I am so glad you are feeling better. I am 47 years old and 6 months post surgery from having a total hip replacement and it was the best thing I ever did! But I am feeling you re hip pain - it can be so funky and affect your knees, hips etc etc.

I have the Dior Backstage palette in the cool neutrals (002) and I absolutely love it. I can do a simple one and done look with the matte shadows. I use the darkest shades as eyeliners. It works wonderfully for a professional daytime look, using two or three shades together. At night, I can create a simple but sophisticated smoky look without resorting to the traditional gray tones. It really is a wonderful palette, and goes beautifully with my more subdued, pale, cool-toned coloring.

That Dior concealer is my HG; I actually reach for it to do a light base more than some of my tinted moisturizers. My wife thinks I’m nuts - which, fair, most of the time - because I have multiple backups. And I’m so glad your hip is feeling better; I have a lot of damage in both legs from a chronic blood clotting disorder, and trying to get around on such a recurring issue is a literal pain - and when it’s permanent, those bad days are sometimes hard to take. Anyway, yours are the only GRWM I really watch; there’s something much more personable and kind about how you do them - like we’re just girlfriends chatting over coffee. Please don’t limit those.
