I had my first ever tooth fairy duty last night (Belle lost her first tooth yesterday!) and WOW is that hard. Like, seriously? How did my parents do this?! And the door creaked and both girls started moving. So two different times, I had to make a quick exit and didn't make it to the pillow. So then I decided to push an envelope under the door containing her $ for the tooth, and announcing to her that she gets to keep her very special first lost tooth! So I kinda failed. The price of that Tarte palette seemed so steep until I realized it’s $13 per quad, which is barely more than a L’Oréal quad!

One of my favorite things about your videos is hearing the way you say “hello friends” at the very beginning when the video first starts. The sweet, calming way that you always say it and the whole vibe of the video. I do always feel like I’m just sitting down, having coffee, and chit-chatting with and old friend. Never Change, Emily! 😇
Tarte also has a blush set that's just like the eyeshadow quads, except you get like 3-4 sets of blushes that twist open to reveal gorgeous blush shades, and a few highlight shades. I purchased the set a couple months back and have been very happy with the quality, texture, and wear time of the blushes. Well worth the price!
The tart quads remind me of the melt cosmetics stacks.

People do not get sick from germs and diseases are not "catchable." Disease starts in the brain with a traumatic, unexpected and stressful event? The best example and most commonly referred to mass illness event was the Great Flu of 1918. It set the stage for the current dogma that the "flu" has a season....fall. The flu of 1918 began in the fall, but what else was of great significance that also occurred during the same time in 1918?? The German Chancellor officially announced the end of World War I. Two weeks following that announcement, millions and millions of people who were directly affected by the very first World War went into the healing phase. The healing phase of a Territorial Fear is Bronchitis and flu-like symptoms. The healing phase of being scared to death for yourself or someone you love is pneumonia and tuberculosis, and lung tumors. None of these symptoms will appear when someone is in the conflict stage. All of them appear when you go thru the healing phase and the conflict is resolved. So millions of people began with these very serious illnesses given the length of time the war lasted, and this was all before the invention of antibiotics in 1929 which would have helped most people. This was also a time of food rationing, so the proper amount of protein needed when a tumor begins to degrade wasn't available. More people died in Europe than the US because the war was fought over there. And from that very event, we are told all around the world to get our vaccinations to prevent something that is directly caused by the things happening only in our own lives such as the disappointment of the end of summer, the trauma of a child starting school for the first time who doesn't want to go, the stress of having a new school routine after leisure time all summer.....can you see the pattern here? If you cannot "catch" cancer, arthritis or diabetes from another person, then you cannot "catch" a cold or flu. There is no such thing that only SOME diseases are communicable, but not all. Everything is based on the Germ Theory that was never proven to be 100% accurate from the very beginning.

How sweet that Belle lost her “first tooth”. Someone wrote about creating a mailbox 📬 for the tooth fairy 🧚♀️ to visit and I love the idea.
I remember my first grade teacher created a post office and mailbox delivery for our Valentines Day cards. It was the most memorable experience.
Easter bunny, Santa, turkey and all other holidays visited this post office within our classroom.

I use a dried up supersizer mascara to comb thru and separate my lashes at the end of any mascara application. It is life changing!!
I sometime mix that flower beauty liquid bronzer in with my sunscreen when I am wearing no foundation.

I followed your look, and instead of using the tarte palette i used too faced semi sweet chocolate bar palette: peanut butter, mousse, coconut creme, truffled, and butter pecan, and it looked similar to your look!

I love your tooth fairy story! My son lost his second tooth unexpectedly because it wasn't even loose and I didn't have any money. So I told him let's do an experiment and see if the tooth fairy knows about your tooth if we leave it on the bedside table instead of under your pillow. It bought me a day 😂
When we were kids my mum said let's see if we can get the tooth fairy's footprints. So she put an ink pad and piece of paper next to the glass of water with the tooth and borrowed a doll from a neighbour. While sleeping she put only the left foot in the ink pad and hopped it over to the glass. For years we were convinced the tooth fairy had only one leg 🤣
One time my brother put his tooth in a glass and left it on the ironing board in the dining room. I woke up to get a glass of water and chugged half of it before I saw his tooth 😂

This is the first time I’ve seen that Tarte palette. It doesn’t seem like they’ve done much advertising about it but I think a lot of people would enjoy it. I am your lash twin. Mine are straight as a board. I heard waterproof mascaras help with that and was so hesitant to try them but I finally did and now I can’t even wear a regular one. It helps hold the curl so much better than regular mascaras.

I loved Allure the most because they focused almost entirely on makeup and fashion. No dedicated relationship, career or sex BS. There will be a few short articles about that which will pop up but that's it. My fave is Kevyn Aucoin's column on makeup techniques (he does promote a lot of Shiseido,MUFE, Cargo and Christian Dior makeup though) Rest his sweet soul.

Tooth Fairy pillow! They put the tooth in the pillow and leave it on the dresser. Then the tooth fairy has an easier time doing her job! We got ours on Etsy.
i remember ages ago, talking the 90s to early 2000’s there was a makeup brand at the makeup counters called Prescriptives thats now defunct and they were the first ones that I remember to come out with a loose powder that when you put it on your face it felt like spritzing your face with water and it was SO amazing at the time because there hadnt been anything like it. Im stil mad they went out of business because they had some great makeup back in the day. anyone else remember that brand?
Yes! My mom used it! I kept her palettes for sooo many years after she passed. Their eye makeup is still the only makeup that never irritated my eyes.
I remember this and Origins. I loved their compact foundation and the weird triangle sponge it came with.

I get the same effect as that cream bronzer with the Loreal Lumi Bronzer...its not super deep and has a very subtle shimmer. Its my FAVORITE bronzer, and a pretty recent find for me. I think I love not just the finish of it, but the soft tone for my very fair/cool skin tone.

Looking beautiful as always. No matter how you do your makeup, you always look so put together. I think your story about the tooth fairy was great! I had to do that several times. Once I fell asleep and forgot about the note the fairy was going to leave and my daughter found it! So many good memories. My son is 27, daughter is 30 and I just went through the Santa Claus letters when they stopped over for dinner one night and it was a blast reading them all together!!!

I find the elf camo concealer to be a gem for sure. I hate the wet n wild incognito concealer because it creased so badly under my eyes that it made me look 20 years older!Emily you surely know how to find those hidden gems that are just so good.Your makeup videos are just so relaxing.Emily have u tried the mascara from shopmissA its has the word WISP on it.Its a diamond in the rough.It makes your eyelashes look wispie.People have asked me where did u get those wispie lashes at they are stunning; then when i go to tell them its just mascara i am wearing they are shocked &for $1 you cannot beat it
