    Man I don't know how I got here but Toney's record is simply amazing. For the amount of fights he fought over that long period of time with a freakish record, he's one of the greatest ever.

      hagler10033 Toney's record&who he fought outweighs your opinion of his credentials. Roy deserves legendary status, the same as Toney does...fighting middle to heavyweight says it all well enough.

      hagler10033 what are u talking about u don’t know boxing the man has won different belts in many different weight classes which includes middleweight, super middleweight, cruiser weight and heavyweight like u make no sense. Plus he would fight anyone anytime any place anywhere. 95% of the boxers today can’t even do the shit toney has accomplished and that’s a fact. If u could win belts in numerous different weight classes that means your and all time great simple which toney has done.

      KAMAZ I like Toney, but the problem is, to him everything should happen in the US. A true American boxer that is superior to others shouldn’t need to fight only in his country. That s just bullshit

    Come on, don't take it so personal people. It's James Toney, he's always mumbled his words and he's always talked sh*t about everybody and everything. Is he vulgar and offensive?, yes, he's a fighter not college professor. I respect him as a fighter, cause don't get it twisted, in his prime Toney was a master technician with real KO power but when he starts talking sh*t, I don't take him seriously. I think he's hilarious.

      mattajas Ali got his ass kicked to the canvas by a left hook that was only about 70 % of what Frazier was capable of delivering.
      I'm pretty sure a proper hit by Tyson would have sent Ali to dreamland.
      As 4 winning on points, that's a shitty way to win, it's fuckin' worthless.
      A proper man stands and exchanges punches until he KO's the other guy or gets KO'd himself. That's how all fights should be.

    • @michaeltrumph121
      @michaeltrumph121 9 ปีที่แล้ว

      mattajas"And when tyson gets close he would clinch as he always did against hard hitters."
      Ali was not a hard hitter.
      Ali never faced anyone who had amazing strength and speed. His opponents either had one or another, never both.
      Prime Ali was knocked down by a weakling like Henry Cooper. Imagine what Mike would do to him, he'd sever his head off with a clean left hook.

    He is right. Ali mimicked Robinson big time. He even said it himself. Even down to the gear he trained in. Ali would run in combat boots the same way that Robinson did. He mimicked the slick moves and combos of Robinson. Robinson is the greatest fighter of all times. How could you deny that. He registered 110 KOs in his career. That's more kos than most fighters have fights today. His record was 175-19. Most of those losses came after he was 40 years old. That is REMARKABLE.
