I was in college then, 1st of year of my degree, I used to cross a music shop everyday standing and watching taal big banner and the CD. I did not have a cd Palyer then. Cassette was not makiing justice for that kind of music. I used to think people who could afford a CD then is so lucky. But I manifested and bought an amazing CD player and played Taal CD for the first time and I blew away. I am not sure if anybody could experience this feeling in this current generation but I would be happy to watch this movie in theatres if its rerleased with Dolby Atmos.(And People would Understand what a gem this album is) It would still make people run for their money if it is re-released, just for music people will throng to the cinema hall.

It won’t be exaggerated even if we say Taal is Rahman’s career best 🎵.. such is its impact! Truly, the film and the composer were born for each other!! It’s sheer magic is unforgettable and eternal. The kinda music which always lives with your soul. What Subhash Ghai is hundred percent true and believable almost every word except one or two things with regard to the pricing matters. Because I remember reading Nadeem Shravan interview for Filmfare in nineties who said that Rahman was the original choice and because he asked one crore, Mr. Ghai had backed out and went to them but not because he’s busy. With Taal, the figure only doubled or tripled as I read about it somewhere but again may be Subhas Ghai must be right as ARR told him we can think about money later. However, after the smashing chartbuster success of the music, he must have gladly payed him his due. Nevertheless, money matters aside, it’s a great evergreen album for both these stalwarts. In a way, it’s a career best album for both of them. This album is like never before ever after for the duo! Period.

Why TAAL is best bcoz the parameter is a album having 8 songs and 8 out of 8 songs are blockbuster...As far as Taal is concerned it had 12 songs including instrumental so 12/12 songs are mind-blowing well composed more over blockbuster...

Please create a video for Yuvvraaj. It didn't impress me for the first listen and i know it is not his masterpiece or something. The only track which i liked from the album is Manamohini around 2013. In few months later, i got attached Tu meri dost hain. But when i listened to this album two days back, every single song impressed and amazed me and i regretted not liking this album. Most of the songs will be more than six minutes and didnt bore me is unbelievable. In almost every song, he hid a magic. Shano Shano is a pop song, but I couldn't understand how someone could blend such a humming in between a pop song. I think ARR made the lady vocal sounds like Dilruba (3:29 minute of th-cam.com/video/GaK8aLPD2os/w-d-xo.htmlsi=-GjfJmPh9ei3yuCO) ARR's vocal interlude in Dil Ka Rishta song, the way used Manamohini music in Tu muskura song. This is perhaps the most beautiful romantic Movie in the country till date but in my opinion it could have been a cringe fest without Rahman's music. The background score made average acting look so beautiful. The plot is like any other bollywood movie but the hills and background score is what made this movie something else. And ofcourse, Akshay khanna's face and expressions just felt like he could go that deep in Love. And Ofcourse, It was Aishwarya Rai as a pahadi girl just changed the whole game, otherwise there are so many movies with slight variations of the same plot.

I was in college then, 1st of year of my degree, I used to cross a music shop everyday standing and watching taal big banner and the CD. I did not have a cd Palyer then. Cassette was not makiing justice for that kind of music. I used to think people who could afford a CD then is so lucky. But I manifested and bought an amazing CD player and played Taal CD for the first time and I blew away. I am not sure if anybody could experience this feeling in this current generation but I would be happy to watch this movie in theatres if its rerleased with Dolby Atmos.(And People would Understand what a gem this album is) It would still make people run for their money if it is re-released, just for music people will throng to the cinema hall.

It won’t be exaggerated even if we say Taal is Rahman’s career best 🎵.. such is its impact! Truly, the film and the composer were born for each other!! It’s sheer magic is unforgettable and eternal. The kinda music which always lives with your soul.
What Subhash Ghai is hundred percent true and believable almost every word except one or two things with regard to the pricing matters. Because I remember reading Nadeem Shravan interview for Filmfare in nineties who said that Rahman was the original choice and because he asked one crore, Mr. Ghai had backed out and went to them but not because he’s busy. With Taal, the figure only doubled or tripled as I read about it somewhere but again may be Subhas Ghai must be right as ARR told him we can think about money later. However, after the smashing chartbuster success of the music, he must have gladly payed him his due. Nevertheless, money matters aside, it’s a great evergreen album for both these stalwarts. In a way, it’s a career best album for both of them. This album is like never before ever after for the duo! Period.

Please create a video for Yuvvraaj. It didn't impress me for the first listen and i know it is not his masterpiece or something. The only track which i liked from the album is Manamohini around 2013. In few months later, i got attached Tu meri dost hain. But when i listened to this album two days back, every single song impressed and amazed me and i regretted not liking this album. Most of the songs will be more than six minutes and didnt bore me is unbelievable.
In almost every song, he hid a magic.
Shano Shano is a pop song, but I couldn't understand how someone could blend such a humming in between a pop song. I think ARR made the lady vocal sounds like Dilruba (3:29 minute of th-cam.com/video/GaK8aLPD2os/w-d-xo.htmlsi=-GjfJmPh9ei3yuCO)

This is perhaps the most beautiful romantic Movie in the country till date but in my opinion it could have been a cringe fest without Rahman's music. The background score made average acting look so beautiful. The plot is like any other bollywood movie but the hills and background score is what made this movie something else. And ofcourse, Akshay khanna's face and expressions just felt like he could go that deep in Love. And Ofcourse, It was Aishwarya Rai as a pahadi girl just changed the whole game, otherwise there are so many movies with slight variations of the same plot.
