I feel like I'm the only person who doesn't care for the MCU. I enjoyed the early movies, but it became so difficult to keep track of all the movies. I missed one or two and suddenly had to idea what was going on. It makes no sense that we can have all the CW shows, but they can't allow SnyderVerse to finish his vision? All of these things can exist at the same time. Joaquin Phoenix's Joker can co-exist with Jared Leto's Joker. We've already seen it work, but we also saw how popular the one was with less studio interference.
You are not the only person. I don't care either. Not anymore. But for me it's more about them watering down their stories and characters so much that it has become so bland and uninteresting.
@@abonny I can understand that. Honestly, that seems to be a Disney problem overall. I find most of what Disney produces to be bland, and I think it's by design like the Mary Sues in literature. They want the audience to self insert and fill in the blanks with their own view of who the character should be. I've never been a fan of that technique.

In the huge pot of DC fandom, yes there are Snyder fans, but we are still in the same pot. Just because we are both fans of Snyder and DC, doesn't make us any less of a fan DC. But it seems that the real problem here is what the DC/Snyder fans want, is being viewed as we ONLY want Snyder content and are saying screw the rest of the fandom. Not true at all. Our concern is, why can't both things exist especially if WB has admitted to adapting the "Multiverse". Yes, we're very grateful for ZSJL and we paid our money twice to see two different versions of essentially the same film. But before Snyder made MOS not many DC fans were crazy about Superman Returns or Green Lantern. And it shows because Snyder's DC films are much more popular and financially consistent than anything else WB has ever released. So why are WE the ones being ignored and swapped out for this "new" direction?

Now I'm more of Superman than Batman fan. I've been against Matt Reeves Batman since WB pushed Ben Affleck out for Matt Reeves. How could Batman fans be against Ben Affleck's Batman vs Deathstroke film? Deathstroke was was goin to destroy Batman from the inside out. He was goin to make Batman's life a living hell to the point of insanity. It was goin be Joker where the film explores Batman's insanity side and Arkham Asylum was goin to be part of film. It frustrates me Batman fans hated that idea and want Matt Reeves Batman instead. DCEU died from the moment Zack took his films out of DCEU. Without MOS, BVS UE, and ZSJL being the foundation of the DCEU. The DCEU is dead. There hasn't been a DCEU movie that is better than Snyder's films. Its pretty cool when you discover a show on your own. I watch Black Mirror, Queen's Gambit, The Boys, and Scream Queens. There fuckin awesome! Why didn't I watch Scream Queens back then! I was goin to check it Invincible since my friend watches it and praises it.

WB has a lack of vision with their DC properties. They want to “play it safe” but playing it safe always leads to mediocrity. It is true that taking risks and trying something different can lead to failure, but it can also lead to brilliance...mind-blowing brilliance **cough, cough ZSJL cough, cough** Failure is better than mediocrity because you can learn from failure and make something better next time around. Mediocrity just leads to more mediocrity. I would also argue that many fans who are saying that they are canceling their HBO Max subscriptions are doing it out of protest. They too have #RestoreTheSnyderVerse on their minds. Other fans of a different mindset might believe it’s “giving up” when in reality it’s a protest against the silence coming from Warner Media and HBO Max. It’s a protests against the studio ignoring fandom. Fans perceived as “giving up” are feeling helpless and if WB and HBO Max won’t listen to fandom, maybe they’ll listen to our wallets when we refuse to shell out our hard-earned cash. I’m not saying it’s the right or wrong way, but I don’t see it as giving up. Why continue to support a studio and company that doesn’t want to hear what the fans want. It’s a bit like remaining in an bad relationship...why remain in it and support someone who doesn’t give a damn about what you want, but expects you to stick around to take your paycheck? Maybe, it’s not the right thing to do, but to many fans, they feel like they have few choices.

They keep pushing the idea that the majority of Snyder fans and his films don't represent the entirety of the DC and DCEU fans. Now I am going to say something that might be just a little controversial to some. Unless Nolan returns and makes the Dark Knight 4 with Christian Bale, the Snyderverse, with Snyder returning as the director, would be the biggest box office draw for DC films. Shazam made money but not so much to be considered a big hit, Aquaman came out at the right place and the right time and I doubt that the sequel would make nearly as much. WW1984 was a critical failure and that could effect the sequel in a very negative way, BoP completely flopped alongside the theatrical JL which was being heavily marketed as "course corrected" Superfriends sequel that fans of MoS, BvS, and Snyder's direction in general, as well as many that saw right through the horseshit. Joker did well simply because it's the Joker. Any Batman movie will do well and since this will be another grounded take on the character and people will automatically flock to it. That being said, I have a feeling that the new Batman films would not be able to replicate the success of the Nolan trilogy. I also firmly believe that if they make that Batfleck mini series or we simply continue talking about it, that could divide the Batman movie fanbase completely (Many fans and moviegoers will support the one they like more by doing the exact opposite to the other). Until I see how well Suicide Squad and The Flash do at the box office, I stand by my statement. Until then, we can all speculate.
i think the whole snyderverse is done because of ray fisher and him going nuts now on warnermedia..well can't blame ray but if you wanted to make something you should not have gone off on warnermedia..now snyderverse will not happen for sure.
This has nothing to do with Ray at all. They were moving away from Snyder, unfortunately, in 2017 with the theatrical cut. Long before Ray came out with the allegations
