@@XTremeGaming-li3ct Yeah, i've worked on plenty of sleds. Theres a reason the sled doesnt rev up.. I've watched so many of his videos and all the sleds run like shit. Not hating, He's just wasting his money.
Absolutely. Time to leverage all of these subscribers to your sponsors. Offer up some advertising to your local dealer. Liquidate and upgrade... do something like you said yourself nicer newer sled and this would have been a monumental ride video in all that powder... Ps I’d love a nice snap back
Born and raised Vermonter here. Now living in Ky. I really miss the snow and snowmobiling. I came across your videos and love them! Keep the videos coming.
still great vid,,i have over a foot snow total, massena,ny on Canadian border,ya that much snow sucks with a regular 121inch track even if it was new,im in the same boat..
It does suck Jeremy, but like you said "that's life". Luckily it usually has a way of turning just be patient. I started following you and Mike while you were on the TAT ride and I was amazed and impressed at how positive you guys were. Rain, equipment problems what ever you never let it get you down. Don't start now. It's that attitude and love for adventure that we all love and at least why I follow you. Hang in there, we're behind you all the way.
I feel for you. Haven't been riding in 2 weeks because our average temperature has been -45°C. (-49°F)!! But before that, I used about a 1/4 tank of fuel just blazing a trail around my acre of property, in about 20"s of heavy powder. Thank God I have reverse because I kept getting buried and looked just like yours. Keep up the great videos. I appreciate that they are real and you have mishaps and breakdowns just like us. Thanks.
Exhausted being open like that is like having a set of pipes on it. You need to jet your carbs up or fix it. My friend burned my xc 600 up after he hit a tree and cracked the pipe. It leans the motor out. Be careful bro till you get it fixed.
That snow looks incredible. Just picked up a killer 2007 F8 Sno Pro this past weekend and I'm excited to get it out this weekend. Way too cold for anything this week in Iowa!! Love your videos!
Honestly bro I love that you keep the old sleds goin, I love my old sleds and love working on em! I have rebuilt tons of sleds and motorcycles and such and I like working in old sleds probably the most! Keep the vids coming bro, much love from Custer South Dakota!🤟🏻🇺🇸
Can't tell if you did it, but when you ride in powder like that you should close the louvers on the hood. Open the hood and you pinch the tabs and they close. Prevents snow from getting sucked into the intake and making your sled run poorly.
@@SimplyBeckett I ride a 01 mxz 700 and mine for sure has them. The manual talks about closing them too. The air filter material is pretty loose packed material and those vents in the hood allow snow to just pack right on top of it. Not sure if newer sleds have them...the air filter might be put in a better place that doesn't allow as much snow to get in it.
Yes that is a good idea mxz and older Yamahas have them I owned both and my Yamaha srx used to do the same when the snow got on the hood but I think he has clutch issues as well .. along with the exhaust
Wow Jeremy, Dont be so hard on yourself, I feel bad you couldnt go have a good time, Trust me, I know how that feels, Thank you so much for all the great content to provide to everyone, Love It All!!
Well your doing awesome man I watch every video you post! I wish I still had my renegade highmark 1000 I'd come rip with you but I sold it.... Stupid...
Well you made it alot further in the snow than I did..i got 3 feet than got completely buried.. It's were the shed sits ATM .. Awesome Videos keep it up
I've been in the same boat, have a 99 formula 380 and it always got stuck in the powder. I could never enjoy snowstorms so I picked up a newer sled. Doesnt have a long track or large lugs but at least picking up the back end is 1000 times easier than the old sleds lol. Be sure to show the vid if you fix up the 7hundo. Love the vids buddy
That’s why u don’t ride alone, getting stuck is one of the most frustrating things a snowmobiler can experience. If u had someone with u just a tug on the skis it would come flying out
Still waiting for the first ride-able snow of the season. Bought a '06 Sabercat 700 this year and have a 99 ZR700 and haven't been able to touch them. No snow in Jamestown RI.
Southern NH, barely enough, all powdery on top of ice. Lol When are you planning on doing the drawing for the hat? Just curious. Oh and you're probably losing a bunch of power with that bad exhaust. You should swap it sooner than later.
We have 1988 and 1990 skidoo safari's. They are super light so they float on top of the snow. Also, we have a 4 stroke artic cat 2 up sled, that rides amazing.
You know what would be great for you? A 144 Polaris Assault. Now I know you probably don’t want one because u seem like a ski-doo guy but a 144 would be great for you. You don’t need a 155 because u don’t go wander off into the mountains. You would be great on a 144 because they are meant to be very versatile and you love rippin around the fields and that’s what a 144 is great for. U could do cat walks and everything with it.
Be nice if we could afford new sleds but getting stuck and working on older stuff is half the fun I think cool as hell vid brother your having fun I hope that's what it's all about keep it up awesome video
Small tip: You let it idle to much, and you are most likely fouling your spark plugs, causing it bog, and lose power. I did that too until I did some research. I replaced my plugs and it ran perfectly. It may not be the case for you, but just trying to help!👍🏼
How much snow did y’all get?? I’m in southern Maine and it hasn’t been a good winter snow wise at all... rest of the country has massive snow and we have one of the worst winters ever. Rain almost every storm or sleet freezing rain mixed in
The exhaust is making it run like shit. no back pressure.
Kyle Gale you are right 2 strokes need the back pressure or your gunna blow it up
Fy
Scavenging not back pressure, sled is junk

Yet again another reason to sell all your sleds and buy a newer one

I think we all know what you should do Jeremy... GET A MOUNTAIN SLED!
Great video as usual though.
Edward Edman hell ya
What you need is a Polaris aka 155
Should buy an rmk
It’s the exhaust, no back pressure
Hayden Dennis damage is dun

I live in Canada and right now where I'm from I have enough snow to snowmobile
I'm on the other side of the border so I get the same storms as you do! Lots of fun with my 1998 Mach 1 and 2006 Mach Z. Keep the great vids comming!
Live in Wisconsin we got about 8 to 1 foot of snow here. You should get a yamaha snowmobile
You should a yamaha viper

I went snowmobiling in my fields today and hit a drift that was solid and flipped my snowmobile
Everything OK Jeremy? Expected to see a lot more sledding videos from you with all this snow. Hope you're doing good big guy
Im wondering the same

Ive never seen on any sleds were you open and close them. It's just a screen screw on inside of hood
